Toda esta saga de Franck Sharko me encantó.

Un coup de Coeur
Qui peut dire que les romans sont que pour passer le temps sans aucune valeur ajoutée, les romans de Franck Thilliez ont montré qu un roman peut beaucoup ajouter.

une histoire extraordinaire et contient beaucoup de détails bien structurés pour former le Puzzle et éclaircir cette histoire mystérieuse et plein de suspens.

Une jeune biologiste intéressée par la biologie évolutive et elle a menée trop de recherche afin de savoir l originalité de la criminalité depuis l histoire mais malheureusement elle s est trouvé torturée par un singe.

UNE AVENTURE FIEVREUSE ET CAPTIVANTE, un ensemble des informations scientifiques concernant la Biologie évolutive et génétique simplifiés et présenté au lecteurs au fils des événements sans ennui ou répétition, dans un rythme vraiment captivant ou chaque piste donne une nouvelle pièce de puzzle et la vérité commence à se clarifier et le secret de GATACA Enfin devenu bien présenté et expliqué au lecteurs, avec tant d atrocité des expériences scientifiques sur les humains et tant de secret des molécule d ADN se cache l existence et la vérité de GATACA.

l idée de roman est très intelligente et émouvante et traduit une intelligence et une imagination hors paire de écrivain.

Le Drame qui a submergé la vie de Luci Hannebel et qui m a choqué au vrai sens du mot sa perte était énorme je ne peux plus meme pas l imaginer et c est la plus grande phobie pour chaque maman. Que dieu protège tous les enfants du monde.

Meritoria continuación y conclusión a la historia iniciada con el libro "El Syndrome E". Confieso que "Gataca" me ha gustado un poco más, pero ambas son novelas notables, que conforman un díptico analítico (novelado, claro) sobre la violencia tremendamente adictivo. Recomiendo sin duda la lectura de ambas novelas, y a poder ser en escrupuloso orden cronológico. Si te lees la primera corres a por la segunda. Palabra.

En el "El Syndrome E" se tejió una apasionante historia que pivotaba sobre la violencia en un sentido más externo; con una proyección más social y colectiva, a gran escala y con aplicaciones militares y bélicas. En cambio, con "Gataca", nos adentramos en la violencia interna, endógena, yendo a sus raíces, a su origen. Un libro que aborda la dimensión criminal de llevar a la práctica ideas eugenésicas y demás tesis vinculadas al darwinismo social.

Me encanta como Thilliez, sin renunciar a entretenernos, así como a estremecernos con la sucesión de escenarios macabros y revelaciones atroces, introduce siempre (a modo de marca personal), valiéndose de la ciencia, distintas disciplinas y postulados científicos que enriquecen al consabido asesinato y subsiguiente caso policiaco. En este volumen se citan varias ramas del saber: genética evolutiva, biología, ginecología, antropología y paleontología.

Todas ellas están perfectamente integradas en la estructura de una novela negra envolvente y trepidante. ¿Y cómo se hace esto? En realidad ni idea, hay que leer el libro para verlo. Pura empiria lectora. No os arrepentiréis. Así que ya sabéis: ¿os gusta la ciencia? ¿os gustan los asesinatos difícilmente resolubles y los giros inesperados? Pues aquí tenéis un cóctel suculento.

Los personajes, como acostumbra el autor francés, funcionando a la perfección. Muy bien engrasados. Sharko y Hennebelle tiene mucha química. Un poco forzados en sus traumas y tormentos, sí, pero son una pareja ganadora.

Gataca es un libro que me ha fascinado y conquistado por completo. Va a ser muy difícil superar esta novela y se ha convertido en mi favorita de la saga. Habla de temas tan fascinantes como La Evolución, la secuencia del ADN, la memoria genética y la violencia. Un thriller muy oscuro y con unos giros sorpresa difíciles de superar. Una maravilla.

