The most useful part for me is the model used to explain what is self-esteem. The other reason is that this book includes many excises which you could practice by yourself. Since I am not a christian, the last two chapters about God leads to less influence to me.
This book gave me some good strategies to try with my son. I appreciated the format as it was easy to skim to find relevant sections and exercises and ones that I just didn't see working for me.
Really seemed like more of a "let's put a book together about yoga/meditation/mindpower" more than it was of how to actually improve your own state of mind about yourself (a different perspective, I guess?)
Started off well, but lost steam as the book progresses. I still found a lot of helpful chapters in here, and would recommend this book to people who want to build their self-esteem!
