From the publisher of the #1 Amazon bestselling A Timeless Romance Anthology series in Clean Romance.

Join three bestselling Regency Romance authors, Jennifer Moore, G.G. Vandagriff, and Nichole Van, for three new novellas in SPRING IN HYDE PARK:

A HAPPY ACCIDENT by Jennifer Moore. Jonathan Burles father has just died, making him the new Marquess of Spencer and the most sought after bachelor in London. An unfortunate accident leads to a forced marriage to Maryann Croft, a young woman who possesses no title, and an unexpected secret. With the unstable beginning to their marriage, finding love together seems impossible.

THE DISDAINFUL DUKE by G. G. Vandagriff. Lady Saphronia Huffington has always thought of herself as plain next to the beauty of her sister, Lady Lavinia. So when her sister becomes engaged to Lord Gilbert Caldwell and Saphronia is paired for wedding events with his brother, the granite-faced Duke of Mayfield, who is known to prefer beauties, she sharpens her wit. Thus begins a lengthy sparring contest during which the Duke realizes Saphronia is anything but plain.

AN INVISIBLE HEIRESS by Nichole Van. Miss Belle Heartstone has everything money can buy—houses, servants, carriages, clothing, jewels. A husband, however, is proving much harder to, ehr . . . purchase. Colin Radcliffe, the newly minted Marquess of Blake, is in desperate need of funds—preferably of the wife-free variety. When circumstances draw the two together, Blake might be the only man able to see beyond the Belle’s outer façade, and fall in love with the woman inside.

I'm going to say 4 stars overall because the last story was so wonderful!
I would recommend skipping the second story. I have liked GGV's other books but not this one.

A Happy Accident - Jennifer Moore 3.5 stars Sarah Zimmerman reads well.
Maryann is rescued from mud on a stormy night in Hyde Park, by Jonathon, the new Marquess of Spencer. A situation that her father takes advantage of to force their marriage. Now Jonathon thinks the worst of her. Well he does for a while. Circumstances contrive to make the whole situation as poorly timed as could be. But because they are both decent, kind-hearted people, they manage to muddle through the getting to know each other stages. Maryann has a secret that she wants to confess but holds back until she can be more sure of the stranger she married. There is a misunderstanding, but they did start as strangers, and his words of apology were sweetly said.

The Disdainful Duke - G. G. Vandagriff 1 star
This was OK but ultimately disappointing and not particularly romantic. At the start, the Duke is quite full of himself. His brother and her sister are in love, so they keep running into each other. The Duke has no plans to marry, but the more time he spends with Saphonia, the more he starts to think she would make 'someone' a perfect wife. There is a misunderstanding because the brother has been keeping a secret from the sisters. And I figured that was enough conflict for such a short novella. But the author decided to throw in a huge (violent) curve outta the blue. . SOoo months later we get the ILYs and HEA. but I didn't really care anymore.

An Invisible Heiress by Nichole Van 5 STARS!!!
I have wanted to read this author for ages. So happy that I started with this short story.
There is now a longer version of this story (Seeing Miss Heartstone) that I gather from reviews doesn't pack the same punch. I guess some stories are meant to be short and sweet.
This is one for those who love, love by correspondence.
When Belle, a wealthy young heiress, was 19 she asked a newly minted impoverished young Marquess to marry her. He did not respond as she expected or even as the reader expected.
But she took his words to heart and made a new life for herself, while secretly helping him in return.
Years later she is mid-twenties and still unmarried but deeply in love with the Marquess who doesn't remember her.
So there's the bitter sweetness of her unrequited love, but it isn't taken to extremes. There is no mention of mistresses or any women of any sort for the Marquess. Upon his return he is inundated by debutantes trying to trap him, but Belle herself is also constantly followed by fortune hunters (or gold-miners as she calls them). So I didn't feel any imbalance of power. In fact I loved both MCs. The big reveal was nicely done and the HEA comes with a grand gesture that melted my heart and brought poetic completion to the tale.
L.T.F., as she signs her letters to him is the heart of the story.

