Me gustan los guarrerismos guarros, ya lo sabéis, y esta vez me apetecía leerlos brevemente así que cogí este libro de relatos eróticos BDSM para echarme unos calores sin leerme una historia entera. Además, me encantan los libros de relatos para descubrir nuevos autores.
Éste es una recopilación de relatos BDSM que se publicó para decirle a la gente que había historias mucho mejores que la del Grey y escritoras mucho mejores que la James. Y sí, es todo cierto, pero este libro de relatos es mayormente muy mñe . El único relato que merece la pena es el de Tiffany Reiz y encima ya lo había leído (es el 0.5 de sus Original Sinners). Algunos relatos no están mal y alguno es directamente una p**a mierda. El espacio es breve y el folletisco, mucho, así que os podéis imaginar.
Os lo recomiendo si os apetecen unos calores bajeriles rapiditos logrados con mayor o menor fortuna según el relato (o no logrados directamente).
Advertencia. No lo leáis todo seguido (que es lo que he hecho yo) si no queréis acabar saturadas. Y es que encima no es un libro breve!

Those are just to name two explosive reads. Yes ladies from very and I mean very, very personal assistant's going bad to getting naked in the school's music room these reads have any and every kind of character imaginable not to mention a whole lot of sexual scenarios that will leave you breathless, panting and begging for more!

I recommend this read for any lover of reading erotic reads, if you prefer the more sweet and sensual kind of romance and find the world of erotica too much to handle this read is not for you. But if like many woman you like to find a little inspiration or you are simply looking for something different and fresh after the 50 shades non vanilla sex reads, this is one for your keepers shelf. Some of the worlds best authors all in one read, simply spectacular!

You will not only be dreaming up new ways to satisfy your man, you will find the inspiration to go after what you have been secretly craving! Let the wild nights begin!

Submit to Desire - Tiffany Reisz - 3 Stars - Kingsly Edge, Charlotte Brand - I am very happy Charlotte at the end of this story though I will admit it was hardly a surprise.

Second Time Around - Portia De Costa - DNF - Willa, James - The quick and dirty of it is Willa annoyed me and so much so that I didn't even hang around long enough to get to know James. *DNF so no rating

Tempting the New Guy - Alegra Verde - DNF - Glory, Clement Johns, Bruce Davies - There is a whole lot of screwing going on but not much else. I'm only marginally interested in Clement and Glory and I don't really care about Alex or Bruce, the territorial bastard, at all. *DNF so no rating

Giving In - Alison Tyler - 4 Stars - Ellis, Stefan - Finally a story that captured my attention. I will admit it wasn't perfect some pacing issues and some relationship things that were just kind of glossed over but it was entertaining. And I read to be entertained. There were plenty of smoking hot scenes too.

What She Needs - Anne Calhoun - 3.5 Stars - Jack/John Underwood, Unnamed Woman - This was very interesting. The stream of consciousness from the wife was 80% entertaining and steamy and 20% annoying. I know she is an artist but that whole seeing color thing was just weird to me. But overall it was enjoyable and ends in a twist I didn't expect but really liked.

Vegas Heat - Lisa Renee Jones - DNF - Dante Ricci, Sonya Miller - I just can't bring myself to care. I'm getting the nothing from these characters and I think I'm just over this book altogether.


I'm ready to throw in the towel. I don't know if I'm just not in the mood or what but I'm truly not enjoying reading any of this so I'm going to DNF the whole things.

This is a book consisting of ten different stories by eight different authors and as such impossible to review as one book. In fact, I’m not even going to try. Below are my thoughts on each individual story as well as a separate rating for each of them. In the past, when reading an anthology, there would be at least one story that didn’t work for me at all; at least one that would let the rest of the collection down. How wonderful to find a collection in which every single novella worked for me. Granted, some worked better than others, but much to my delight none of them disappointed.

As the blurb suggests all of these novellas deal with Domination and submission in some form or another and all of them are explicit and sexy as my short descriptions and selected quotes will show.


Submit to Desire by Tiffany Reisz (5+)

Featuring the fabulous and oh so sexy Kingsley Edge from the “Original Sinners” books.

