Winner of the 2015 RITA Award for Best First Book!

Clara Kensie, author of dark fiction for young adults
…don’t forget to breathe…

Clara Kensie grew up near Chicago, reading every book she could find and using her diary to write stories about a girl with psychic powers who solved mysteries. She purposely did not hide her diary, hoping someone would read it and assume she was writing about herself. Since then, she’s swapped her diary for a computer and admits her characters are fictional, but otherwise she hasn’t changed one bit.

Today Clara is an award-winning author of dark fiction for young adults. Her debut, the super-romantic psychic thriller DECEPTION SO series, was named an RT Book Review Editors Pick for Best Books of 2014, and Deception So Book One: DECEPTION SO DEADLY, is the winner of the prestigious 2015 RITA© Award for Best First Book.

The first two books in the DECEPTION SO series, originally released as a six-part serial titled Run to You, are now compiled into full-length novels, DECEPTION SO DEADLY and DECEPTION SO DARK (Snowy Wings Publishing).

Clara’s critically-acclaimed novel AFTERMATH (Simon and Schuster), a dark, ripped-from-the-headlines drama about hope, healing, and triumph over tragedy in the tradition of Room and The Lovely Bones, is on Goodreads’ list of Most Popular Books Published in November 2016, and Young Adult Books Central declared it a Top Ten Book of 2016.

Her most recent book is KILL ME ONCE, KILL ME TWICE, a dual-POV, dual-timeline, dual-romance, dual-mystery/thriller with elements of magical realism.

Clara’s favorite foods are guacamole and cookie dough. But not together. That would be gross.

I continue to thank Harlequin Teen for providing me with a copy of this book to read and review. I was anxious to get on with the story as the last installment ended on a cliff hanger. So I needed to know what happened! Receiving this book for free has in no way altered my opinion or review.

Blurb from Goodreads:
Part Three in the riveting romantic thriller about a family on the run from a deadly past and a first love that will transcend secrets, lies and danger…
Betrayed, heartbroken, and determined to save her family, Tessa Carson refuses to give in to Tristan Walker’s pleas for forgiveness. But her own awakening psychic gift won’t let her rest until she uncovers the truth about her family and her past. And Tristan is the only one who can help her sift through the secrets to find the truth hidden in all the lies…

Once again, this book picks up immediately where the last part left off. Tessa has been deeply betrayed and she no longer knows who she can trust. Her family has been ripped away from her and her only aim is to get them back and run from the people she believes are out to hurt her!

I can honestly say that I was annoyed with Tessa in this book. While I've liked her character in the past, I felt like she was more wishy washy here. I understand she is torn in what to believe, but I didn't feel like the portrayal of this was realistic. One second she's upset with Tristan the next she's letting him touch her. It just seems so at odds. However, I do understand that Tessa has never really been able to trust anyone, so it was like her brain was at war with herself!
And Tristan sticks by Tessa's side, no matter what. He truly believes in their love and wants her to trust him. I would be interested to see some of this story from his point of view.

What I loved most about this part of the series is it makes you question everything you have learned so far in the series. You are torn on who to believe and who is lying. Tessa's world is turned upside-down as Tristan drops a huge bomb on her. But she doesn't believe him and is determined to get to the truth, even if she has to use Tristan's love for her to her advantage.

While this was no my favorite installment of this sires, a little too much angst on Tessa's part (even though I know the whole truth was very hard for her to swallow), it still makes me want to continue with this series. I need to know what happens after Tessa accepts the truth and finds out who she can truly trust. And I need to know what happened to some of the characters that were put on the back burner!

So bring on more Kensie, because I am definitely a fan of this series!

This review is for Run To You parts 1, 2 and 3. This is a serial series, and so far the first three parts were released together. The next three parts (parts 4, 5, and 6) will be coming out together in June 2014. Each of the three parts is short, like a novella, but together they made a good sized book. I am loving this series! I would easily read right on to the next three parts back to back (to back) if I had them. It is addictive. I felt like I was on a netflix binge and I just couldn't stop watching the next episode.

Run To You features a family that has different psychic abilities, that is on the run. Tessa is the only one without any gifts and even though she is the "normal" one of the family with the least to hide, she is the most guarded of the bunch. She never gets close to anyone. I loved getting to know her whole family and learning about each of their gifts. But soon the focus of the story shifted to Tristan. He is always so kind and great to Tessa, or Sarah, as he knew her. I loved watching her become close to someone outside of her family for the first time ever. Their romance was just so sweet and full of promise and hope. All the exciting things from a first love.