This is one of the new Timeless Regency Collection lines anthologies by Mirror Press which was a line that I hadn’t tried yet. I already always have enjoyed Mirror Press’ A Timeless Romance Anthology collections. They always are a collection of different invited bestselling authors I know or other authors I wonder what proverbial rock I have been living under that I hadn’t discovered them yet and that usually are quickly added to authors I follow. They always are clean secular romances that I don’t have to screen for graphic physical sensuality scenes. The A Timeless Romance Anthology collections always have been six novellas and the collections could be various literary genres (contemporary, historical, paranormal, etcetera…). The Timeless Regency Collection line is all Regency Era romance only with 3 twice as longer novellas. The six shorter novellas in the other line always have felt like complete story arcs and not short stories, but I also enjoyed the longer novellas that still cut all the extra exposition fat and left the refinement of wit, tighter drama, and more percentage of couple interaction that is possible when you have a less word count to fulfill. This title I have to say was my favorite so far of both lines!

A Happy Accident by Jennifer Moore

Ahhh! After reading this one I felt like the aforementioned above statement of what proverbial rock had I been hiding under that I hadn’t discover this Regency Era romance author. Being vague and non-spoilerish, this one definitely had me emotionally up and down. There is the incredible first meeting. Then bam the first conflict! Then before you wonder how that conflict is going to have a resolution, bam the hero suffers tragic news! Because of the incredible amazing man the hero Jonathan is *happy sigh* and the equaling shining character of the heroine Maryann, all is resolved eventually with a totally smitten in love hero left in the wake. Then because of the heroine’s SECRET causing the hero to misunderstand something, then bam smack the love struck hero’s heart is emotionally shredded like pulled barbeque pork. Then resolution again and swoony epic happily ever after. Two romantic conflicts/ barriers and resolutions in a novella with limited space. Loved it!!! I hope the heroine’s sister Jane and the hero’s best friend Archie have a future novella or full length romance novel together. There is a suspenseful mystery surrounding Jane’s past that would make a great future work.

The Disdainful Duke by G.G. Vandagriff

This was also my first time reading G.G. Vandagriff though many of her novels are on my to be read shelf by high recommendation How much I liked the hero Duke of Mayfield and his brother Lord Gilbert Cartwell was unfortunately affected by them being bookended on both sides by the heroes of A Happy Accident and The Invisible Heiress. Even though the hero Mayfield’s treatment of the heroine Lady Sophronia and Gilbert the brother’s treatment of Sophronia’s sister Lady Lavinia was not unheard of or indeed uncommon by gentlemen in Regency England, the two brothers seemed like utter pond scum next to the perfect superman book boyfriends of Jonathan in the prior novella title and especially Blake in the novella title that followed. As a 21rst American female reader they would have seemed like misogynistic pond scum no matter what anyways. I am not complaining here or being misandrist of the brothers. The brothers’ reprehensible behavior and actions becomes important to the plot.

The sisters Sophronia and Lavinia’s good character and response to the brothers’ treatment of them is what was the real center plot and made the journey really such great fun for this reader! These were strong, intelligent, and selfless women trying to make a difference in their world, while still caring for themselves. Kind and loving, but no doormats for men. Sophronia did not play any hard to get romantic entrapment games, but honestly held contempt for the person the Duke was without ever being rude. Seeing the Duke brought to his knees and his jaws dropped over and over during the story, by Sophronia authentically not being in awe of the hot looking wealthy Duke of Mayfield was so delicious and refreshing in a Regency romance. The sister Lavinia caring for herself and immediately without hesitation putting the gears of the machine of justice into action for the very next morning after finding out her fiancé’s deceitfulness, made me want to fist bump her through my Kindle. Like I said I am not being misandrist here of the brothers, but complimentary of heroines who are not the standard regency literary heroine fare. Of course there is a redemptive arc to the story where the brothers are brought to godly sorrow for sins and give final atonement for their actions. There is a conversion and growth to make then the perfectly matched husbands for the Huffington sisters.

The Invisible Heiress by Nicole Van

Like the other two authors this also was my first time reading Nicole Van. This novella blew my little Regency romance fan girl mind! The best one was saved for last! This one was my favorite of the anthology. I am not just following this author, but making her one of my favorite authors. After this I have purchased the first two novels in her House of Oak historical time travel series and have quickly grabbed at the chance to review next her latest full length novel Gladly Beyond.

This storyline was so engaging and suspenseful! The romantic connection was so indescribable! Soul to soul deep connection! Blake was ahhhh so incredible and changed Belle’s life and thus Belle changed his own life without him knowing. Belle was so ahead of her time and sometimes I wanted to cry when she cried at the seeming impossibilities and obstacles! Gahhhhhhhh! I was really at the edge of suspense how these two soulmates were ever possibly going to be together? The ending scene! Squeal!

