16 Kisses by Kelly Oram- All Cassie Caldwell wants for her sixteenth birthday is to finally be kissed. When Cassie’s older brother and his best friend—the lovable, sexy cowboy, Jared—discover her secret, Jared takes it upon himself to make sure her birthday wish comes true.
Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott - Dakota Wright has been making Jace Padgett look good for years…and she’s tired of it. What started as a favor has turned into a habit—one that she’s justified in her mind because Jace also happens to be six feet of gorgeous hunky quarterback, green eyes and a smile that can swing a girl to the moon. But the last favor she did for him may have finally tipped the scales, and Dakota’s ready to call it quits. One small hiccup—her heart can’t seem to let her. And when Jace starts to share pieces of the real him, Dakota begins to think her heart might just be smarter than her head after all.
Ali is a USA Today Bestselling author of sports romance. She has always loved to read, especially when there's a happily ever after, but found that there weren't enough books out there featuring girl athletes. So, she decided to work on that. Like the heroines in her books, Ali is an athlete, with running and skiing her favorite sports these days. Ali hails from Vermont and now lives in her own happily-ever-after in Colorado with her husband, two sets of twins, and golden retriever Pancake. When she's not pursuing an outdoor adventure, Ali's less healthy passions include ice cream, coffee, and beer.

It was an anthology of six rather generic romances. Only two stood out: Sixteen Kisses by Kelly Oram. It was adorable and, although not quite unique, had the touch of magic that I love in Mrs. Oram's work! I smiled and giggled at the humor and cute romance.
But then there was Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott. Jace the jock has been living off Dakota, the co-valedictorian. She's been helping him cheat off her on tests, homework, and he even made it to regionals in a poetry competition using poems that Dakota wrote for him. Although this frustrates her, Dakota can't bring herself to stop helping him. Why? Because she "loves" him.
Yeah right. She kept sucking up to him, and while they ended up together in the end, they had one of the crappiest relationships I've ever read. They're in love?? Could've fooled me!
Why does this jock need her help so bad? Because he can hardly read. He's in high school and he CAN'T READ! And he does have a dicey family situation, but it's not the type of situation that is so bad that the kids, who spend most of their childhood in school anyways, don't learn how to read!
And on top of that, very few people know about this. You'd think people would figure it out pretty soon that you can't even read their text messages or road signs and you spell everything wrong!
Seriously!
Even though Jace got away with cheating all those years, it's still a sketchy situation. It's not possible that he got Dakota's help on nearly everything!
And she's such a butt-kiss because she can't help it and I'm trying not to pull my hair out! I was close to DNFing the last story!
Other than that, this was basically brain candy. If you're in a really patient and fluffy mood, then go for it. If not, then steer clear!
What I Loved: What I loved the most was the silly smile on my face at the end of each story. I’m a big sucker for HEA’s and sweet romance stories, therefore this book was right up my alley in all the right ways. “Lucky” was the common theme of the book – thus the title and the St. Patrick’s release day, so it was interesting to see how each of the 6 authors utilized the theme. Another semi-theme I noticed in the first 3 stories: each of the male characters in had a “goal” to make or at least was enamored with their leading ladies laughing. I just thought it was a funny happenstance.
So I was surprised by how satisfied I was with the short stories. Like I said, I want a whole book worth, not really a small taste. However, these shorts were perfect for the kind of week I was having when I started the book. It was nice to not feel like I had stopped in the middle of something – and I could actually put the book down for a day while my-crazy-life proceeded on. Twice, though, I was up until early AM hours finishing up a story. I LOVE when authors do that to me. I also hate it, because I pay for it the next day!
Not So Much: Alright you authors, please no jealousy for not getting specifically mentioned..had I divided this review up by story it would be a very long blog post that most people wouldn’t read due to length. BUT I have to say that Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott: I LOVED this more than you could know, I want the book. The WHOLE book. I think the main reason is because of Jace’s learning disability, and his home life – I wanted so much more than was given in back-story in moving forward, in overcoming. This needed an entire book, and I’m actually really sad it was just a short! Seriously.