ecxcelente. espectacular... no tengo forma de comenzar con este libro... me encantó! no hay más!
Franck sharko se supera sin duda con cada libro. Estamos claros que el anterior queda inconcluso con algo que ocurre al final, y que éste lo continúa... con otros casos en los que lucie y sharko se internan para investigar. 5 crínenes que se conectan de una forma increíble, y que tiene su origen desde hace 30.000 años.
Para empezar tenemos que contextualizar. el libro tiene mucha, mucha investigación, y en la trama policiaca se combinan las ramas de la biología evolutiva, la genética, la antropología... para dar respuesta a lo que ocurre con los casos de este libro: ataque a una familia de neandertales por un cromañón como primer punto; después, cómo es que un padre aparece asesinado en vincenes, o de cómo es que una estudiante de biología aparece muerta dentro de la jaula de un chimpancé... y algo que conecta el punto emocional de la detective: Gregory carnot, asesino de niños, encontrado muerto... leyendo la novela, nos damos cuenta que carnot fue el que asesinó a sus hijas gemelas Clara y Juliette... porque sí, aparecen las dos muertas, dándote a entender que es sólo clara, porque Juliette parecía estar viva... pero no, tamién la carbonizó
Y por sorprendente que parezca, me preguntaba: cómo diablos pretende combinar estos crímenes con el cromañón? pero, así ocurre.
el libro me encantó además, porque todas esas explicaciones científicas que rodearon la trama las entendí perfectamente, ya que mi fuerte es la biología y sus ramas derivadas, por lo que puedo decir que todas las teorías y los detalles acerca del ADN, la evolución natural y todo lo mencionado son ciertos, el autor pudo documentarse bastante bien, claro que con unos datitos que desconocía, pero lo sorprendente es cómo lo supo hilar todo con los casos principales es donde tú te sorprendes bastante; por cierto, al final del mismo el autor nos da algunos libros de los que se basó para investigar sobre el tema para hacer su novela, lo cual es de agradecer, así como unos datos ffinales.
En verdad, recomiendo muchísimo este libro, aunque haya partes en las que los que son de corazón sensible pueden llorar, en especial para las que son madres, pero que eso no las detenga por favor, porque se estarán perdiendo de una gran joya final. si quieren saber por qué lo digo, aventúrense con la bilogía desde el libro "síndrome E", o si no les importa, lean el spoiler que enredé en esta misma review.

Nunca he sido un gran fan de la novela policíaca, pero tenía que leer este libro para el instituto y bueno, iba a con la mente abierta, dispuesto a que me gustara (si estaba a la altura, claro).
Pero me he encontrado con una historia terriblemente aburrida, lenta, y que no me intrigaba ni conseguía despertar mi interés. Creo que sólo me ha sorprendido una cosa de toda la novela, y precisamente no era nada relacionado con la trama del crimen.
Los diálogos eran la cosa más absurda que he leído en mi vida: forzados, innecesarios, o forzados e innecesarios. Cuando algunos personajes hablaban parecía que estaban dando una clase de biología. Entiendo que sean necesarios este tipo de conversaciones para entender la trama, pero deberían haber sido llevados de otra forma. No sé, no eran creíbles, no eran naturales.
La trama de los dos protagonistas tampoco me ha apasionado. Como este libro es de una "saga" quizás la hubiese disfrutado más si hubiera leído los anteriores, no sé. De todas formas me ha parecido una relación predecible y aburrida. Tampoco me ha impresionado el libro ahí.
En fin, un libro más. Terriblemente largo para lo aburrido que es, eso sí. No lo recomendaría, pero tampoco es completamente infumable.

Un auténtico thriller con un ritmo imparable. Desde el principio no paran de suceder cosas y hay giros de trama que me han dejado sin palabras.
Este autor no deja de sorprenderme. Seguiré leyendo esta serie y todo lo que publique, muy pronto.

I prefered this book to the first one and by far. First, because I've learned a lot of things on genetic - thank you to the meticulous research done by the author and his real gift to vulgarise complex concepts - then, because I loved to meet again with Lucie and Franck and last because the rythm never faltered and I love that!

We find again Lucie and Franck who succeed once again in drawing their strength from their weaknesses and their rage to lead to end their investigation. I am very surprised by the accuracy of Lucy's portrait, knowing that the author is a man. Some of the questions that Lucie arises seemed legitimate. The author obviously has a good understanding of the female psyche! As for Frank, I was sorry to see him in an even more pitiable condition than in Syndrome [E] (yes, it's possible!) His redemption goes through his support to Lucy. In short, very realistic and well-written characters.

