El capitán Lemuel Gulliver se encuentra en toda clase de situaciones paradójicas a lo largo de sus viajes por ultramar.

El capitán Gulliver me ha gustado como personaje; es aventurero y de buen corazón. Sus historias me han divertido.

Esta edición gráfica es de lo más cortica, resume bastante de los cuatro viajes y me ha dejado con ganas de leerme la novela en edición normal, sobre todo, para conocer más sobres los "Yahoos". Mientras, esta edición seguro me la guardo para cuando tenga hijos o sobrinos leérselas. Me resultó muy entretenida, a los niños les gustará.

One man's travels of epic proportions

For the few that have not heard of the classic story of Gulliver's Travels it is about a man who finds himself in a land of tiny people at first and getting stuck in a war with a neighboring kingdom. After returning with some of the pint sized animals to prove his tale eventually Lemuel Gulliver found his urge to travel the seas to great once more but this time he becomes the little man as he finds himself in a kingdom of giants and as such is interesting to them but is constantly in danger of many large threats so he has to be kept safe.

This book being a graphic representation of the original tale gives you all the basics to enjoy the story (to which I am glad the second part was included too since I only knew of the first part when I was little myself) and should be safe for young readers. That said there is a bit of violence (tiny arrows to the face), an act of urination (though it is more implied then shown so some readers might not understand the "making of water"), and imprisonment in both parts of the adventure so use your own judgment on whether you want your young one to read this. Personally I think it is a fine way to get a young person interested in some of the classics. :)

Baca komik ini sambil terkenang tontonan masa kecil yang ceritanya mirip sama komik ini (adaptasi mungkin? Bener-bener lupa ^^;).

Suka sama perjalanan Gulliver, seru banget~ Sayang komik ini cuma memuat dua perjalanan Gulliver, negeri liliput dan negeri raksasa. Penasaran sama petualangannya di pulau melayang dan negeri kuda yang bisa bicara ^^

A classic story converted to graphic novel. I think I read the full book years ago, and this version includes the parts I remember from the book. I’m sure it left out some parts, but it will hold the reader’s attention and might get them to read the full book sometime later.