The cool thing about this series is that you get two great stories. You get the sweet and adorable romance and you also get the pulse pounding mystery/action/intrigue plot from the family always on the run from this Dennis Connelly. I can't tell which aspect of the story I enjoyed more. If I had to pick, I would say the romance because Tristan just melted my heart. I thought the pacing and plot twists and reveals were excellently spaced out. The only thing I can be critical on, was I thought that the author waited too long to explain what exactly was going on with the "fog". I found myself thinking that I had missed something once or twice when it was mentioned. But it was eventually explained and I thought it was really cool.

Parts 1 and Part 2 each ended with a bombshell dropping. I didn't really see either of them coming, which was such a great surprise for me. And the cliffhanger ending of the second part set up what pretty much the whole third installment would be about. It was like a mini mystery in and of itself. While I did kind of see where the third book was going, it was still full of twists and turns and information reveals for me to be totally riveted. This book was different than anything I have read in a while, and I absolutely loved that about it. This is a series that I will be continuing for sure. I highly recommend it.

I found this instalment a little repetitive. It didn't keep my interest like the others. I found myself wishing I hadn't started a six part series, because it suddenly seemed like a huge investment of time.

I've enjoyed it so far, but I don't think I'll read the next three.

Review:

Run To You is a series that would blow your mind. It kind of reminded me to much sweet, romantic and girly version of Heroes, without losing the deadly, dangerous and mysterious touch. I'm a fan of Heroes a fan of romantic and dangerous stories and mostly YA stories. What can I say? It's like Clara Kensie wrote this series specially for me to adore and love to the point of wanting to re-read Tessa's stories again and again.

To sum up a little bit the three first books in this mind-blowing series without giving anything away, I'd only say that Sarah Spencer has a huge secret: her name is Tessa Carson. She and her family are in constant danger because they are a gifted family and because of it they are always running, changing names, cities, friends and homes. Her sister and brother can be normal, can have friends, she cannot. She has a scar to remember her every time she arrives a new town what could happen if she draw too much attention. He would find them all and will kill them.
Her plan worked until she moved one last time. She found Tristan Walker at TLC and couldn't keep her eyes away from him. And more important, she couldn't convince him to stay away. For the first time, Tessa has the desire to tell all her secrets, to stop being Sarah Spencer when she's with Tristan. But her world would not only become more dangerous than before, but there'd be unraveling truths, secrets that would destroy Tessa's world and that could make her lose everything. Even Tristan.

Run To You Part One: First Sight, shows us Tessa's world: in constant running and fear to be discovered. Living like fugitives and being the only one in her family even more different than the rest of them makes her life even more difficult than the rest of them.
To me, Tessa is the strongest characters of them all. She has a quiet personality that makes her suffer in silence for the benefit of her family. That's simple admirable. She's sixteen and she wouldn't need to confront her nightmares in silence, yet she does. She's definitely the strongest of them all and throughout the three books she proves us that she's also in the heroine category, with or without special abilities.
Tristan is the boy that makes Tessa forget, that makes her happy.

"The first reaction you have to anything is fear."
A tear rolled down my cheek.
He wiped it away with the back of his finger. "You try to solve all your problems by running away."
I stared into his eyes, wide and soft and full of love.
"See? I do know you well enough to love you." He tucked my hair behind my ear. "But the only thing I need to know is that the only time you're happy is when you're with me."

Run To You Part Two: Second Glance, continues exactly where First Sight ends. With the unexpected, yet desired ending in the first book, Tessa and Tristan become an inseparable item and their relationship grows stronger. However, at the same time, Tessa's life becomes more complicated and dangerous and ends up bringing Tristan to the darkest parts of her world.
I could say that Second Glance is the prelude to the climax of the story, when everything falls down. And even when you don't know what's going to happen, you feel it while reading this book. You know that what will happen in this book would lead to the betrayal and the danger that the synopsis of Third Charm promises. And this book has the power to do that.

We were meant to find each other, so he could keep me safe.
"You're a superhero." I laughed. "My own personal superhero."
Grinning, he gave a mock bow. "At your service."