Another strong point of the novel is the fierce struggle of a cop to bring down Frank. Honestly, there was a moment - or two - where I really wanted to hit him! The relationships between the characters are so well written that when that cop lashes out at Franck, we believe it, we're experiencing it and we are not happy!

Regarding the story, I loved it! What I like in a good thriller is that the explanation is plausible, credible and intelligible. Here, the three qualities are present. Thilliez explains genetics in a clear and understandable way, and the facts are proven. So - in my opinion - it's a guarantee of quality. And then - again in that story - we travel, this time in Brazil. That's when I thought that the author does not fancy heat! Whether in Egypt for the previous volume or here in Brazil, its painful description of the heat makes me think he prefers colder temperatures. But hats off to the way he made me feel sweaty!

The pace of this novel is intense, it's a race to find a group of individuals who show a violence that wasn't seen since Cro-magnon and the mastermind behind it all. Each track leads to a (bad) surprise and drags them along, taking us with them in an investigation as dangerous as scientific.

Cuốn này hay hơn Hội chứng E. Điểm thú vị là đọc phần lời của tác giả nói rằng muốn tìm hiểu về sự lan truyền của bạo lực, ở Hội chứng E là sự bạo lực lan truyền theo chiều ngang, không gian. Nhưng cuốn này, bạo lực lan truyền theo chiều dọc, thời gian, di truyền từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác. Những phát hiện của thanh tra về yếu tố di truyền học, về sự thật kinh hoàng đằng sau mã gen di truyền có liên quan đến kịch động bạo lực tiềm ẩn khiến mình nổi da gà. Câu chuyện đáng sợ như vậy đấy.

Nỗi đau của Lucie nối tiếp từ cuốn Hội chứng E đã khiến Lucie rời bỏ ngành cảnh sát. Nhưng không ngờ rằng bí ẩn đằng sau nỗi đau đó lại có liên quan tới một vụ án do khỉ tấn công mà Franck phụ trách điều tra. Tưởng mọi thứ hoàn toàn riêng rẽ nhưng khi cả hai cùng gặp nhau và phát hiện ra sự dính líu của nhau ở cùng một hiện trường án mạng, đến lúc này ta mới có thể cảm nhận được mức độ tinh vi và phức tạp của vụ án lớn đến thế nào. Mình khâm phục tác giả đưa những kiến thức đồ sộ về cổ sinh vật học, tiến hoá, di truyền lồng ghép vào câu chuyện và tạo ra một âm mưu trải dài hàng bao thế kỉ, bắt nguồn từ thời cổ đại. Hội chứng E đã thể hiện rõ khả năng của tác giả khi kết hợp giữa điện ảnh và thần kinh học để lý giải cho chứng lan truyền bạo lực giữa các cá thể khi cùng tác động bởi thị giác, nay cuốn này còn phức tạp hơn vậy, càng thể hiện rõ sự hiểu biết sâu rộng khi tác giả.

Truyện đọc rất cuốn hút, có chăng thì những đoạn lãng mạn giữua Lucie và Franck là mình không thích lắm, nhưng còn lại mình cực kì choáng ngợp bởi cách hai người, như trong Hội chứng E, tách nhau ra mỗi người điều tra theo một hướng và kết hợp với nhau để khám phá ra sự thật đằng sau những mã gen bí ẩn. Không ai ngờ được rằng, đôi khi sự bạo lực nó phát sinh không phải do tính cách, giáo dục mà lại chính vì cái thủ phạm tinh vi bé nhỏ lẩn lách trong sợi dây xoắn ADN của chúng ta, và nó không chỉ là một cái gì mới mẻ, mà còn là thứ sinh sống lâu đời, luồn lách qua bao nhiêu thế hệ. Nhưng quan trọng hơn cả, những kẻ nắm giữ kiến thức đó biết cách tận dụng và cố ý hãm hại bao nhiêu người.

A keď konečne dobehneme ten náskok, to prekliate okolie ešte zrýchli, núti nás prispôsobiť sa a ešte pridať. To čo, v Syndróme E rozdelila tragédia pokračuje v druhej časti dvojdielnej série francúzskeho autora Francka Thilleza. Vzťahové väzby ochabnú, city naoko ochladnú a nová, krutá etapa životov dvoch hlavných hrdinov sa začína. Čo by mala tragédia posilniť sa rozpadá a Henebellová a Sharko si cestu k sebe musia hľadať odznova.

