The visions aren’t stopping, and neither is the danger in this series conclusion from the New York Times bestselling author of the Wake trilogy.

After narrowly surviving two harrowing tragedies, Jules now fully understands the importance of the visions that she and those around her are experiencing. She’s convinced that if the vision curse passed from her to Sawyer after she saved him, then it must now have passed from Sawyer to one of the people he saved.

That means it’s up to Jules to figure out which of the school shooting survivors is now suffering from visions of another crisis. And once she realizes who it is, she has to convince that survivor that this isn’t all crazy—that the images are of something real. Something imminent.

As the danger escalates in this conclusion to the Visions series, Jules wonders if she’ll finally find out why and how this is happening—before it’s too late to prevent disaster.

Bahahaha this was an amazing conclusion to an amazing series. This entire series surprised the absolute hell out of me... I didn't expect to become to invested in the story and the characters. But there was a time in this book where I felt my heart physically break and I knew this series had me hooked.

It was so unexpectedly fantastic I won't ever get over it. Now, is it the best books ever to be written? No... but if you want something quick, fun, and gripping I would highly recommend this series!

4 Stars for Gasp: Visions, Book 3 (audiobook) by Lisa McMann read by Joy Osmanski.

Jules and Sawyer are still coming to terms with the shooting at the college and they are wondering if anyone else is going to have visions for telling another tragedy. There were so many people involved last time that this could have been passed on to. And if they do find them why would they believe that they can help with the visions and maybe prevent another disaster.

“We’re all in, baby,” he says. “Sink or swim.”

ah-maz-ing! A series that doesn't drag or get too confusing or add too many characters or any of the common pit-falls of a trilogy.

This series is stronger, funnier, and more heart-pounding tension and action in every story and every book. Because you are more invested and more in love with every character and every event.

I loved everyone, just as much as before! Amazing. I want to read the whole series again!

It's so heartbreaking to have to say goodbye to this series but at least I can do it with a smile on my face and knowing I wasn't let down.

GO SAWYER AND JULES. May you continue being awesome and continue to have many amazing adventures beyond this series.

What a stunningly beautiful conclusion to a magnificent series! I loved this one the best, since it was suspenseful, witty and just flat-out awesome. The best in the series.

description
The storyline was not very different from the previous books in this series. In this book, Jules and the gang were trying to stop a disaster from happening. I loved how they solved and prepared for the worst. It was a nail biting suspense.

I loved every scene, especially the ones followed the incidence. The ending was touching. I wish it wasn't over, but I'm more than happy with how the series was wrapped up.

description
Ugh, what should I start with this one? Because I loved every single one of them! Jules was hilarious, brave and smart. Sawyer was adorable! As for Trey, I loved him since the first scene he appeared and this book didn't change what I felt about him. I'm glad that Rowan more involved in the story than in the previous books. Just like her siblings, she got great humor and very courageous. I guess I liked the father more also. At least he tried to be a better father this time around.

This is the fourth book I've read written by Lisa McMann, and I cannot say I didn't enjoy any of them. Because I am in love with Ms. McMann's writing.

Like her other books I have read, this one was a page-turner. It was easy to lose myself in the story as it was fast-paced and extremely entertaining. It made me laugh because the humor was the kind I'm totally into. It made my heart melt because the romance (Jules+Sawyer & Trey+Ben) was sickeningly sweet. It made me sit on the edge of the seat because the suspense and the action were almost too much for me to handle.

One other thing I absolutely loved about this book was how everything was linked together. It was impressive and such a smart move.

description
Overall, it was mind-blowingly amazing. Not only this book (even in my opinion, it was the BEST), but the series as a whole was more than well-written. The characters, the storyline, the pace... everything was fantastic.
I loved that the well-balance between light, fluffy, humorous scenes and the emotional, heart-breaking, serious scenes.

description
It was a quick, fun and suspenseful read, so I guess those who enjoy reading this type of books might love this one. I can't find a reason why you shouldn't read this book because it was stunning to me.