Run To You Part Three: Third Charm, also picks up where Second Glance left and, to me, this book was the most heart-breaking, unraveling and mind-blowing of them all. I finished the second book, holding my breath, and didn't even have time to blink when I was starting eagerly the third book. The synopsis promises betrayal, a heart broken and more danger than before for Tessa, but it goes beyond that. This is the book when everything makes sense. When all the secrets and lies are revealed and when Tessa's world tumbles down for good. It also is the book where Tessa finds who she really is. And I think that's one of the reasons I loved this book more than the other two (not that I didn't love the other two).
With everything that's going on in this story, you're holding your breath and you keep reading, captivated by the change in the story and without truly believing the amount of lies and secrets.

"(...) You didn't have to stay down here with me, but you did. You never left me. Not for one second. That's how you proved you love me."

Overall, Clara Kensie created an exciting and amazing world full of danger, lies, secrets, powers and one fight, where there was no place for love, yet the main character finds it. And it's one of those stories that you know that they will fight until the end to be together. Making it impossible to the reader to not fall in love with it and to want to read more.
The characters have their own personality and they don't give anything away that would make you think who the bad guy's in the story. Meanwhile, the plot is well-built, easy to follow and has the perfect amount of drama, romance, paranormal, secrets and danger that makes the reader addicted to the story and the characters. The story was really short. To my taste, way too short, since I enjoyed it so much. I easily finished the three books in a few hours.
The ending is a great one. It was well thought, since it's still open, but it's also an ending that leaves the reader satisfied and also a little bit freaked out by knowing that the books will continue and that this end may change. So, yes, it could be considered a good ending.
I would love to read more about Tessa's brothers and how things go after the ending of Third Charm with Tessa and Tristan.
I highly recommend these books. Not one, but the three of them. And I can assure you that I will keep an eye on the following ones. I can't wait to see what happen to Tessa and Tristan and to Tessa's sister and brother. One of indicator that I truly loved the books, beyond the five gorjuss dolls, is to see if I chose a Dream Cast and I couldn't resist this time. I had it clear since I read the description of both characters.
So, yes, you have to read this book and yes, you're gonna love it, Book Addicts.

*I have to thank YA Bound for letting me be part of this tour and to Clara Kensie for writing such an amazing story for each book. I received these books from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I'll try to keep spoilers to a minimum.

Run to You is a collection of serial novellas, the first YA serial to be released by Harlequin Teen. I like the idea of a serial, reminds me of favorite TV shows we get an episode at a time. But I wasn't sure how that would translate to reading. I hate cliffhanger endings—seriously, they're the bane of my literary existence. Since I received all three books at once, the plan was to read one on Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday. Each is 90 or so pages, so about an hour of reading time. Didn't happen. Don't know why I thought it would... I read them all back to back and couldn't put them down. They were that good.

In Part I, we're introduced to the Carson family who've been on the run for the last eight years. Bad people are after them. They manage to escape right before the monster arrives, a total of thirteen times in eight years. Each new place comes with a new identity for Tessa, brother Logan and sister Jillian. The horrible monster chases them with psychotic relentlessness, creating a terror in Tessa and her siblings akin to the Bogeyman.

Even though Part I ends in mid-scene, I liked the cut. It was well done. Part II picks up again mid-scene with Tessa realizing that romantic interest Tristan has wormed his way past her barricades and into her heart. I admit, I fell in love with Tristan too. He's just too good to be true. Tessa begins to open up to Tristan because she hates lying to him. She feels safe with him, especially after he reveals a secret power he possesses. But all good things... well you know the rest.

Part II ended with quite the cliffhanger. It was a good thing I had Part III in hand, or I would've been quite disgruntled. I couldn't devour the third part fast enough. So many revelations, lies, secrets, betrayals—it was thrilling. I didn't see it coming, not even once. How fantastic is that? I enjoyed the ending for Part III, it was satisfying enough to make waiting for Parts IV-VI bearable.

I loved this series. The characters were well-developed. It was tiny things that connected the reader to the characters: a pair of pointe shoes, a saxophone, missing artwork... Little things that meant the world to three teens whose lives have been anything but normal. It amazed me how I could start out liking a character, only to despise them by the end. Ms. Kensie's writing elicited strong emotions from me—I felt Tessa's emotions right along with her. The pacing of the story was also well done. Like I said earlier, I couldn't put it down.

Run To You is an amazing novella series. Part romance, part mystery, part paranormal, and part psychological thriller, it will keep you reading well into the night. I highly recommend adding this series to your TBR list. It's on my rather short list of favorites on Goodreads. It's appropriate for teens, adults and precocious preteens. I can't wait for Parts IV-VI!