Keď som dočítala Syndróm E, koniec ma veľmi prekvapil. Na čas som tento príbeh poručíčky Lucie Hennebelovej a detektíva Francka Sharka odložila a v auguste tohto roku sa k nemu vrátila. S očakávaním dobrého konca zmiznutia Hennebellovej dvojičiek som sa hneď po prvých stranách rozlúčila. A zároveň som sa vydala na pátranie po záhadnom pôvode ich vraha. Keby to však bolo také jednoduché... Príroda sa častokrát s niektorými jedincami poriadne vyhrá a tak je to aj v tomto prípade. Okrem toho sa na prvých stránkach knihy stane veľmi záhadná vražda mladej študentky, na ktorej riešení sa má podieľať samotný Sharko. Zbičovaný uplynulými udalosťami v jeho živote sa necháva preložiť na nižšiu pozíciu a na policajnom oddelení len prežíva deň za dňom.



Toto však trvá len do chvíle, kým nájde určité prepojenie prípadu s jeho a Lucienou minulosťou. Na vlastné riziko prekračuje všetky policajné predpisy a strmhlav sa púšťa do šialenstva, ktoré sa za záhadnou vraždou skrýva. Tým šialenstvom je GATACA. Aby toho nebolo málo, Henebellová opúšťa svoje miesto poručíčky a hľadá utešenie v práci v call centre. Svojským spôsobom sa vyrovnáva s udalosťami, ktoré tak zásadne zasiahli jej život. Hlavu má pri vrahovi, ktorý jej zobral to najcennejšie, čo len rodičovi zobrať môžete. Dieťa. Keď sa však dozvie, že vo väznici spáchal samovraždu, rozhodne sa pátrať po dôvodoch, ktoré ho k tomu dohnali. Nevedomky sa púšťa rovnakou cestou ako Sharko, až sa ich chodníky konečne spoja. Spolu sa dostanú na stopu niečomu, čo by mohlo zmeniť pohľad na evolúciu človeka. Cesta za pravdou je však strastiplná a aj v naoko úplne odlišných prípadoch sa nachádza až priveľa podobnosti. Hlavne pokiaľ ide o DNA každého z vrahov.


Hlavní hrdinovia sa pasujú so svojim tajným vyšetrovaním, avšak ani to sa nezaobíde bez následkov. Len zriedka sa dá niečo tak vážne utajiť pred zvyškom policajného sveta a Sharko na to patrične doplatí. Vo svete nie je zriedkavá zaujatosť voči určitým ľuďom či závisť medzi kolegami a aj tu sa s ich podobou stretávame. Aj keď Sharko už viac nie je komisárom, stále sa nájdu ľudia, ktorí by ho najradšej zničili a odpratali z cesty.


Gataca je príbeh o túžbe po spravodlivosti a sile hlavných hrdinov ktorí sa na hranici zúfalstva neboja postaviť pravde do očí. Pravda častokrát nie je taká, akú si ju predstavujeme a naše ilúzie, postavené ako domček z karát, sa v náhlom momente jedným gestom zrútia. Táto chvíľa býva veľmi bolestivá, ale každý človek sa s ňou musí vyrovnať sám. A čo môže pomôcť lepšie, než mať po boku milovaného človeka?




Franck Thilliez vo svojom druhom pokračovaní príbehu o dvojici policajných detektívoch úžasne uviedol evolučnú biológiu do sveta bežných ľudí. Dozvieme sa o úzkej spojitosti medzi ľaváctvom a násilnosťou, pozrieme sa na zúbky tak komplexnej téme akou sú zložky DNA či šírenie retrovírusov. Dokonca sa s hlavnými hrdinami vydáme na cestu za vznikom jedného z nich.