If you haven't started this series yet, you shouldn't wait any longer.

Maybe not gasping, but for sure crash banged it out (Crash book 1, Bang book 2). I still can’t remember how I even came across this series but I ended up loving everything about it. I loved the plots and subplots, I loved the characters, I loved the evolution and progression and I even loved the length of the books (not too much, not too little). This last installment plays out a tad different than the first 2 but it was just as enjoyable with the additional characters involvement and the tiny bit of romance splashed in to keep my heart happy. Check out the series if you are looking for something, entertaining, fun and diverse.

Decidedly the best of the series. I think that has a great deal to do with there being a lot less family drama despite or perhaps because of the fire. I liked how there was some more complete exploration of how the visions could affect someone, and that the author answered the question of what happens when you do nothing. I could have done without the sexy time it really added nothing to the story or the characters. I also loved Bridget and I am rather annoyed that the best character did not get her own story. I also liked how the author wrapped it up. On the whole 3.5 and I'll be generous and round up.

I absolutely adored the first two books in this trilogy, Crash & Bang; I gave both 5-star ratings. I loved the whole vision concept and how quirky the characters were. I even appreciated how the author was able to tell such a great story in so few pages. These books could easily be read in a day.
I loved the first two books and was quite excited when I found out that this title was available at my library. So, you can imagine how much it pains me to give this book such a low rating.

My Rating: 2.5 stars
Even with this book being as short as it was, it somehow started to drag in the middle, and those characters that I once adored started to annoy me :(

Gasp picks up about a week from where Bang left off. After saving the students in what would've been a massive school shooting at the University of Chicago campus, Trey, Jules, and Sawyer now have to find out who's the next person to receive the "vision curse." The curse seems to affect the people heavily involved in the incident. In this case, they'll have to find which victim of the school shooting has started having visions. After finding out who that person is, they"ll have to stop the vision from occurring in order to save some lives.

Now for the characters. Jules DeMarco, I adored her personality in the first two books and even enjoyed watching the banter between her and her two siblings. But in this book, her mannerisms really annoyed me. I don't know. The antics that I found funny in the previous books got on my nerves this time around. I used to love the corny jokes told between her and her siblings, but this time, I just wanted them to get down to business. I know that this is a YA book, but the humor just felt really immature. But, I will say that I found Jules and Sawyer's relationship to be very cute. It's funny remembering how much he "hated" her in the first book and how she was so in love with him back then, it's nice to see him finally reciprocate those feelings.

And as for Trey, I was so happy that he finally found someone. After reading Bang and seeing how lonely he felt, I was hoping he would find love. Trey and Ben were adorable! I don't really have too much of an opinion on anyone else. Rowan didn't really stand out to me, she was just...there I think I've pretty much had the same opinion of her for three books straight. Though I will say, I really hated the way Jules treated Tori. I think she was being a tad bit unfair towards her. Does she not remember that Sawyer asked her in the last book what if he just left the vision alone?

Gasp was an okay story, but I couldn't get over the little things that irked me. And I can't quite explain it, but I thought the incident would be a lot bigger this time around, more risks involved. The first time Jules had to stop a truck from plowing into the window of a restaurant, and the second time Jules and Sawyer had to stop a school shooting. I'm not saying this incident wasn't bad, but I thought it would've been on a bigger scale. I wanted the odds to seem like they were against them and yet, somehow, they still pull through.

Overall, I thought this was an okay series. I was disappointed with this last book, but I will definitely read more from this author. I think I will have to try out her Wake trilogy next!

The last book to Lisa McMann’s Vision series finds our young heroes struggling to find the next heir to the curse. The curse that started with Jules, that she consequently passed on to Sawyer when she saved him from imminent death. While they saved a number of students from a school shooting, Jules knew that somehow, someone must have inherited the vision curse.

When they eventually find the unfortunate carrier, their efforts to stave off a fatal disaster were met with strong opposition. So much so, that they were not able to prevent the tragedy from happening. Jules was not impressed, and a little pissed at the person who didn’t try harder to save those who died. Redemption comes in the form of another tragedy, however. Jules and the gang are determined to save lives. This time, they’re even more prepared; well-researched, and very hopeful that they could at least minimize the number of deaths. But would it be enough?