Sensuality Content: Clean. Kisses only.

I love the Timeless Regency collections because there are 3 stories with a common theme but they're by 3 different authors. It's a way for me to find new authors.
I loved the first story--A HAPPY ACCIDENT by Jennifer Moore (one of my favorite authors). Marianne and Jonathan, who are basically strangers, are unexpectedly thrown into a marriage. They have to work through miscommunication on her part and hasty conclusions on his to find that they truly care for each other. I liked all of the characters in the story except Marianne's conniving parents.
THE DISDAINFUL DUKE by G. G. Vandagriff (she's a fairly new author to me) was a great example of not judging a book by it's cover. The Duke of Mayfield turned out not to be "granite-faced" after all and Lady Saphronia wasn't such the plain wallflower he first thought her to be. I liked their back and forth banter.
AN INVISIBLE HEIRESS by Nichole Van (she's a new author to me, this is the first story I've read by her) is a reversal of the usual Regency stories. Instead of the woman looking for a man with a title and money, Belle Heartstone already has all the money she'd ever need, but no husband. This story didn't go in the direction I thought it would. I thought Colin Radcliffe was going to accept her proposal of marriage and the rest of the story would be how they eventually fell in love. I was pleasantly surprised when he turned her down and she took something he said to heart and reconsidered some of the advice her father had given her before he died. I liked how strong and intelligent Belle was and that she didn't need a man to manage her finances for her.
All of these stories are clean with just chaste kisses.

This is the third book in the Timeless Regency collection and includes three novellas.

A Happy Accident by Jennifer Moore -- Jonathan Burles, Earl of Rensfield, was only trying to help the young woman, as any gentleman would, and for his kindness, he was forced into a marriage. Miss Maryann Croft was horrified when her father demanded that Lord Rensfield marry her. Jonathan had been attracted to Maryann, but now his anger and her secret may make love impossible.

Jennifer Moore is one of my favorite authors. I was so excited to see that she had written one of the novellas in this book! And, as with everything else she writes, I loved it! The characters, the setting, the story, the writing – all come together for a wonderful read.

The Disdainful Duke by G.G. Vandagriff -- Lady Saphronia Huffington’s sister is getting married. At engagement events, Saphronia continues to be paired with the Duke of Mayfield, the brother of her sister’s fiancé. The Duke is arrogant, rude and dismissive, but Saphronia can hold her own. The Duke is surprised by Saphronia and her complete lack of interest in him. She may be a lady worth getting to know.

The sparing between Saphronia and the Duke was so fun! I enjoyed seeing their feelings grow from disdain to love.

An Invisible Heiress by Nichole Van – Miss Arabella Heartstone (Belle) is financially independent. What she doesn’t have is a husband. So she studies the possibilities, and chooses Colin Radcliffe, the Marquess of Blake as the perfect candidate. He, however, does not agree, but gives her some advice that changes her life. Years later they meet again. This time the result may be different.

This story had me at the very beginning! I’ve never read a book by Nichole Van before, but after just a few pages, I knew I would be reading all of her books. The story was written so well! The author handled their years of separation perfectly. I felt like I really got to know the characters that way. I was also grateful to see the growth of the characters during those years. I was so interested to see what would happen when they saw each other again!

I love stories set in the regency time period. So, this series is a dream come true! This was another great book in the series, with three wonderful authors!

I was given a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

I think this is one of my favorite books for the month, and I have read a LOT of books this month. It's actually three books (novella size) in one, each by a different author. Regency romance is also one of my favorites so this book just made me happy.

Two of these authors are not new to me- I have read many books by them and I know how fantastic they are. Nichole Van is new to me. I know she has a series out that has done well but I haven't had a chance to read it yet but guess what? After reading her novella here (which I LOVED), I went right over to Amazon and picked up the first book in her House of Oak series. I hope I can get to it soon!

All three of these novellas are so good. They transported me to the regency era and I could easily imagine the clothing, the settings and the food. My heart had many smiles and romantic sighs. It was perfect. Love!