Príbehu podľa mňa nie je čo vytknúť. Ak ste fanúšikmi severského krimi, toto vám zapadne do vášho repertoáru aj napriek tomu, že prostredie je francúzske. Úžasný štýl písania autora vás po pár stranách pripúta ku knihe a len ťažko sa od nej odtrhnete. Zároveň sa mi páči, že autor nám čitateľom nedáva priestor na to, aby sme mohli dedukovať. Dej je tak spletitý, že nie je možné odhaliť toho hlavného zločinca hneď na začiatku. Pretáčate stránku za stránkou a čakáte, čo bude ďalej, ako momentálna stopa povedie k tej ďalšej. Spájate si okolnosti, rozmýšľate nad rozpoložením hlavných hrdinov a nechávate sa poblázniť príbehom. Téma genetiky a dôležitosti chromozómu X či Y vás dostane natoľko, že po prečítaní budete mať chuť dozvedieť sa o téme viac. Autor na konci knihy sám uvádza zdroje, ktoré by vám v takomto prípade boli užitočné. Osobne som sa veľmi navnadila na Darwinovu bibliu o evolúcii a mnoho ďalších. Zároveň vám posledné slovo autora môže poslúžiť ako záruka dôveryhodnosti i keď fiktívneho príbehu.

Čo by som dodala na záver? Snáď len toľko, že verím, že Artforum sa dostane k prekladaniu ďalšej časti, s názvom Atomka. Henebellová a Sharko sú dvojicou postáv, s ktorými som sa dokázala zžiť rovnako, ako sa mi to stalo pri Larssonovom Millenniu. Verím, že sa to podarí aj vám. Avšak ak ste ešte nesiahli po Thilliezovom Syndróme E, na Gatacu zabudnite! Treba ísť pekne po poriadku!

Thriller adictivo en el que la antropología, la paleontología, la biología y sus múltiples ramas son importantes para la trama.
Con unos personajes principales fuertes con sus propios traumas y sufrimientos, bien construidos y perfilados. Una novela muy recomendable para aquel que le gusten los thrillers y la ciencia, una mezcla de las dos cosas que hacen que no puedas dejar de leer.
Me ha gustado mucho y seguiré leyendo los libros de estos dos personajes.

I only gave this book two stars because while I thought the idea was interesting, the writing was not good for me. And the story itself sort of fell apart towards the end as well. And the ending itself was terrible - hated it.

I know the translator of this book has worked on a lot of translations from French to English, but I can't help but feel that something was lost in translation. The conversations in the book where especially off, it was almost as though the translator had never had/heard a coversation between two English speakers; it was stilted and awkward.

As I said, the story was, at first interesting, the idea that there *is* a "left-handed gene" and that it's tied to a "violence" gene, or sequence or whatever. That's another problem I had with this book; the science was very dense and because I'm not a geneticist, I was lost a lot. Maybe someone with a stronger science background would have a better chance at understanding, but I wasn't even sure I understood the premise half the time. And then it completely went off the rails, IMO and, again, the ending was terrible.

Sorry, but I can't recommend. It only got two stars from me because the idea was there (sort of) and it wasn't the *most* poorly written book I've ever read.