When Kingsley sees Charlie breathing fire in a club he makes her a proposition. He wants her to submit to him for one month during which he will train her for a client of his. New to BDSM, Charlie finds herself discovering a new world, filled with delights she never knew existed. The only problem is that by the time the month is over she has become so attached to Kingsley that submitting to another man, regardless of who he might be, seems impossible. What will Charlie do when she meets this mysterious client?

Filled with Tiffany Reisz’s trademark humour, sexiness and sparkling characters this story was exactly what I knew it would be; a pure delight and enticingly hot story.

Second Time Around by Portia Da Costa (5)

Willa meets her ex-husband James at a school reunion after they’ve been apart for three years. Things have changed though. The push-over Willa used to order around no longer exists. This new James is confident, and in total control. This new James makes Willa feel like an insecure teenager before they’ve even exchanged a word. The new James shows Willa that life and love will be better if she’ll just give up control and submit to him…at least some of the time.

A wonderful story about two people who were meant to be together but messed it up getting and taking their second chance.

Tempting the New Guy by Alegra Verde (3.5)

Story set in an office environment. Glory is being pursued by new guy Clement Johns while she already is having an affair with her boss, Bruce and has also been seeing Alex, a client of the company she works for. While this makes for lots of heated and steamy encounters it also made this a story I wasn’t quite sure what to make of. A well written story that didn’t really work for me.

Giving in by Alison Tyler (4.5)

Ellis is only weeks away from homelessness when her friend Sasha treats her to a trip to Venice where they will stay with Stefan, a very rich uncle of Sasha’s.
While Ellis expects a two week holiday before she has to return to her desperate situation in New York, she finds something completely different. Ellis is on a journey to a place where all her fantasies - all the sexy stories she has ever written, - are about to come true. Ellis can leave her troubles behind and enter a world filled with pleasure; a happily ever after story without an end.

What She Needs by Anne Calhoun (4.5)

When the narrator receives a phone call from Jack she drops what she’s doing and meets him. When they meet she does what Jack asks without question. Jack is in control and if the narrator follows his instructions he’ll bring her to the heights of passion. This is a wonderfully sweet yet very sexy story. The “revelation” at the end didn’t come as a surprise, but I don’t think it was supposed to. A thoroughly enjoyable read in which I really liked that Jack is a hero who doesn’t look like a stud.

Vegas Heat by Lisa Renee Jones (4)

Dante Ricci, rich entrepreneur planning to expand his empire in Las Vegas wants Sonya Miller, a highly ambitious corporate lawyer to work with him on this project. Contract negotiations and dinner lead to a rather unexpected game during which Dante demands Sonya’s trust and submission and the independent and always in control young woman learns that submitting has its own benefits.

“Give me control. I’ll be gentle”

A charming and sexy story although I can’t help feeling it would have been better if it had been longer, maybe even a full-length novel.

A Very Personal Assistant by Portia Da Costa (5)

Miranda Austin, corporate highflyer, feels drained and fed up after an especially difficult meeting. When her personal assistant Patrick Dove suggests taking a few hours out of their day to get away from it all, Miranda knows he doesn’t mean having a cup of coffee together. This is a wonderful collection of novellas. One that has given me hours of pure reading delight, reacquainted me with favourite authors and introduced me to what are sure to become new must read writers. A little slice of reading heaven!

ok, this book was good and bad at the same time. this book has like 10 short erotic stories in them! I like about 6 of them. the only reason i gave this book 4 stars is because of the 6 books that i liked.


each short story is about BDSM. it has different story points between men and woman becoming submissive. Some is love finding each other again, and some are the same old same old.

all in all this was a good book

10 shades of seduction will seduce you. The stories are very hot and steamy. Some of them I was disappointed by because the authors rushed the story or ending. I was so happy to get another fix of Tiffany Reisz Original Sinners series sorry but I love this series and especially Kingsley. If your not really into short stories like myself this book is not for you. If your looking for something hot this is for you beware no panties dry.

You know, if I had read the description of this book before reading it, I would have realized that it was 10 stories. Sure, to the average person, the whole "10" in 10 Shades of Seduction may have given it away but noooooo, not me! After the 4th story, as I would finish the next one, I'd think that it was the last one and then another one would be there! I have to say, it was kind of awesome! It always kind of sucks when a good book is ending and with this one, it just kept putting the end of the book further and further away! Yay!