I received and ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Actually as I've mentioned before that I am biased towards this genre as It's one of my most favourite. Anything historical catches my eye and historical romances are on the top. This is a collection of one of the cutest short stories and each story manages to catch your attention. They were simple, short and sweet. Thus very good as quick read. I would very much love to read other novels written by these authors.

There were only three in this anthology and they were longer, which I really liked. The stories were fleshed out and fun to read!

The first one was by one of my favorite authors, Jennifer Moore, called A Happy Accident. Jonathan is trying to be a gentleman of honor and help a lady in a rainstorm, but ends up being forced to marry her! There might be a chance for them to find true happiness together, but misunderstandings keep getting in the way. A sweet and heartfelt romance.

The second one was by another favorite author, GG Vandagriff called The Disdainful Duke. GG's style of writing takes you right into the Regency period and the characters were cleverly written. I enjoyed seeing the Duke's eyes opened to Sophronia's true beauty within even though she challenged him at every turn. There were sparks flying everywhere! It was a fun journey to love.

The third one is by an author that I hadn't read before, Nichole Van, called An Invisible Heiress. I liked how she kept me on my toes with the way she wrote this love story. Miss Heartstone is a woman who has everything, except a husband. In her attempts to find one, she gets something much deeper. The blossoming love between these two was so engaging and kept me turning pages long after bedtime.

It has been a few days since I read this novella collection and I have forgotten many of the details of the stories.

I will write about my impressions and the feelings that I am left with after reading the stories.

I found this collection to be fun to read. I enjoyed each of the stories, but I am partial to the first, A Happy Accident. A true gentleman is caught in a web by a conniving father. Even under duress and unfavorable circumstances, happiness can be found.

Each of the stories were well written and I was surprised at the character development that was displayed in a shorter story. I highly recommend this collection to anyone and everyone who enjoys regency romance. The stories are clean!

Best novella of the three? The Invisible Heiress by Nicole Van. Why? It tells the tale of Belle (a modern-minded woman whose father brought her up to walk in his footsteps as a financial money-manager) and Colin (who transforms from not-quite-but-almost-male-chauvinist to appreciative business partner). All it takes is seven years of camouflage and disguise. But HEA triumphs!

First story 3 *, second story 2 *, third story 4 *

The first two stories suffer from ridiculous rushed plots. Everything happens too quickly and with too little effort. In the first story the leads fall in love about a month after being forced into marriage (a month in which the man spent 3 weeks apart from his wife and didn't write to her either, so they actually decide they're in love in a week or so). In the second one, the man is utterly set against marriage and the woman despises him, but again, a few weeks and one shocking event changes both their minds completely. In some authors' hands, those could become believable plots, but neither of these authors are that good. The characters' interactions lack depth or wit, and the emotional transitions from indifference or dislike to loving one another lack any believability. A snort of disbelief was my strongest reaction to either tale.

The third story, by contrast, is quite touching and very well written, but the ending, again, feels rushed. This is very unfortunate as the story up to that point was excellent and quite original. Both leads have depth, though we know the woman's viewpoint best, and the conflict keeping them apart is real, serious and something that arouses sympathy for both people.

Something that disturbed me about all three works was the viciousness all three men were capable of. In all of the stories there was at least one point where the man lambastes the woman quite heartlessly. He dislikes her or he's angry with her for some reason, so he gives her a vicious tongue-lashing that is disproportionate to the offense and blind to everything good and decent she's done. The things he says to her are more about his ego and pride than anything else, and yet the story deals with his outburst(s) as if they're nothing out of the ordinary, even for men who think of themselves as 'gentlemen'.

I don't see it that way. These men are being cruel, unfair and bitter, and they're shown saying things to a gentlewoman they wouldn't say to a servant. Yes, people often get angry and say things they shouldn't, especially when they're feeling disappointed, but there are usually lines we won't cross when we're speaking to strangers or people we'd normally try to protect (like children for us and gentlewomen for them), and these men are far over those lines.

Worse, only the second story shows the man thinking about his behavior, accurately accepting that he was at fault and regretting it before meeting the woman again and declaring his love. That recognition of fault is an important progression in moving from anger to apology to openness in love, and the author's skipping that step damages the reader's ability to believe these two people can learn to love one another. It's hard to do it when the author jumps straight from attack to being in love, and even harder when the author makes excuses for the man and sees no reason for him to be sorry. In the first story, another woman tells the female lead that his comments are hurtful just because he's a man, and excuses him by saying something like: "they just don't know how to phrase their suggestions tactfully." Her comment was especially jarring because the man was making personal attacks on the woman, not just offering badly phrased suggestions for improving her charity.

