Although Eddie and his friends are having a great time at the spring carnival, riding the rides seems a lot less interesting when they realize a tiny woman selling T-shirts is really a troll scaring kids.

I loved the idea of an angry troll trying to ruin all the fun. At first I was like, why is it even there if it hates all that noise. Any type of amusement park is probably one of the loudest things in the world. But then when they were reading the little legends that came with the trolls it kind of made sense. The trolls with the jewels are the ones that love everything, and the ones without want to ruin everything.
Doing the good deed will earn you a jewel in your belly button, and it's a good thing that the troll, being all angry and mean and everything, seemed to like Eddie.
And Eddie won.
So was she really a troll?
I'm going to say yes.

The collection of "The adventures of the Bailey School Kids" stories are among my all-time favorite children's books. Witty, mischievous and fun, these short and silly books continue to bring giggles to the young and old. Just as I have enjoyed them as a kid, my own children also love them today. I even catch myself re-reading them (alone) from time to time. What can I say? I guess I'll always be a BSK kid at heart.
The Bailey School Kids is a best-selling children's book series by Marcia Thornton Jones and Debbie Dadey. Its main characters are a group of four children (Eddie, Howie, Liza, Melody) who suspect some persons in the stories are popular folk lore or fairy tale characters. They are appealing because they mix a familiar story in with this group of kids. Mid-grammar school
The kids are checking out a new roller coaster that is now famous all over the city. The operator is suspected of being a troll, mainly since he appears to live under a bridge in the park and due to his appearance. He also hates the sun and loud noises (meaning he takes an instant dislike to Eddie). And many of the rides keep breaking down for inexplicable reasons.
A silly series that creates more questions than it answers. It's great for formulating theories as well as predictions. The class dynamics should be very familiar to those of the Magic School Bus generation.
Another favourite series of mine as a kid. Even then though they can be quite repetitive. Each book has some kind of 'monster' that the kids must investigate. A little bit of mystery makes for an entertaining book.
this book is also good because this first ive ever read. it s funny because usally its not what they think it is but insread it is actuall a troll. haha!
