Apart from the tacky frame-story introductions by Cain, this is one helluva ride. It's an anthology-like collection of some of the best House Of Mystery stories. A great bunch of Writers and the artwork is amazing. A good read.

Ugh... you have to keep telling yourself “This was a different time! This was a different time!”
This book is terrible! And I can’t take Sergio Aragones art in this as anything serious! I know him most from the craziness of Mad Magazine!
The narrator is one of the worst that comics has ever conjured up! Ugh!

I’ve read better House of Mystery stories than some of the ones collected here, in one of these a suburban family’s son starts showing meta abilities and transforming in to a monster so his family lobotomizes him, that’s it. No mystery LMFAO
