Seriously, Pittacus Lore's voice was kinda creepy. The whole series is awesome! The transmission explained the extent of Number 7's legacy.

Thank you GoodReads for allowing me the ability to easily find every scrap of text that is part of a series.

The Transmissions from Pittacus were included at the end of the audiobook, but they tried to make it sound like an old broken radio recording and it was a complete trainwreck. I couldn't stand to listen to any of it. So I figured someone probably transcribed the recordings and I was correct. There is a link to the website in the GR description section. Now that I have tracked it down and read the 10 minutes of pages, it seemed pretty worthless. I feel like I knew everything they said and it didn't add anything to the characters or storyline. It was very short and very obviously Duhhh...

These are always so cool. This is by far the most invested series I've ever read. What I mean by that is that the authors, publisher, and marketing team have done wonders to really bring this series to life. These transmissions just make you believe in this world completely.

Es tan corto que no da tiempo a aportar nada nuevo a la saga, y es una pena porque de esta forma nos podrían haber dado información complementaria que nos ayudara mejor a conocer a los lorienses, sus legados o alguna cosa importante, pero solo han sido repeticiones de cosas que ya sabíamos.

I feel like there was so much potential in this if they had just formatted it differently but the paragraphs just felt very stilted and boring.

This is not necessarily a book but more of a list of 7 audio files with near-verbatim transcriptions. These transmissions are supposedly direct messages to the audience from Pittacus Lore himself. They, essentially, provide a little bit more detail and explanation about various thing concerning the current members of the Garde: 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10 in addition to some opinion pieces from Lore.

These transmissions are more of teaser leading up to Book 3 of the series: The Rise of Nine. As a result, not much new information is provided; so, these transmissions can leave the listener/reader feeling a little empty.

Also: the voice of Pittacus Lore is made out to be hella creepy and strange. He voice artists stumbles of some words and even slurs a lot. While the deliver is not the best, I think the affect Lore was going for was effectively achieved.

It was good but I kind of expected differently... I thought it was going to explain stuff about the gardians but it was more like explain the garde's gifts and ally... Still good but I would give it 3.5...

Wow, those transmissions sure are creepy! It just makes the whole series alive and real! (Well, technically, the transmissions did tell us that all these books are real, so uh, let's just say that these transmissions made it all believable!) I am so happy for the extra effort, esp for the people behind iamnumberfourfans.com, YOU GUYS ARE SO AWESOME! I LOVE LOVE LOVE WHAT YOU DID! Hah, I swear I'm in this fandom full on! :D

Creo que no aporta nada de info, quizás salvo a lo ultimo con lo de Seis. Y hasta creo que me spoilea con la parte en donde habla de la curación de Marina que dice: Y entrenado este legado no se sabe el alcance que tendrá, acaso Marina va a poder revivir gente muerta???

Técnicamente, no he leído nada. Me sorprende que haya podido encontrar en Soundcloud estas transmisiones de Pittacus Lore, "autor" y "Dios" de la saga de los Legados de Lorien. Básicamente, solo recapitula y habla sobre algunos de los personajes. Técnicamente, hay también grabaciones dirigiéndose a los humanos que lo escucharan para que en un futuro ayudaran a los Legados cuando llegaran a la tierra. Imagino que sería cómo se pusieron en contacto con los nueve humanos que ayudaron a los cêpan al llegar al planeta.

Qué guay era aquella época en la que las narrativas eran transmedia y no solo se quedaban contenida en los libros.

Menos de lo que esperaba pero estoy satisfecha y prometo cuidarme de los peligros que mencionó Pittacus Lore. Wow... Oficialmente termine Los Legados de Lorien (bueno me falta Generación Uno) pero fuera de eso acabe la saga original y Wow la amo demasiado❤❤❤❤. Sabes que leiste un buen libro si cuando lo terminas sientes que perdiste a un amigo y asi me paso con esta saga. Los amo a todos y nos volveremos a encontrar mi hermosa garde.❤❤❤❤❤

People actually cannot “read” the transmissions as these are podcasts (which took me a while to find).