Since there are 10 stories, it would be difficult to give a full review on each of them. So I'm just going to give my quick impression of the story and if I liked it or not:

Submit to Desire by Tiffany Reisz
This one was just okay for me. The characters in this story are from the authors "Original Sinners" series. The hero seemed hot but that's all I got from him. The heroine was so-so. I think fans of that series will LOVE this story. I didn't love it so much but the Sexy Time was pretty hot.

Second Time Around by Portia Da Costa
These characters felt a little more real. Of course, this story was based at a high school reunion, so of COURSE its more relatable! Willa and James didn't really seem like a great match until they got back together. Then, it was clear that they were kind of meant to be!

Tempting the New Guy by Alegra Verde
I couldn't connect to this story. I liked it well enough but it was just sex and nothing else. Also, it ended really abruptly. Great porn, not an awesome story.

Giving In by Alison Tyler
I loved Giving In. This could easily be a full length story (maybe it is!). The characters were really great, there was plenty of Sexy Time and a little romance. There was also some humor, which is always fun. It was a great story but it was also a bit of a fairy tale too. The setting was pretty cool for me since I've never been to Italy. Over all, this was one of my favorites.

What She Needs by Anne Calhoun
This one started off a little strange but as it progressed to the end, I totally got where it was going. It was hot and sweet. Funny thing - I'm not sure if I ever learned the female character's name! If I did, it was only said once because I couldn't find it when I went through it a second time! But Jack, the male character, is certainly a keeper!

Vegas Heat by Lisa Renee Jones
I was ready to dislike Vegas Heat since I haven't connected with this author's other work but I was pleasantly surprised! I really enjoyed Vegas Heat; it felt like a full-length novel with all of the filler cut out. Dante and Sonya were really hot together but my favorite part was the fact that Sonya had made herself into the success that she is through hard work and own her own merit. Great story!

A Very Personal Assistant by Portia Da Costa
Patrick and Miranda were really great together in A Very Personal Assistant. Here though, Patrick is the assistant to Miranda BUT in his private life, Patrick is something of a Dom. Gah! Too awesome! I loved the switch up of the power roles. And I'm guessing that Miranda kind of dug it as well! LOL!

Tied up & Twisted by Allison Tyler
Oooh now Tied Up & Twisted was a strange one. Well, maybe not strange but I wasn't sure who the lead male character was! There were two guys and one got creepier and creepier as the story went along. Hadley has been a Domme in the past but now... we'll you'll see. I liked this story but I thought it was a teensy bit overly dramatic.

Letting Go by Sarah McCarthy
This was another one of my favorite ones. Marc and Becky are a married couple on a weekend retreat. At first, it sounded like Marc and Becky were kind of having problems but after a few chapters, it was easy to see what was going on. Marc is another keeper!!!!

Forbidden Ritual by Saskia Walker
Forbidden Ritual was a little bit slower. This one was more sensual than sexual, especially in the beginning. But I love what Giles was able to do with Imogen, who has a really hard time letting go. I mean, truly letting go. I think a lot of us will be able to identify with Imogen. I liked this one but it wasn't one of my faves.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I feel like its well worth the money to purchase this one. Although all of the stories in the book have some kind of BDSM angle, there's still a wide variety of tales within. There's a little something for everyone in this book and I'd highly recommend it!

It was quite some time since I read an erotica title, so when I saw 10 Shades of Seduction featured on NetGalley I just couldn't pass the opportunity of reading a few steamy stories in the package of one! And this anthology has at least a story to appeal to every reader. There are stories of submission and secret fantasies coming to life or of lovers reconnecting. Stories about people getting to know a new lifestyle or how a couple can keep their sexual interest through unconventional ways. Suffice it to say that in this anthology you can at least find a story that will appeal to you.

Granted, there are some strong stories in here and some weaker. There are some really hot and others that are just meh. And then there are a couple of them that I really didn't care about. But in overall, in this anthology you get a decent assortment of stories that will entertain you. After all, we're talking about short stories here, so even if you don't particularly like one of them it will end before you'll even know it :)

I'm not a big fan of anthologies usually and that is because I believe that in short stories, there's no room for enough character or plot development. So yeah, all of those stories lack seriously in those departments. There's no character development and in most of them you get down on the dirty parts without no reason whatsoever, well apart from the obvious one :P. But, there are two stories in there that even if there's no real character development, at least the setting and their leading characters feel real. And those authors are whose work I will try in the future. And there are also a couple of real hot stories whose authors I will again try in the future for entirely different reasons :P

Verdict: 10 Shades of Seduction is a good erotica anthology with mostly interesting stories in there. If you're a fan of the genre and you like short and extremely hot stories then this is the read for you!