The Verdict:
First, I am wrong not to give anthologies more of a shot. Not only did I get 3 wonderful shorts from 3 of my favorite authors…but I also found 3 more that I MUST check out. Yes, I’m going to be stalking them and figuring out what they’ve already published and getting my hands on some new material…soonish. I’m not supposed to be buying anything new this year! Second, this anthology is perfect for YA lovers, Romance lovers, people who like sweet stories, happy endings, and goofy grins. Honestly, it would be a perfect vacation, or beach read. Get it! The whole book is clean, perfect for younger and older teens.
Ali's story was the quintessential Ali Dean YA sports romance. Adorable novella about tennis and being in love with your best friend's brother!
Kristen's if, of course, angsty in the most bestest way! I freaking adored Gage, and even though Kenny was on my last nerve through most of the book, she redeemed herself for me in the end.
Cassie's summer love story made me want to go to camp, even though I HATE golf and think it's horribly boring. I also was stuck with "Hello Mudda Hello Fadda" for days after reading the story.
Tessa's was the perfect spring break/young love story. I had the biggest crush on Colin, even though he wasn't the love interest, and I'm hoping for a full length of him soon!
Kelly's was literally the BEST St Patrick's Day story! It fit the title of the anthology PERFECTLY. Sweet YA romance with a hot cowboy? Um, yes please!
Ginger's rounded out the six, and it wouldn't be a Ginger book without issues ;) and this book had it in spades. I'm not a fan of weak heroines, but in this story, Dakota worked, and Jace the asshole became Jace the BEST guy <3
Seriously, adored ALL these stories! I definitely couldn't pick just one favorite. They're ALL so GOOD!
*I am the editor of the book, so I did not purchase it. My review comes courtesy of my edited copy.*
Overall rating of 4 stars -- a fantastic selection of great YA short stories. There's everything from sweet to a bit angsty in here, something for everyone to love. And so many fantastic first kisses...definitely a lot of swooning.
Doubles Love by Ali Dean -- 3.5 stars. This one started off really solidly and sucked me in. I thought for a short story that Mac and Jesse had some great chemistry. I felt bad for Mac's home life, and I enjoyed the sports aspect (even though I'm not a sporty girl). I was a little disappointed in how it played out after the first kiss though. The conflict I expected, but it resolved overly quickly, and I guess I just felt like it was a build up for no reason. I did have to put the story down and get errands done, so maybe I just lost the flow of the story too? Still, a sweet YA with a fantastic first kiss.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not by Kristen Kehoe -- 3 stars. I had a hard time getting sucked into this one. Mostly I just could not empathize with Kennedy very well. I could see what the author was trying to do with her, but it just wasn't working for me...but I think that might have been a personal thing. Gage didn't capture me right away either, but he got more adorable as time went on. And eventually I did start to enjoy Kennedy, so the story ended better than it started.
Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae -- 4.5 stars. Penny and Jensen were so adorable together, they had me smiling all over this story. They had such fantastic friend chemistry, and I loved seeing them both start to see each other as more than just friends -- it gave me the tingles. You could feel the tension of this last summer together, and I was on pins and needles at the end. Thank the baby jesus for the epilogue. Jensen has definitely been added to my book boyfriend list, I love me a goofy adorkable guy.
Someone I Used to Know by Tessa Marie -- 3.5 stars. Definitely a cute YA. Sometimes the choices that both characters made annoyed me. I guess they were just immature and that did fit with their ages, but I wasn't in the mood for that. But I loved the moments of closeness (like at the dock and the boathouse) -- you could feel the chemistry in those moments.
Sixteen Kisses by Kelly Oram -- 5 stars. Yup, this book had everything for me. I loved Cassie -- she was a little bit unsure, but oh so spunky and sassy. I love reading about kisses, and I loved how different all the kisses were. And Jared was just epic swoon. I liked how he played his cards so that she would realize what was real and what was just fun. It was the perfect short story for me, all wrapped up from beginning to end with great fun and chemistry.
Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott -- 4 stars. A part of me was epically sucked into this story. My heart just hurt for Dakota, seeing her impossible crush and watching her get used again and again. I couldn't help but want to see more of why she was attracted to Jace. It just felt kind of shallow, since for the most part he seemed to be quite the jerk. A teeny part of me was hoping that some other nice boy was going to come along and show her what it would be like to be treated right. Jace was redeemed a bit at the end, and my heart did break for what he was going through and his secrets. But I guess it was just the kind of short story where I ended up wanting more b/c so much was going on. I wanted to see what happened when they got to school again. I wanted to see some consequences for Jace. I wanted to see more of what brought them together. So I was torn...b/c I really did gobble it up.