The author felt she'd handled that problem by having the woman decide afterward that the man was right: she was just acting Lady Bountiful with no real understanding of poor people's lives. Unlike the author, however, I don't think that the woman thinking he's right in one thing he said excuses his over-the-top rudeness or the fact that he deliberately attacked and insulted her.

That story also had the least believable elements of any of the three. First, the relationship trajectory, as their relationship leapt from dislike to love for almost no reason, and offered little evidence to support why they would have changed their minds so completely. It also had a secondary plot that was almost as bad, with the lead woman's sister moving from in love to out of love and back again, with dizzying speed and little justification for her choice to forgive him. Then there was the obligatory heroine's makeover with new clothing colors completely altering people's opinions of her appearance.

This is a romance trope that is quite overused and, to me, at least, says disappointing things about the author's creativity. What if a woman is actually plain and still worthy of being loved? There really aren't that many beautiful women around. Many of us have pretty faces or good-looking bodies, and even more of us are plain or even actively unattractive in features/form and yet have something lovely to offer the person who can see past the obvious. Why are romance authors so completely fixated on appearance? Probably because society is, and doubtless it's more fun to write and read about wealthy beautiful people wearing gorgeous clothes and living in astonishing mansions than about us ordinary folk...

Kisses-only Regency anthology. I enjoyed all these stories.

Story #1 by Jennifer Moore.
Maryann had a carriage accident in the rain & new marques
Jonathan stopped to assist. Next day her pushy sire declared
her compromised. A rocky start to wedded bliss. She secretly
visited her sister in a private institution. Sis was anxious
& 'not a lunatic.' He followed her and assumed his wife had
an OM.

Story #2 by G.G Vandagriff.
Lady Saphronia & beauty Lady Lavinia were raised by their
aunt and uncle who were eager to unload them via marriage.
Lavinia was engaged to the bro of "granite-faced" Duke of
Mayfield. The duke started to see opinionated "fragile
beauty" Lady S with 'fresh eyes.'

Story #3 by Nichole Van.
This short story eventually expanded into the novel "Seeing
Miss Heartstone." Heiress Belle anonymously fronted Colin
a loan. He moved to East Indies and w/ her guidance became
successful in business. They exchanged correspondence via
her solicitor. 7 years on, he returned to England. He wanted
to meet + thank his business advisor/ partner.

This is one of my favorite anthologies to date. It deserves five stars or more. This anthology contains three stories, each written by an experienced author. I liked that the stories were longer than in other anthologies. You got to know the characters a bit more, there was more time for them to fall in love, and yet the story didn't get bogged down.

The romance in each story was swoon worthy, yet clean (meaning no sex). Each story had a different plot and each character was different. This is important because I have read anthology collections before where it seemed every story was basically the same, just different names and different locales.

The story started out with a great story by Jennifer Moore (one of my favorite authors!). She tells the story of a forced marriage, where neither wants to marry but are found in a "compromising" situation . The romantic tension was great and I loved whole story.

G.G. Vandagriff wrote the next story, called "The Disdainful Duke." It's a classic story of two people who can't stand each other, eventually become friends and fall in love. I was rooting for this couple the whole time and they did not disappoint.

And last is a story by Nichole Van. This story was a page turner for me. The relationship of the characters spanned years and yet we read the whole story in a novella form, but I didn't feel like I missed out on anything. I loved our hero in this one! I loved that he encouraged our main character to be herself and become great.

If you love regency and clean romance, I highly, highly, highly recommend this anthology!!
I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review. And I honestly loved this collection.

