Can't give less than five stars to a story about adopting a "hopeless cause" pet from an animal shelter.

None of them are "hopeless causes"... even if they don't live long or have their issues, they all need and deserve to feel loved and have a home. <3

Loved reading this story again, mostly in my memory, because I can't find a copy of this anywhere. But I remember it being a great short scene!