10 Shade of Seduction is an anthology of erotic books written by popular authors of the genre. Like most anthologies there were some strong stories and some not so strong stories but unfortunately for me there were more that I disliked than liked.

There were a few that were sweet and sexy whilst managing to be a good story. I really liked those ones and will read more from those authors.

There were some stories that were ok but didn’t quite make sense. There was no real purpose or point to them and I wondered why they were in the anthology.

And then there were some that I found horrible. There was a couple that really made me uncomfortable. I have no problem with BDSM or those types of relationships but both parties should know what they are getting into. I also hate it when the female (or male) in these relationships often feel humiliated by what they are doing. There were times where the male characters really hurt the female and were completely inconsiderate. I do not find that sexy. I like BDSM when it is about trust and exploration, about safety and care not when the male character has to constantly remind everyone that what he is doing is not rape, not when the woman is taken away and has no idea what she is getting into, not when the male does not practise safe sex when he has multiple partners.

10 Shades of Seduction had some good parts but it wasn’t enough for me.

This was a hot mix of ten erotic S&M style stories. Let's start from the top.

No tale of seduction would be complete without Tiffany Reisz. Submit to Desire stars her very own Kingsley Edge of the 'Original Sinners' fame, and it was by far the best story in this collection. Reisz writes quirky, sexy characters and intelligent, erotic stories. She is the queen of smut for the smart.
With your appetite appropriately stimulated, the collection continues with the hot mess of Second Time Around, Giving In, and What She Needs. Unfortunately from there, things felt a little... frustrating. The stories became strange, delving into some of the most bizarre, and slightly unbelievable, scenarios I've ever read. Vegas Heat and Tied Up and Twisted didn't hit the spot. But still a good collection.

Everyone have recently read some books about dom and sub stories that we fall in love with. This book has it all. We can read so many short stories with so many aspects to it. Each of the story unfold a desire or want that makes the story as whole. Th novel is a great read. Each of the author has put so much details that you will find yourselves laughing, happy, hot and bothered. None of the stories are the same. Each of it has a different story to tell that it makes it a fast read. You will not stop reading it from page one. I highly recommend the book. Plus, you will definitely get hot and heavy reading the sex scenes.

This book contains a collection of Erotic books written by popular authors. The book was fairly balanced as to selection and quality. Each story had merit in its own right. I would recommend not reading it straight through in one sitting. Each novella was well written and featured the elements of its genre. Represented were BDSM, vanilla sex, and multiple partner stories to name a few. As in any anthology, there will be stories and authors you connect to, and those that are not your favorites. i think this is a good representation of the genre.

Commanded and dominated from a whispered word or just a look, you’ll be pleasantly pleased because these authors know just what you need.

Need to remember that i'm not a fan of ... short stories? Not sure that i can hardly call them that since there was little or no character involvement other than in regard to sex. Was expecting more from the characters and some actual story development (even if briefly) but that didn't seem to be the case with this book. Not say that there was no plots driving the characters just disappointed in that there wasn't more.

I mainly got this book for Submit to Desire. So I'll only comment on that one. The French bastard was very present in this story as he trains the sassy Charlotte for her new master. There was a very brief Soren/Nora sighting that made me want more of them. I think as this was only a short story, details were skipped so I never truly connected to Charlotte.But I'll say Kingsley made it worth reading.

Despite the focus on BDSM, each story is very different in its own way, contributed not just to the plot but the feel of the authors writing. Only disappointment was minor plot errors, but their minor stature didn't highly affect the enjoyment of the story.

Every book is different, but all have an erotic theme.
The first book wasn't really my thing and some other ones would have been better with more details in them.
Some of them were very interesting, especially the last one about a writer from erotic stories getting to do her stories in real life finally.

I really enjoyed some stories and others were mediocre. My favourites were the stories by Tiffany Reisz and Alison Tyler! This shows many different kinds of this type of writing which is great. I also enjoy the happy endings where there is love or at least respect and trying for a commitment.

I really liked this book until I got to What She Needs. I struggled through that story and then the rest of the book was harder to read. Otherwise it was a great book.