An addicting romantic thriller, Part Three: Third Charm was a book I couldn't put down. Kensie continues with her great plot twists, and shocking truth. With each new installment the suspense thickens, and betrayals continue to be that much more heartbreaking. Yeah, I did not see that one coming! Part One: First Sight hooked me. Part Two: Run To You, kept me wanting more. Part Three: Third Charm gave it all to me and then some.

Wow, talk about a shocking turn of events. I still can't get over the truths that Tessa discovers. I was not excepting that, at all. Everything that Tessa has been lead to believe for the past eight years comes crashing down, and now she has to piece together the truths hidden behind all the lies. She finally discovers the truths for herself as her own powers come to light. Tessa has a very hard time coming to terms with everything that's happen around her. Tristan's betrayal, what she's being told about her parents, her own powers coming to light, and trying to wrap her mind around what she's been lead to believe vs what's she been told now. It's during this time that I started to get a little annoyed with her. I understood her emotions, but after her awhile he constant hot and cold emotions were getting a little annoying, especially when it came to Tristan.

Oh Tristan. Given all we learn about him, and everything else (no spoilers) that's happened, and been going on, I didn't think I'd like him as much as I did in part one. He's proved me wrong. He continues to surprise me, and intrigue me. I've moved past the I can't believe he that, to understanding why he did what and why he did what he did. I now understand his motives, and his reasoning behind his decisions. I have to say, he's definitely a great leading male character. His strengths out weigh his flaws. His love for Tessa is definitely his driven force behind all he does. Without saying too much, I have to admit he totally melted my heart when given the chance to leave, he doesn't leave Tessa's side. *sigh*

I've now become a fan of serial novels, well at least Clara Kensie's one. This series does not disappointment! Her world building is fabulous, her characters are well written, and plot twists keep me coming back for more. Sure some things are predictable, but even then things that happen are still shocking, and add a lot of excitement to the story. I loved how Kensie tied the first three parts of her story together. There's something that Tristan confides in Tessa early one in the series that is again mentioned at the very end of this book, and ooh it's so fabulous.

Romance, danger, shocking discoveries and intrigue. This series has had it all. I can not wait to read the other parts of this story when they're out this summer. Read my review for Part One, HERE and Part Two, HERE.

Part three makes you question everything you've learned thus far. I couldn't tell what was real anymore and I had no idea as to who to believe! All I knew for sure was that Tessa's world had been turned upside down and she has to come to terms with new information that has the potential to destroy her fragile state of mind. In addition, Tristan has dropped a whopper of a bomb on her and she must come to terms with that means as well.

I loved the twists and turns Kensie employed in this book. I flew through the pages as I just had to know the truth regarding everything.

Tristan definitely pulled a fast one on me in the second serial and while I wanted to hate him, I just couldn't. He is such a good guy and is completely devoted to Tessa. I hate that she doesn't trust him and that she believes everything between them was a lie. However, Tristan remains steadfast and will not leave her side no matter what. He helps her uncover the truth and find the answers she is looking for. He knows he has a lot to prove to her, but he is determined and I really love that about him. Truth and redemption are the two pivotal themes in this final serial and we really see how the two impact both Tessa and Tristan's lives.

There is so much more I want to say- but I definitely want to keep this as non spoilery as possible, so I'm telling you- you're just going to have to read for yourself to find out what I'm talking about! Some aspects will be predictable, while others will knock you flat on your back.

I love how Kensie kept us at the edge of our seats and that she didn't provide us with another cliffhanger! June is a long ways off to be put through that kind of torture! I cannot wait for the next three parts in the novel and find out how Tessa will handle everything she's been through, as well as seek out her missing brother and sister.

Overall, Clara Kensie has done a brilliant job of creating a serialized novel that is filled with action, suspense, and let's not forget the ROMANCE! <3 These serials each read so fast and I was completely engaged from start to finish.