Az előző kötet végén eléggé vérfagyasztó pillanatban hagytuk magára Lucie-t és Sharkot, és aggódtam is picit, hogy lesz ez folytatva, nem akartam, hogy átmenjen valami romantikusan csöpögős krimibe. Hát nem ment át, nagyon nem.
Vázlatosan tudomást szerzünk az elkövetkező egy évről, majd amikor előkerül Eva holtteste, és kutakodni kezdenek a múltjában, felvesszük a fonalát újra az egy évvel ezelőtti eseményeknek. Miközben hullák és gyilkosok kerülnek elő mindenféle helyekről, rengeteg tudományos magyarázatot kapunk a dns és az evolúció kapcsolatáról, az emberi fejlődés összetettségéről, a balkezesség és az erőszak lehetséges összefüggéseiről.
És ezt imádom ebben a könyvben. nem akarja a gonoszt semmiféle misztikus ködbe burkolni, hanem tudományosan igyekszik megmagyarázni a "létét". Állítólag nincs erőszakosságért felelős gén. Mondjuk, hogy elhiszem, bár ha konkrétan minden megfeleltethető a génállományban egy betűsorozatnak, nem tudom, miért pont ezt ne lehetne megtalálni.
Az előző kötetben az agresszió és erőszak agyra gyakorolt hatása került elő - az amigdala összemegy, és előkerült a tömeges hisztéria, ami a nulladik betegtől, az erőszakhordozó agresszorból kiindulva egyfajta vírusként terjed végig a környezetén, megfertőzve, és erőszakra kényszerítve a körülötte levőket. Ezek a folyamatok a laborban nem tesztelhetők, viszont a filmek, rejtett képek agyra gyakorolt hatása beindíthatja a folyamatot, persze, ha a megfelelően beteg képekkel bombázzák az agyat. (azért elég félelmetes belegondolni, hogy ha a reklámokkal működik, és ösztönözni lehet vásárlásra, választásra, akkor miért ne működhetne ez az erőszakos vonulat. egyre több az elborultan gyilkoló ember...)
Ebben a kötetben nem az agresszió-gént keresik, csupán génszinten és evolúció-történetileg vizsgálják a különösen erőszakos embereket a jelenben és a múltban is, és találnak is összefüggést.
És itt jön az, hogy nem tudom, mennyire megalapozott ez az egész tudományosan. Nem szeretik a nagyközönségben a feszkót kelteni, nem is kell nekünk mindent tudni, ezért nem is szerepel ilyesmi a mindennapi hírekben, Thilliez viszont rengeteg előadáson vett részt, és teljesen hihetőnek tűnik minden magyarázata és következtetése. Logikusan és érthetően végigvezeti az olvasót a szakmai részén, már-már el is hiszem magamról, hogy értem a dns felépítését és az evolúció mikéntjét.

Gataca est un roman réellement puissant. Je suis vraiment admirative du travail fourni par Franck Thilliez, de ses recherches (ici en anthropologie et génétique particulièrement) qui lui ont permis d'enrichir son livre au plus au haut point, Ce que j'aime tout particulièrement chez cet auteur, c'est le fait qu'il manie le suspense et l'horreur avec brio, mais surtout qu'il arrive à rendre ses bouquins très riches en terme de connaissances... je sais, je le dis à chaque fois que je lis un de ses romans mais c'est réellement dingue tout ce que je découvre en le lisant. Sans parler de ses personnages au profil psychologique complexe auxquels on s'attache très rapidement malgré leur part d'ombre. L'enquête est captivante. Le résultat est sublime comme à son habitude. Un grand bravo à cet auteur qui pour moi, n'a plus rien à prouver, un véritable maître de la plume.

Những nghiên cứu về gien trong này rất là thú vị, nhiều khi làm mình choáng ngợp, tác giả phải đọc bao nhiêu quyển chuyên ngành sinh học, cổ sinh học, khảo cổ để viết quyển này vợi trời. Công nhận không tốn công bạn mong đợi, rất đáng đồng xiền bát gạo và thời gian bỏ ra cày mấy trăm trang.
Từ một án mạng vô tình ở vườn thú, tưởng chỉ là tai nạn của một chú tinh tinh với một cô gái nhưng không.
Sau đấy là hàng loạt những cái chết hé lộ ra một âm mưu tàn ác, dựa trên mã di truyền DNA trứ danh của loài người. Hóa ra gen tàn ác có khi lại có sẵn trong con người từ thời cổ đại, chúng chỉ ẩn mình, chờ đợi thời cơ bộc phát. Những nghiên cứu ghê rợn dựa trên khoa học nhưng chủ yếu là dựa trên sự hoang tưởng của chính con người.

Buena historia de novela negra que aunque no engancha en exceso se deja leer bastante bien. Me gustan mucho los temas de genética que tocan a lo largo del libro. Además, si eres zurdo seguro que te interesa aún más, que hablan bastante de nosotros =)

Me reencuentro con uno de mis autores y personajes favoritos, lo cierto es que dejé pasar mucho tiempo ya que el libro anterior me dejó literalmente en la lona, necesitaba tiempo para recuperarme.


En este cuarto libro se nota un cambio de chip, fue extremadamente notorio, mientras que los tres primeros libros son duros, brutales, fuertes, en este caso Thilliez bajó mucho el nivel de (digámoslo de esa manera) violencia y fatalidad.