At home, the Demarco family suffered a tragedy and a blessing at the same time. Without divulging too much information, they will be given a chance at new beginnings. Jules hopes that their dad doesn’t fall back to the same abyss of depression that incites a need to hoard things. Meanwhile, her relationship with Sawyer remains strong; Trey has found a boyfriend in Ben, and Rowan’s on-line relationship with Charlie seems to be unstoppable. All in all, personal and family life is infinitely getting better. Another reason why I didn’t mind this series coming to an end. I knew that these kids are going to be just fine.

Lisa is very adept in writing an eventful book packaged slightly thinner than your average novel, which, admittedly is what I like about her YA series. They tend to be fast reads; and yet the reader would be not left unsatisfied that something was missed, nor would they suffer from a case of the whiplash. In this book, not only did they have to deal with one disaster, but three. ; plus the other two disasters which I would leave for you to read. This time around, Jules and Sawyer has the help of Trey, Ben and Rowan; which makes for an almost smoother sleuthing for our heroes. All in all, everything that I’ve come to enjoy about these novels were amped up in the third book. It’s funnier, sweeter, and more suspenseful.

(Disclosure: I bought the bind up version of the Visions trilogy so instead of putting Visions as my to be read book, I counted each book as if it weren't in a bind up, hence why I'm reviewing three books instead of one.)

This is definitely a good ending to the series. I offered closure that I was happy with. No ambiguous ending that will result in lots of fanfiction. It was clear and to the point.

Gasp to me, was the best out of the trilogy. The stakes were high in this book. Literally, near the end, I was hoping this would have a good ending. I've read this in less than a day. That's how invested I was in the story. The good thing about the Visions trilogy is that it's quick and easy to read. You can breeze by one of the books in a day and read the next one soon.

A decent trilogy. While it has its flaws, I did enjoy my time read thing them.

Thanks for reading my review!

A very satisfying end to a series. No loose ends, no big messes, and what appears to be a HEA. I couldn't ask for more from such a quick YA read.

first off, it was fun seeing ben, (the fil-am paired with trey) as part of this group and i love how the siblings get more solid after everything that happened to them, their family, their business.

this book also showed jules' relationship with her dad and how he realized all the wrongs that he had done.

and most of all, sawyer and jules as a pair, showed that theirs is one for long term.

had a fun time reading this trilogy. if you are into visions, suspense, siblings and family relationship, plus a good romance on the side, this one's for you.

I'm glad I decided to read this trilogy. Because I have enjoyed it. The books are short and easy to read. They are fun and exciting. A bit weird at times, but also adorable. I enjoyed Gasp the most, but didn't fully love it, which is why it is a four star read for me. Despite not fully loving it, I did enjoy it a lot :)

First I want to start by talking about those gorgeous covers. All three are stunning. And I'm glad I own these books. Sigh. They are just so pretty, hih. And the eyes are gorgeous. Then there is the writing. I didn't have an issue with it in this book. Which made me happy. I found it to be more fun and easier to read.

I love that these books are told from the point of view of Jules. As I still adore her. She's silly and smart and kind. I do love her. And her crazy family, lol. Trey is still just all kinds of amazing. I love him and Ben together. Swoon. They are so cute, hih. And I do adore Rowan as well. Though I would have loved to get to see her boyfriend being there. Loved reading about him, though.

There is just so much in this book yet so little at the same time. It is a fast read and an exciting one. We see more of the vision thing. Learn more details about it, which I liked. Though I still don't get why Jules is so obsessed with having to solve it all, hih. But I also understand her a little. Maybe. Anyway. It was very interesting to read about, yet also a little silly, but I liked it. And I did like getting to know a few more characters. Like Tori. Fine, I didn't like her much, lol, but she was interesting to read about.