A Happy Accident by Jennifer Moore

I hate to admit that this is my first anything that I have read by Ms. Moore.. And I am so disappointed in myself because GAAAAAH! Such a cute story!
Maryann was such a wonderful woman. I adored her. I wish we had gotten more of her sister but it's only a novella after all.. (BTW.. I think Jane and Archie should have a story or something together!!!)
I loved Jonathan. He was a sweetie! I liked watching him fall in love with Maryann through small everyday things and gestures.
Also don't start this at midnight because you won't stop til you finish... Haha! All in all this first novella definitely gets a 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Disdainful Duke by G.G Vandagriff

Hmm... I did enjoy this story but I wanted more. I hated Gilbert for a while and disliked the Duke a bit at first but they did grow on me and redeem themselves. Sophronia was wonderful! Her relationship with her sister Lavinia was the best part of the story. It reminded me of my sister and I very much. I wanted more romance between the Duke and Sophronia. It was kind of lackluster unfortunately. I was actually very shocked by what happens to Sophronia towards the end. Jeese a Lou!
I probably would give this novella 3.5 stars... ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

The Invisible Heiress by Nichole Van

Squeeeee! I LOVED this! Just adorable beyond words. Belle was such a sweet and awesome heroine! She face the story a very memorable beginning and from there I was captured completely! I loved the correspondence between Belle and Blake! I really liked the friendship they had before the love. To fall in love with your best friend? Dream! The ending scene in the hot air balloon? OHMAGOD! So sweet and SWOONY! *sigh* Definite FIVER ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just flat out enjoyed this whole book!

I loved this collection! I think they have done a great job with all of the Timeless Regency Collections thus far (this one and Autumn Masquerade have been my favorites). While the novellas all centered around a meeting in Hyde Park, they each had their own unique characters and plots. G. G. Vandagriff was the only author that I had read before.

I will forever be indebted to this collection for introducing me to Nichole Van. Her story, The Invisible Heiress, was so good that it kept me awake, forced me to reread all of my favorite parts (and there were quite a few), and then I was compelled to go online and order Nichole Van's other books. I just couldn't help myself! Having devoured all of those, Nichole Van has now moved to my mental list of authors that I "auto-buy." Please write more. Quickly!

After gushing about Nichole Van, I must say that I really enjoyed A Happy Accident by Jennifer Moore (scheming father, forced marriage) and The Disdainful Duke by G. G. Vandagriff (a couple thrown together by their siblings who are getting married).

This was a great collection, one that I have already read it again. If you like clean romances, or regency novels, this book is for you.

This is the 3rd Timeless Regency collection and I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. All three stories included in this collection were well written and well told. Each of the stories were engaging. I think The Invisible Heiress was my favorite. The conflict was new and fresh and I enjoyed both the characters. A Happy Accident put a nice spin on the forced marriage storyline. The Disdainful Duke wasn’t as memorable, but it was enjoyable all the same.

All were clean. All had fun romance.

This is a compilation of three books written by different authors all written around the area of Hyde Park. Each one is well written and unique. I loved the characters and the stories were interesting and paced well. One of them made me cry at the end. Sweet romance, clean language, and compelling stories. I only wished there were more of them.

These collections are some of my very favorite to read and this one was no exceptions. These three novellas were all amazingly well-written and they held my attention. It's fun that there's almost always a new-to-me author in these collections, I love finding new authors!

Jennifer Moore's A Happy Accident starts off the book right. Young Maryanne Croft is unexpectedly out in a rain storm when her carriage gets caught in the mud. Her servants are working feverishly to free it when Jonathon Burles happens upon her. He, being a gentleman, feels he must do something for the young woman, so he sends her servants for help and stays with her. Unfortunately, the servants do not return until the following morning and they are found in the carriage by the girl's father who insists that they must marry. I loved Maryanne's character in this book. She is just trying to go about her life and care for her sister, she isn't trying to trap anyone into marrying her. I love that Jonathon allows himself to be trapped into marrying and the way that they eventually settle into a normal for them routine. I loved the cute love story of these two!

Next up is The Disdainful Duke by G.G. Vandagriff. Lady Saphronia is happy that her younger sister, Lady Lavinia, is engaged to marry her love. She would love to not always be thrown in with the disdainful older brother of Lavinia's fiance, the Duke of Mayfield, he always seems to be looking down on her for something. I love the way that Lady Saphronia summons her wit and puts the Duke in his place time after time. I love the way the Duke eventually looks at her in a different light. Such a sigh worthy romance!

And last we have Nichole Van's An Invisible Heiress. Nichole Van is new to me, but I love the way she wrote this story!I loved Belle in this one. I loved the fact that she was so tired of her mother shoving eligible young men at her that she decided to research and choose one for her and then propose to him. I liked Blake some of the time. I thought that the way he refused her marriage proposal at first was sweet but I found it irritating that he constantly forgot who she was. He'd already been introduced to her before she proposed. Then later in the story he doesn't remember that she was the one who had proposed to him. It just didn't seem as though he really would have completely forgotten her all of those times. But I did love the story. Belle writing to him under an assumed name and identity and then having to reveal all. This one was really cute!