Doubles Love- Light and frivolous, this short failed to grab me. The MCs weren't compelling and the the story was boring. Plus we only get the h's pov which doesn't help the H case of snoozes at all. His character wasn't really developed at all. 1 star.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not- This story was fun and managed to hold my attention. I enjoyed the dual povs, although the H was the one who made this story. He was sweet and attentive, sincere, and very YA swoonworthy. I found myself understanding the h, but also feeling annoyed with her. She was super sensitive, and not in the good way. She didn't let the H know about her biggest issue, but freaks out when he makes a mistake that's related to it. That was annoying. 2.5 stars.
Stroke of Luck- A nice, sweet story about best friends and first loves. It reads like the beginning of a coming of age story, but neither of the MCs were all that compelling. I enjoyed the writing and the dual povs, but there wasn't enough depth to this short. 2 stars.
Someone I Used to Know- This was boring. And full of dumb, teenage angsty things. The h read like a whiny, ungrateful snob, which is unfortunate since we only hear from her pov, and the H was a jerk. 1 star.
Sixteen Kisses- A sweet, slightly off the beaten path, YA romance. The story was very simple, but the writing was engaging. I liked the h, but would have liked hearing from the H as well. 2 stars.
Four Letter Words- Honestly, I hated this story. It made me really angry. The h was such a doormat. I understood the grand gesture for what it was (and the poem was really beautiful, actually), but it wasn't nearly enough for the hurt that the h suffered. Ginger Scott sure can write angst better than anybody else, but I loathed this story. 1.5 stars
Doubles Love by Ali Dean I love Ali Dean. I have read all her books and she is one of the reasons I preordered this anthology. I will tell you the second reason later. Ali Dean writes Sports YA. Girl power! Females that are learning about themselves and those around them. Mackenzie is bright, spunky, and athletic. She thrives in her sport and depends on her best friend, Emma’s family for support. Especially Emma’s older brother Jesse. I enjoyed this novella. It is a fast read and could have had more meat to it, but for the sake of the book, it was perfect.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not by Kristen Kehoe I have only read one book by Kristen Kehoe and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed this story. We have a good girl that was dealt a crappy hand in life. Gage has a good head on his shoulders and is your typical teenage guy. The story is dual POV and is enjoyable. Gage teaches Kennedy to not always assume the worst in people and try to have an opened mind. I like the positive affect he has on her.
Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae Penny has been attending Golf camp every year since the age of 10. That year she meet Jensen and they have been friends ever since. Even though they only see each other during the camp each year, it is like a day hasn’t passed. This year they our counselors and are paired up together. They more time they spend with one another the more they realize their attraction for the other. The story is told from the POV of Penny. I felt the story had some slow parts. I liked the interaction and connection Jensen and Penny had. I also liked that he was Black and she was White. I am not a big fan of golf, but I understand the concepts. It is for serious players and I think Penny and Jensen each brought balance to the other.
Someone I Used to Know by Tessa Marie There was instant chemistry between Hunter and Charlotte. I so want more from this story. What happens after spring break? They live on separate coast. How do they stay in contact? I just would love for the author to continue with this one more. Will she? I don’t know. Hopefully we will find out soon.
16 Kisses by Kelly Oram When this story first began I thought I wasn’t going to like it, even though I enjoy Kelly Oram. Why do I doubt her? I should have known better. This story was perfect. It captured Saint Patrick’s Day, with the whole, “Kiss Me, I’m Irish” slogan. I enjoyed the dynamic between Cassie and her brother. They were your typical siblings that bickering and give each other a hard time. Jared was clever and sweet. Your cowboy in Arizona. Totally sounds like it doesn’t work, BUT it did. Some of the situations in the story don’t sound realistic, but it doesn’t matter. It was sweet, and that is all you can ask for.
Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott Ginger Scott is the 2nd reason I purchased this book. I enjoy reading many of Ginger Scott’s novels. I am of HUGE fan, but this one rubbed me the wrong way. I don’t like that Dakota allowed Jace to use her for all those years and never told her why. She was so infatuated with the guy that she couldn’t see the truth that he was using her. I don’t know. I get the “why” and “how” that was told regarding a bad situation and made it okay, but I still don’t have to like it. The only redeeming thing about this novella was what Jace said at the end at the assembly. I am not going to spoil it, but it was the only thing I ended up liking about the guy.