Review for all of three:

After receiving this novellas I planned to read in 3 night. But I failed. I love the story so much I couldn't stop reading them and ignoring my moms word I stay all night read all three.
While reading these novellas I was extremely excited.
In First Sight we are introduced Tessa's family. Her brother Logan,Her sister Julian and Her Parents Wendy and Xander( if his name wrong, sorry).
They all escaping someone monster Dennis Connelly...a monster.
Eight years,thirteen different places.
New identity for new places.
In this new place Tessa meets Tristan. Oh God You immediately fell in love to him.
Tessa doesn't wanna be close to Tristan because they'll have to escape again.
In Second Glance, God it was all shock but mostly thrill. Action was very excited. My sleep came but I resist. It was 02:00 am and I prepare a big cup black coffee. OMG! Drinking Coffee so early in the morning... well I couldn't sleep after that :D
In this novella They confessed each other. I thought it was all good. They will beat the monster and after that happily living.. But NO! It was all shock! Tristan lied so much! But I never believed. He is no matter what nice young man. He is Dennis Connelly's son...The Monster's Son. I was break into pieces after Second Glance...what a cliffhanger. It turns out Tessa's family.. The Parents OMG! It was really a big shock!
In Third Charm, it was really charmy. I already have the feeling about Tristan so it's all up to Tessa. It turns out her parents the guilty one. They are murderer. OKay there's a thing Her mother is totally bitch and I think her mother spelled him to do bad things more. I'm feeling all his regrets. After captiving them Julian and Logan escape somehow and they are missing. After learning the guilty one was her parents,Tessa's only desire now finding her brother&Sister.Thankfully The Author didn't left us with a cliffhanger but I'm extremely tense about last three novellas.

I rated this three novellas with a lot *5 truthful stars*

“For someone constantly on the lookout for suspicious people, I’d been so blind.”—Tessa

Tessa is held captive, and her family is broken. But after eight years of hiding, nothing compares to the betrayal she faces. Determined to save her family, she uncovers a secret about herself. It turns out, she’s not the weakest person in her family. In fact, she’s been keeping them safe for the past eight years. But now? She may be the one to destroy them…

“Their only weakness…is Tessa.”—an agent

I really love the fact that each of the three installments feels like episodes as opposed to one novel divided in random parts. In this third installment, we get to experience the confusion and desperation that Tessa feels as she’s held a prisoner. Her characterization is wonderful, and we can see how she’s vulnerable and afraid to trust anyone. She doesn’t know who or what to believe anymore, and her guilt in unintentionally playing a role in her family’s downfall eats away at her.

On the other hand, we also get to see how strong and loyal Tessa is as she deals with shocking betrayals. I loved that this installment shows snippets of the past so that we can see what happened as opposed to being told. As a result, we can understand how corruption can create villains in a such a sad way.

I was surprised that there were still some unresolved issues at the end, but it turns out there will be three more installments coming up! These past three installments were great, and I was surprised by the ending and how great it was. Tessa’s characterization was wonderful throughout. I wish I got to know some of the other characters better, for example, I don’t feel like I know Tristan as well as I should given he’s the romantic lead, but I’m sure we’ll get to learn more about the other characters more in the next three installments. Overall, this installment was a 5 out of 5 for me!

I loved, loved, loved this series of novellas about Tessa and Tristin. Their worlds overlap and then collide in this original story of coming of age while on the run. The stories are fast paced and well written, and the novellas blend seamlessly together to create a thrilling mystery you can’t put down.

The Carsons are an extraordinary family with varied psychic abilities: moving objects with the mind, memorizing facts with a wave of the hand and observing others with a remote eye. The youngest child Tessa, however, is not gifted with these abilities and must keep up with her psychic parents and siblings as they try to stay one step ahead of a killer. Without supernatural help, Tessa has a routine to avoid unwanted attention that may blow their cover: "make no eye contact, speak as little as possible, hide behind a textbook." As an introvert who frequently moves from state to state, its no wonder Tessa is a painfully shy girl with no friends.

When Tristin takes an interest in her, she tries to discourage him, but she eventually opens herself up to friendship and then dares for something more. Only problem is that Tristin knows her as Sarah, her most recent alias in a very long string of cover stories.

Keeping her family's identity and paranormal gifts a secret while getting closer to Tristin is a challenge, and Tessa must choose between loyalty to her family and personal happiness. The story that follows is AWESOME!

Look at the covers: Book One - Tristin pursues Tessa; Book Two – Tessa confides in Tristin; Book Three – they face off/see eye to eye... but I don't want to give anything away - the twists and turns are so unexpected and thrilling. I highly recommend you buy these books and enjoy the ride! - kris

This is an over all review of the first 3 parts

I got these books from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would like to thank the author and the tour organizers for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing these books.