I do think that Gasp was an amazing book. And I did enjoy it a lot. And I thought this was a great trilogy. And I cannot wait to read more books by Lisa. <3 As she is awesome. And I suggest that you all read this trilogy. And if you have read book one and two, then you must hurry and pick up Gasp right away. Because it is worth it. I'm glad I read the books. As they were fun. And interesting. And exciting. And sweet and sad and heartbreaking and weird and silly. I did enjoy them all. Honest. So go read them :)

I just. I'm giving this book a four start because I felt like it ended too soon. There is still so much I want and need to know. So this will be a little spoilery, sorry about that. But yess. I need to know what happens with the restaurant. I need to know what happens with Sawyer's family. Do they ever get better? Do the family drama stop? I need to know. ACK. lol. And then the sexy times. There are a lot. And so awkward and hot. Yet they never have sex. Which bothered me. It was leading up to it, but it never happened. Sniffs. Okay, fine, it isn't that awful that it didn't happen. But I wanted to know that it did.

i am having a hard time coming up with things to say about GASP. i'm in that post-book haze where i still feel like i'm living in the characters' world, but everything has come to a halt. while the longest VISIONS book to date, GASP felt no longer than the other installments and kept me just as hooked, maybe even more so than the others.

if there's one reason for you to read the VISIONS books, or anything by mcmann for that matter, it's to experience mcmann's enthralling tension and suspense. her books are short thrill rides that are almost literally impossible to put down once you start them. it's this type of reading experience that i crave, and this exact reason that i always come back to mcmann. that, and the fact that her characters are always entertaining and fun, always equipped with witty one-liners and silly, goofy personality traits.

GASP's suspense built from page one and didn't let go until the very last. even after the climax occurred, which was in my opinion mcmann's strongest yet, the tension was still there; it still kept me glued to the pages, until the very last one was turned.

also, can i take a moment to thank the wonderful cover designers of this series for their captivating work? i find myself staring at the cover while trying to write this, which isn't really helping me. it's just ... so ... beautiful!

mcmann has some beautiful prose moments in here -- the ending in particular struck me as magnificent. most of the book is written in tense, tight prose, but there are much-appreciated flowery moments here and there that add so much beauty to the work. while the writing was mostly simple, it was never debilitating, and it created much of the tension i felt while reading.

my heart is still pounding, even while writing this. i must admit, i'm a bit sad to see jules's adventures coming to a close, especially since the series was originally pitched as a quartet, but the story wrapped up beautifully and i know mcmann has other books to get onto writing (all of which i will be reading in the future).

This past week, I read a book called Gasp by Lisa McMann. It is the third and final book in the crash series. The major characters are Ben, Sawyer, Trey, Tori, Jules, and Rowan. After surviving 2 other vision disasters, they track down the victims of the last one and find that one of them, Tori is having a vision. Tori got very hurt from the last accident. She got shot in the stomach, and was unable to walk. Tori's over protective mom stayed in the hospital room day and night with her. She never left. Tori was barely able to contact Jules so they could prevent this vision from happening. It was too late, the vision she had happened and Jules and Sawyer weren't the hero's this time. Jules blamed herself, but it was really Tori's moms fault. Her mom kicked them out of the hospital room because she thought they were lying. When Sawyer, Trey, and Jules brought the news paper to the hospital room, Tori's mom finally realized they weren't lying. Tori started to having another vision. This time it was of a ferry sinking, causing many people to drown. Tori's mom butted out, and Tori gave them all of the information they needed. They prevented this accident from happening, nearly all drowning and dying.

I enjoyed this book a lot. What I liked about it was, that they all survived in the end. I was unsure if they were going to. I did not like the ending. I feel like the author should have included more in the ending. He left you on a wondering note with not another book in the series to read. I would not change anything in this book.

Other teens would very much enjoy this book. If you like being on the edge of your seat 24/7, this is definitely the series for you. If you enjoy romance, mystery, or drama this is also the book for you.