This one was cute. I liked it. They all seem to be centered around sports, this one was centered around Tennis. And I think that what stuck out the most in the story is the internatization of her feelings. It seemed like there wasn’t a lot of external things happening. Like, it was heavy on the emotion but bit in the action if that makes sense.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not by Kristen Kehoe
I like this a lot better than the first one. It went into more depth in the background of characters and I really liked Kennedy’s character and how Gage kinda pulled her out of her shell and helped her be more trusting of people in general. It was like their love was so effortless honestly, they kind of just slid right into it.
Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae
This one felt more like a middle grade or a high school story. It was cute though. It had a bit of a long distance thing going on you don’t really get a chance to see what could happen. I think I was left wanting actually, like it needed to be longer. The ending was too abrupt for me.
Someone I Used to Know by Tessa Marie
This one I had a hard time connecting with. It was only over the course of a few days and, again, you only see the potential for something more. Maybe I just didn’t believe it because so much happened so fast and we didn’t really get a chance to ‘know’ them that well.
16 Kisses by Kelly Oram
I think this one was probably my favorite out of the entire series. It was fun, flirty and a bit sexy. Jared is so dang sweet and I just want to squish his cheeks. He made Cassies birthday one that will be remembered forever. And by the end of the day it was very clear that they belong together.
Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott
I found this one kinda dark and imcomplete if I’m being honest. And not in a good way. I get this kid needs help but not at the expense of someone esle. I don’t care if she ‘loves’ him. Love doesn’t work this way. What he did was wrong on so many levels. But all the fault can’t be put on Jace’s shoulders. She enabled him for so long it’s really not any wonder what his expectations were. I found her… weak. And the foundation for their relationship wasn’t stable enough in my opinon to really stand the test of time. Making it too far fetched for me.
I think this book was just what i needed after having a bit of a slump from my laat book. This is the first Anthology i have read and is also a first from some of the authors and i really found it enjoyable. I do love a HEA and these short stories did not disappoint. The was love, angst, broken trust and all that teenage problemss in between and i thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
This was a great collection of short YA stories. My favorite was the last one by Ginger Scott. It pulled on my heartstrings more than the others. I wouldn't mind an epilogue to that story. I don't normally read anthologies but I'm glad I read this one. I'm excited that it's introduced me to a few authors I haven't read yet but will now.
I really enjoyed reading new authors. I liked the first two stories and the last two the best so I will definitely be looking for more from those authors! Most of the stories were similar but they were good fun reads that still had solid story lines.
I learned that I love short stories! Quick reads that get right to the point but are still great! I really enjoyed most of the stories, but there was one I really hated so that's the reason for the lower rating. Still worth reading.
★ ★ ★ ★ ½ I bought this anthology back when it was released because there was a Ginger Scott and Kelly Oram novella in it. I have no idea why I hadn’t read it yet. I am so mad at myself because it was really good! I even found some new YA authors to read more of. Here are my thoughts on each novella.
Doubles Love by Ali Dean – ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first time I had read anything by Ali Dean and I absolutely adored it! The characters and plot was so much fun. The feel of the story was a little NA angst-y. It almost had a Tijan vibe going on. I really, really want to read more of her stuff.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not by Kristen Kehoe – ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not was another big winner in my book. I was really touched by Kennedy and Gage’s romance. It was cute, fun, and emotional. I need to read more of this author, too!
Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae – ★ ★ ★ Sadly, Stroke of Luck wasn’t my thing. I am not a big golf fan, so it was hard for me to become quickly interested in the story or the characters. It had it’s cute moments, though.
Someone I Used to Know by Tessa Marie – ★ ★ ★ I was excited to read this novella because I had read a previous book by Tessa Marie and loved it. I wasn’t a huge fan of Someone I Used to Know. I liked it, but I didn’t really connect with the characters like I wanted to.
16 Kisses by Kelly Oram – ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It had been a while since I had read a book by Kelly Oram. 16 Kisses reminded me just how much I love her writing. This one might have been my favorite book in the series simply because it was the most fun and cutest.
Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott – ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four Letter Word was exactly what I’ve come to expect from Ginger Scott. She isn’t afraid to tackle tough topics. I really enjoyed this novella. I just wish it would have been a full length book!
Overall, this was a very fun compilation. I loved trying out some new-to-me YA authors and reading stories from beloved ones.
Eh, whatever. This is a novella, and it spends half of its time showing kisses between her and 15 other people. Very little interaction with the hero of the story. Who sets up her 15 kisses, maybe by accident, but still odd.
I am incredibly unsure if I think I could handle that many kisses in one day. I don't mean that in a negative way, just that now I'm curious. And since my husband is a proper cow that won't let me experiment with multiples like Cass, I guess I'll have to try it out on him. :)
Doubles Love-Ali Dean-4 stars
Ah.door.able!
I just love Ali Dean, I can't help myself. Her jock love stories just make me swoon. And I hate playing sports. Watching? Sign me up. Playing? Nope.
My only complaints are the abrupt ending, and the fact that I just wanted this to be longer.
Team Ryker forever.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not-Kristen Kehoe-2 stars
Someone I Used to Know-Tessa Marie-2 stars
I'm gonna be real. This is definitely a HFN, because Hunter comes off pretty douchy and immature. And they live long distances. And I didn't see they had much in common other than hormonal teenage lust.
1. Sixteen Kisses by Kelly Oram (Date read- April 25, 2018)
This counts as my first read from this anthology but technically I've read it separately as an ebook but now that I've gotten the actual full anthology I can count it as the first read even though I didn't reread it when I got this? Anywayyys so about the actual story.
I loved it, although that wasn't much of a surprise seeing that I'm a big fan of Kelly's other works. There's just something about her story telling and characters and writing that is so appealing to me. I will say, though, that the love interest wasn't my favourite of hers, not by a long shot. Nothing inherently wrong with him, I just wasn't a fan.
Overall, I give it a 4.25/5 ⭐.
2. Doubles Love by Ali Dean (Date read- May 28, 2018)
This was a really quick cute read and exactly what I was looking for in this dreadful reading slump that has hit me ever since my summer vacation started which is quite weird and the aforementioned reading slump is the worst I've ever had.
I've been unable to finish a book; I keep starting a book, maybe read a couple pages then get bored and start another and so on and this rarely ever happens to me. So a short story collection is perfect for this problem, I think. And this was a great short story that kept me, mostly, engaged from start to finish which cannot be said for a lot of the books I've started lately.
Granted, it wasn't the greatest piece of literature. Or really, if I'm being honest, original or not cliché. And the drama was a bit too much at times but like I said I liked it enough to want to know what happens even though it was pretty predictable. Oh God, I'm making it sound really bad, aren't I? But it's really cute and fluffy and I'm a sucker for girls playing sports and it was a great time.
Overall, I give it a 3.5/5 ⭐.
3. She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not by Kristin Kehoe (Date read - May 29, 2018)
Let me be the first to say that I didn't expect to be done with the next story in this anthology so soon but it gripped me and I was riveted the whole time I was reading it. Honestly I think this might be my favourite yet.
With that said, I have to mention that there were some statements or parts I didn't particularly agree with but I don't think that tainted my enjoyment of it too much. I liked the concept; it was cute and fun and made me want to read to find out what happens next. You know those stories that don't really have a part that's lagging at any point, this was one of them. Like the other stories in this anthology that I've read so far, it was predictable but that didn't really bother me that much.
Overall, I give it a 4.5/5 ⭐.
4. Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae (Date read - April 12, 2020)
I'm back to reading this anthology and particularly this one story that I stopped midway through 2 (!) years ago.
It was kind of slow for me the first time hence the temporary dnf but as a whole it's sweet and short. I do feel as if the ending was rather abrupt but it's a short story so I'm gonna let that pass.
Loved the characters and their super sweet interactions with eachother.
Overall, I'd give it a 3.25/5 ⭐.
5. Someone I used to know by Tessa Marie (Date read - April 13, 2020)
This was the most cliche and tropey thing I've read in a while and not particularly that well written either buuuut it was also a feel good quick read that I kind of enjoyed.
The characters were very 2 dimensional and mediocre but I love the summery vibes especially during this quarantine.
Overall, I'd give it a 2.75/5 ⭐.
Onto the final one! Drum rolls please...