Whoa!!! I wasn't expecting this at all!!! The plot is awesome and the story line is fabulous.

Here we meet Tessa aka Sarah [her fake name] who is part of a family having supernatural powers and they are on the run from the bad guys. Tessa joins new school under the fake name Sarah and meets an irresistible boy Tristan. Though she is not supposed to mingle with outsiders but she falls for him and he have feelings for her too. The story becomes more interesting when the readers get to know that Tristan has some secrets of him own and the dangerous enough to rip Tessa off his arms. What is that secret? How will Tristan react on knowing Tessa's true identity? Will their love survive?

I really enjoyed all three novellas which sum up into a novel size book and the story flowed smoothly from one to another. The cliff-hanger at the end of each book will leave you breathless and I loved the fact that the author decided to release these books in a set of 3 at a time, well that will help the readers to control their curiosity of reading the rest as fast as they can.

The mystery element is so brilliantly used that for most of the books you won't be able to predict what's coming next and you'll be so shocked when the revelations will take place. The action scenes are awesomely projected and the descriptive writing helped me to visualize the scenes every time.

Over all a great read and I would definitely recommend it to others as well. Hope that you guys will love it too. Enjoy!!!

After the ending of part 2 Tessa is heartbroken with the betrayal and lies from Tristian. How could he do that to her and how can he spread the lies? She is scared, alone and hurt but who can she turn to? Is her whole life a lie? Who is the real enemy?

I cant say too much about the plot of this one because it will only be spoilers but its breathtaking and had me feeling so many different emotions. Tessa has learned something that is devastating and tries all she can to find evidence its not real but what she finds instead is earth shattering for her. Her whole life has been filled with lies but these ones are beyond anything she can comprehend. The only person she can trust is the one person who broke her trust. How will they come back from this??

At the end of part 2 I really thought Tristian was a liar and a fool and I was ready to hate him for what he did but when everything comes to light we see him for what he truly is and I fell in love with his character again!! Tessa was broken and I didnt think she would come back from it but she did and she bounced back stronger than ever and with a new ability.

Part three was a brilliant addition to the serial and one that took my breath away. It was heartbreaking and emotional. All the lies that Tessa has to sift through just to find the truth had me in tears. She really grew as a character in this one and I'm so glad there is more!! Tessa and Tristian are characters that will stay with you for a long time. I can not wait to read more about them and the world Clara Kensie has created.

This was probably one of the first serial novels that I truly enjoyed. I always feel like serials don’t provide enough of the story and characterizations and world building are hastily done. Run to You was a fun fast paced read that kept me wanting more as I reached the end of each serial.

Tessa was a mixed bag for me. Sometimes I liked her and other times her mood swings would get annoying. She was practically bipolar when it came to her relationship with Tristan and I really didn’t get why he fell in love with her so quickly. Tristan was a good male lead and I was glad his character became more intriguing as the story went on.

The characters aside, I really liked the premise of the books. Tessa and her family are on the run and need to constantly change their identities in order to keep their paranormal abilities from being exposed. Tessa is the “neutral” one of the family and has to deal with never having a normal childhood.

There were some twists and turns that added a lot of suspense. There was a little bit of predictability to the plot and I think it would’ve been better if the hints to what was going to happen were subtler. However, I still liked it enough to read all three serials back to back.

I rated each book between 4 to 4 ½ stars. I think the middle book was my favorite of the three. The story arc is concluded in Third Charm, but there’s enough unanswered questions that more serials will be released in the summer.

Overall Rating: 4/5 Stars

I received a copy of the novel as part of the Run to You blog tour.

The only thing I don't like about this book is having to wait until JUNE for the next installment!

I've never read a serial series before, so I was quite interested in this story for that angle. Plus the story idea sounded like it would be intense and compelling. Boy, was it.

From the first few pages, I had an emotional connection with Tessa. She just spoke straight into my heart and I found myself wanting to hug her. Her life is pretty rough: they've lived in 13 places in 8 years, having a new identity at each place. She can't do the things she loves (like art) because they can't leave behind anything personal, and she is the only one in her entire family that doesn't have psychic abilities. Oh and someone is trying to kill her.

When she met Tristan, she was very resistive. I didn't blame her, she's had a tough life. I was kind of peeved at her family for pushing her, because her reasons for not getting close to people were valid. However, it all worked out, because she fit with Tristan.