A perfect end to this trilogy! It’s hard to go into detail on the third book in a series, especially in one that hasn’t been highly read (yet, hopefully), but I’ll say it will absolutely leave you satisfied. All the loveable characters are back – Jules, the narrator, is hilarious, someone I would definitely want to be best friends with in real life; her boyfriend, Sawyer, is a sweetheart and always there for her; her brother and sister are just as interesting and entertaining. There’s two glorious, wonderful ships that make my heart sing and are free of unnecessary drama. The plot is fast-paced and exciting. Each book centers around a vision that one character experiences over and over again. Jules and her crew have to work together to figure out what it is that person is seeing and then stop the terrible accident before it happens. Watching how it all comes together is nothing short of thrilling. A highly recommended series if you haven’t yet started it!

This was wow!
This is the third and final book in the visions trilogy or series?
I had tons of fun with this series and grew attached to the characters! Even though I didn't like all of them when I read the first book I grew to love them and worry about them. All the characters had good development from the first book to this last one. They all grew and we kept getting more characters! Always fun!! Hehe
I also loved the humor. Lisa McMann has one of the funniest writing styles! You can always tell it's her writing! All of her books have this feel, but the characters are all unique and funny in their own way!
So the first book is Crash. It's about this girl named Jules who starts seeing and snow plow crashing into her crushes family's restaurant. She starts seeing it everywhere from TV screens to billboards. She realizes that she has to figure out a way to stop it from happening.
So yeah these books were great and fun an light!( No crying)!
I just have to say loved the ending!!! Hope she makes a spin off!

The story was fine as a standalone, but as the finale in a trilogy, you would think the focus would have been a lot more about the mythology behind the visions themselves. That was resolved, sorta, shoved in at the end of the book, and I wish we had seen more. It's not exactly a great ending to a series, IMO. Still, as usual, great characters, I loved seeing Trey and Ben happy, as well as Sawyer and Jules. Bridget was a hoot, and I wish we had more of her in the story. I also really wish Jules' dad played a larger role, again, his story was mostly shoved to the end of the book, but I'm pretty content with the resolution he ultimately got.

I read the first two books in this series when they came out and was a little worried I wouldn't be able to get into this last book in the trilogy after all this time. However, the long wait did not hinder my enjoyment. The book quickly reminds the reader what happened in the first two books over the beginning chapters. Then the rest of the book reads like a house on fire. I was glued to the pages and read the book over the course of an afternoon. I love the characters in this series and it's just a fun premise with some serious bits and lots of action. There's also a funny side and I loved the ending. Great conclusion to a great trilogy!

Amazing ending to this series!! I was wondering how it was going to end seeing how the series was built but the author did a wonderful job of it. (And no it didn't really take me a month and a half to read it. I left home for a few weeks and left it there!) I really enjoyed these characters and their adventures. There could've been a forth book that ended it but I love that the author chose to not do that to us.
I recommend this book to lovers of young adult fiction and anyone who enjoys suspense type books!

It took me a while to get into this, but it was me, not the book—I couldn't handle the tragedy of it all at the time. But this ended up being my favorite of the series! McMann's characters are always so cute and their dialogue really natural. Even though she always writes in present tense (both third and first person, which I am NOT a fan of), I'll keep reading her books. Because she ALWAYS delivers.

Everything I loved about the first two books was missing in this book. Rowan was just there this time without all her plotting she seemed flatline. The vision this time really had no connection to either family. Jules came across bitchy at time and whiny at other times. The circumstances around tragic events involving her family wasn't necessary. This book ends the trio but I still have questions.

A very satisfying read that ended the Visions trilogy. New visions, new characters, new ways to solve the enigma of saving people. This is one series that I was able to enjoy each book without boredom or feeling like it was all repetitive.

I loved that it ended by tying up all loose ends, so I was able to put this series aside, complete, and feeling totally satisfied.

McMann's conclusion of the Vision series is extremely satisfying and enjoyable.

I particularly like the way McMann writes. Her structure, vocabulary, pacing and characterizations are most satisfying. The plot and story lines are engaging. And I found the ending to be logical and believable.