6. Four letter words by Ginger Scott (Date read - 13 April, 2020)
So this was... different. It had more depth than the other more carefree lighthearted stories. It was a little messed up- the relationship dynamic- but I think it wrapped up quite nicely in the end.
Overall, I'd give it a 3/5 ⭐.
And with that I'm done this anthology (my first one!). It was a good introduction to anthologies but I don't think they're particularly my thing but I might occasionally read one that sparks my interest.
Get Lucky: A YA Anthology PG-PG13 I got this anthology because I like Kelly Oram and I'm glad I did because it introduced me to new authors
Doubles - Ali Dean (PG13) 3 stars Violence: none Language: <30, including 2 FBombs Sex: kissing, making out There's underage drinking, talking about premarital sex. I don't love books where teenagers behave like they think adults act. I didn't appreciate the language in this story, either.
She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not - Kristen Kehoe (PG) 4 stars Violence: none Language: <15, including deity Sex: some kissing Great story! I love the vulnerability of the H and h and how our wounded h grew to love and trust. I hated the rough language.
Stroke of Luck - Cassie Mae (PG) 3 stars Violence: none Langauge: 1? swear word Sex: some kisses Super tame and the plot is a little bit boring.
Someone I Used to Know - Tessa Marie 2 stars Violence: none Language: <20 Sex: some kissing Underage drinking, silly melodramatic teenage angst. Hard PASS
Four Letter Words - Ginger Scott (PG) 4 stars Violence: implied Language: <20, including deity Sex: a few kisses My emotions ran the gamut with this book. I was disgusted with the actions of both the h and H and their ridiculous codependency. Then, my eyes were opened! Good story.
This is a collection of YA romance novellas by a group of very talented authors. Unfortunately, it is not currently for sale on Amazon or anywhere else. Hopefully it will be offered again. It is well worth reading.
October 31, 2016 update:
I wrote each of the authors of this anthology for an update of its status.
Kristen Kehoe states that all the stories listed in this anthology are now being sold separately on Amazon by the various authors.
Ali Dean states: "The Get Lucky anthology was only available for a limited time. I'm releasing my novella from that anthology - Double Love - November 16. I believe the other authors have or will be releasing their novellas individually as well! Unfortunately you can't get it as a collection anymore."
November 15, 2016 update:
Cassie Mae states: "It was a group decision to be taken down after the first few months and some of the stories are now available on their own on Amazon. Mine will be given for free to anyone who asks for it."
Doubles Love by Ali Dean: ***** since I love everything Ali Dean writes this story was why I read the anthology and it was also my favorite story.
She loves Me, She loves me not by Kristen Kehoe. DNF I have never red anything from this author and I just couldn't get into the story
Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae DNF Another unknown author for me and another DNF
Someone I used to know by Tessa Marie DNF
Sixteen Kisses by Kelly Oram DNF
Four letter words by Ginger Scott ***** This was the great surprise in this Anthology.I have never read anything from the author before but after this story I will look up her other work.
So all in all 2 great 5 star stories in this 6 story anthology...the other four just weren't for me.
I bought it only for Kelly Oram's story but later I thought giving a chance to the rest of stories. So my ratings are:
3.5: Doubles Love by Ali Dean 3: She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not 3.5: Stroke of Luck by Cassie Mae 1: Someone I Used to Know by Tessa Marie 4: 16 Kisses by Kelly Oram 2.5: Four Letter Words by Ginger Scott
The story that really annoyed me was "Someone I Used to Know". I just wanted to stop reading the whole thing (so I was glad I read Kelly's story first and the other three). Luckily, I made it to the final but I don't quite understand why if a story is about teenagers, they had to be "dumb" or immature... I hate stereotypes and that story has lots of them.
This was cute...I loved reading all of these short stories. I especially liked the stories with the dual POVs (as I am a sucker for hearing the guys point of view too)....the other ones were cute too though
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Some of the stories would get a 5 star rating if they stood alone. I loved that in one sitting you could easily read a whole story! It was also a way to read several new authors. I will be reading more by most of them!
I rated it a 4 ☆ becausr that was about the average between stories!!! I read it backwards because Ginger Scott is my favorite!!! So five stars there and then Sixteen Kisses was 5☆ stinkin cute the rest were solid 4 and 3.5's!!! Loved the mix !!