Si bien es cierto que la calidad narrativa continúa, me atrevería a decir que incluso mejora en cada libro y el ritmo es asombroso, también como en cada entrega, lo cierto es que se nota un gran cambio entre el primer libro y este cuarto, pero no por eso ha bajado la calidad, no por eso ha dejado de sorprenderme y de encantarme, simplemente se nota un cambio, no me atrevería a decir si para bien o para mal, simplemente es diferente a lo que me tenía acostumbrada.


En cuanto a la historia es muy interesante lo que plantea, además me ha sorprendido mucho y me ha fascinado la manera en que plantea todo el tema genético y de evolución, creando así un tipo de asesino literario bastante original y diferente.


En cuanto a Sharko, pues ¿qué decir? es una tragedia sin más y al menos ya no va por la vida solo, ahora comparte vida y tragedias con un personaje que conocimos en el libro anterior Lucie Henebelle y sin ninguna duda hacen un dúo y pareja maravillosa. No puedo esperar a ver qué nueva fatalidad les espera en la vida.


Pues sí, parece que no puede haber novela negra sin fatalidad protagónica, creo que tengo que resignarme a ello.


Es una serie, personalmente me gusta leerlas en orden y leer desde el primero libro, sin embargo en una nota al inicio del libro, el mismo autor comenta que este libro se puede leer perfectamente sin haberse leído los anteriores.


Para mí una de las mejores series de novela negra contemporáneas

Bred to Kill was released previously as Gataca in several languages and it has now made it's was to an American audience.
An unsung hero award for this title goes to the translator Mark Polizzotti as his work to cross languages helps this book shine just like I'm sure it did in its native language.
This novel is an excellent combination of cutting edge science and fast paced thriller. The scientific jargon is approached in a layman's fashion to help the reader adapt to the premise set forth.
The shear plausibility of this story makes it even more chilling. The combination of unknown genetic markers and the ease of setting up your DIY genetics lab opens the door for a very scary future.
There are plenty of twists to keep the staunchest thriller reader engaged.
The humanity present in these characters is the driving force for me behind this novel. These people seem real and you want them to succeed, pray for them to succeed. The loss these two characters carry with them is palpable and infects the reader just as much as it does the characters themselves.
A very fine novel whose only fault seems to be a little too much scientific explanation near the end that breaks up the pace and has you wanting to skip a page or two to get back into the lives of the characters.

Ce que j’aime chez Thilliez, c’est qu’on peut attaquer n’importe lequel de ses romans, n’importe quand, et on n’est jamais déçu ! Une valeur sûre, comme on dit. Ce roman fait suite au Syndrome E, mais peut se lire indépendamment. Nous retrouvons Lucie et Sharko dans de tristes circonstances, à l’aube d’une enquête complexe et échevelée, où chacun remontera le fil noueux du mystère. Deux pistes qui vont bientôt se rejoindre de manière inattendue et particulièrement tarabiscotée. Encore une fois, Thilliez emploie les grands moyens et nous plonge dans une intrigue sur un solide fond de sciences et de biologie, où l’ADN joue un rôle prépondérant. Jamais lourd, jamais indigeste, les éléments scientifiques sont clairs, passionnants, et apportent du concret à l’histoire. Les romans de Thilliez sont toujours riches et documentés, et attisent à chaque fois la curiosité du lecteur.

Me ha encantado. Este autor me tiene más que ganada y cada libro de esta serie me vuelve a sorprender y está mejor que los anteriores. Son geniales y te dejan el corazón en un puño.
Este en concreto lo tiene todo: argumento, ritmo, personajes, originalidad... Además de todo eso, la novela está documentadísima y explica de manera bastante asequible conceptos científicos bastante complejos. No soy experta en los campos de ADN, genética, evolución y virus, pero aparentemente tiene bastante rigor científico.

Segunda parte de "El síndrome E", no recomiendo leerlo si no se ha leído previamente el anterior.
Mantiene el nivel del primero, tiene un ritmo frenético no apto para cardíacos, plantea nuevos e interesantísimos temas científicos, y tiene un final que, perdón por la expresión, no puede ser más c*br*n.
Tardé meses en recuperarme.

EDITO: Al igual que me pasó con "El síndrome E" esta relectura, 10 años después, ha sido igual de gratificante, y mantengo mi valoración del libro que hice en su día.