I was sent an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this collection of stories! The first one A Happy Accident was a story that has been done before. Johnathan and Maryann are forced to marry after an innocent but compromising situation. Johnathan is not happy about being forced to marry and on the day of his wedding finds out his father is gravely ill. He leaves immediately and is gone for 6 weeks with no word to his new bride. When he returns to London, he learns of the kindness of his bride to his staff and her willingness to be a part of his mourning the loss of his father. Johnathan soon discovers fate had delivered him the bride that he needed and wanted. There is only one problem Maryann has been keeping a secret. Will the secret destroy their marriages?
The next story The Disdanful Duke is about Sophrinia and as she calls him the granite faced duke. Lavinia, Sophrinia's younger sister is marrying the Duke's younger brother so Sophrinia has to spend more time than she would like in the Duke's presence. At first the Duke does not give Sophrinia a second thought but as he gets to know her he thinks about her more and more. Sophrinia faces near death after an accident at a horse race and the Duke realizes that she means more to him then he thought.
The last story The Invisible Heiress was about Belle and Lord Blake. The story starts out with Belle proposing to Lord Blake and him kindly refusing and telling her that she does not need to enter into a marriage of convince that she needs to learn to fly. This conversation changes her perspective and as a thank you she helps fund of business venture of Lord Blake's under the initial LTF. A seven year business relationship and friendship is started and Belle falls madly in love with Lord Blake. He does not know LTF is a women. Will he be able to forgive the deception and find his soul mate in his business partner?
I highly recommend this book!

SPRING IN HYDE PARK was another lovely addition to the Timeless Regency Collection line. With characters who pull on your heart, the well-presented historical setting, and swoon-worthy moments, these stories were enjoyable from beginning to end. Highly recommended to those who have enjoyed the other books in this line or enjoy historical romance.

A HAPPY ACCIDENT by Jennifer Moore: I loved this story! I loved how the friendship, respect, romance, and love develop between the two main characters. I loved the chivalry. I also loved the family feel of the story and the hero's best friend. I loved the sweet moments. A very satisfying story.

THE DISDAINFUL DUKE by G. G. Vandagriff: The characters in this story were very striking. I liked how they clashed and slowly warmed up to each other, even against their wishes. There were some fun aspects of the story as well that aren't common in stories like this that made this feel somewhat unique. Overall an enjoyable story.

AN INVISIBLE HEIRESS by Nichole Van: This is the first story I've read from this author and I'm planning on it not being the last. This was my favorite story out of this collection. From beginning to end it was perfect, fun, humorous, sweet, and swoon-worthy. And that ending!!! *sigh* LOVED it!!

In the end, was it what I wished for? Definitely! If you enjoy stories that make you laugh and sigh and feeling satisfied at the end with happily-ever-afters, then you'll enjoy this collection.

Spring in Hyde Park.

What a great collection of sweet, clean romance novellas.

A Happy Accident - Jennifer Moore
Sweet tale of a horrible misunderstanding that turned into a happily ever after. Maryann is kind and funny - I loved her wit! Even faced with difficulties, her sense of humor stays in tact. Jonathon is a a gem. Archie and Jane have more to tell, hopefully they'll get a chance. I really enjoyed this tale.

Disdainful Duke - GG Vandagriff
Another story where beginning prejudices can be strong and hard to dispel. My favorite thing about Sophronia was her unwillingness to marry someone she didn't love. I find her charity work very refreshing. The Duke was a bit of a puzzle. It was as if he wasn't inclined to tender emotion simply because he didn't understand it until someone pointed out he'd first have to love someone with his mind. Great read.

Invisible Heiress - Nicole Van
This may have been my favorite story of the bunch. Belle is plucky and intelligent. She's smart and capable and very rich. She's just happens to be very young...and a woman. Surely she must have a husband! So she sets or to find the perfect mate. Someone who is kind and smart... but who also needs her money. When she finds him and suggests a partnership, things don't go as she planned. And then she learns just how valuable she is as a person. This was a great story. I really just adored it. One of my favorite things was what the initials LTF stood for. Read the book and find out for yourself.

Thank you to the authors for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