This is just the third part of serial novels! I was absolutely immersed in Tessa and Tristan's struggle to uncover the truth behind the secrets and lies! I literally couldn't put the book down. I just had to get to the end! I just loved these serial novels! Talk about romantic thrillers!

Whoa! What a reveal! Tessa definitely struggles to sift through everything she knows to be true and what they are telling her. All the while, Tristan struggles to gain Tessa's trust back. Through all the secrets and lies, Tessa finds that she's not as "neutral" as she was made out to be. Oh my gosh! What a romantic thriller! I was gasping as the "truths" were being revealed to Tessa! I just couldn't stop reading until I got to the end! Now, I am definitely excited for Part Four, Five & Six...coming this June 2014! Can't wait!

Take deep breaths! You really need to prepare yourself for this part!!!
So many revelations! Heartbreak! And unbelievable reality for Tessa!

Poor Tessa! All of her nightmares seem to be coming true...
No one to trust. No where to go.
Her family is broken.
Tristan is a liar... or is he?

Decisions have to be made. And Tessa finally comes into her psychic power. One that must be controlled quickly or bad things can happen.
Can she handle this all alone???

Such a bittersweet ending.
Clara Kensie's writing is out of this world! I couldn't swipe the pages fast enough - I was so frustrated! I wanted to throw my ereader across the room! Such a page turner!!!

Things tie up nicely at the end, and gives us a lead into what the next three parts will be about
- and I cannot wait to read more!!!

The third installment of the Run to You serial brings with it a very different type of confusion than we experienced in part one; this the type borne of two seemingly opposing truths that require a great deal of questioning and soul-searching in order to sniff out which is actually an impressively constructed lie. We find ourselves in much the same state as Tessa after the shocking parting line of Second Glance, trying to sort through what we thought we knew about everyone and everything in her life up until that point, though where she despairs of all she’s learned, we can’t help but be perversely gleeful over the fact that Ms. Kensie threw us a curveball that promptly flew right by us and struck us out...

Just when I thought I couldn't love this series anymore, I was proved wrong. Part 3 picks up right where part 2 left off. Tessa is still reeling from everything that has happened to her and wants to so desperately believe that Tristan is wrong and that her parents are innocent......

There is definitely a lot of surprises and a pretty shocking revelation in this book. Let me just say, Tristan definitely won me over again. I loved that he absolutely refused to give up on Tessa and stayed by her side. I loved the swoony moments between Tessa and Tristan.

Run to You Part 3 wrapped up pretty nicely and I was left with a smile on my face when I finished it! I can't wait until the summer when the rest of the series is released!

As a CP of Clara's I read these three installments as one book, and I absolutely loved the characters and the story then. I am thrilled to have had the chance to reread this just now as the first of Harlequin's digital serials, and I surprised myself by loving RUN TO YOU even more.

Clara is amazing! She's done such a fabulous job with this story. There is so much tension and her ability to capture small details is lovely. But chiefly, she has such warmth and such a taut romance in this story. And the powers and world are so unique. I can't say enough about how much I love this!

On the third part still under the impression of betrayal Tessa finds out that she too has an ability, an ability which covers most of the book and finally reveals her family's secret. While the ending was bittersweet, I still have more questions about her brother and sister.

Overall, the series is amazing, emotional, the work of an author who has the potential to write eve better action packed stories!

Very entertaining, pretty much nothing is what it seems. Lots of surprises. Good and bad.

There is bit of teenage angst, it didn't bother me, they ARE teenagers after all. Yet, with everything Tessa has gone through, there is a lot more maturity in other senses.

Each book has a cliffhanger, so if you're not into that, I'd suggest wait until the end. However, this section ends with this book, so there is a bit of completion with this one.

I enjoyed the plot in this one...I would highly recommend reading all 3 parts one right after the other if you can. It helps you stay connected to the characters and the story better. And really, all 3 parts combined amount to the length of one regular book. I plan on reading the next 3 parts when they come out!

Continues from where part 2 ended and just when you think it couldn't get any better it does. Wonderfully written, fast paced, great plot. I am absolutely loving this series, it's addicting. I can't wait to read more.

There was a big twist in this series and I couldn't believe it. I like the series because of it, but everything happened too quickly for me to have a grab on something. I'll probably right something more when I can focus.

That's not how I wanted it to go. So far the second one has been my favorite. But this was still really good. I get mad every time life pulls me away from my book. I'm even considering sacrificing my nap so I can read the next one. Shit just got real.
