Miss Brainy is actually smart and able to answer people's questions. We see several of the Mr. Men in the story and she makes her way to Cleverland and there she meets animals like Elephant, Lion, and Pig.
Nephew loved seeing the Pig in the Tree. A pig was stuck in the tree and needed help getting out of it. He loved seeing that and it made him giggle. He also loved to see the red lion. He thought that was cute. He had fun with this and he gave this 4 stars. Its all about the pig in the tree.

Ah, Mr Men and Little Miss, how wonderful you are!
These books made up so much of my childhood. No matter what I would go ahead and pick one up. I worked my way through them all a couple of times. Each one has a wonderful story for the child to engage with, each character being fun to read.
Everyone has a bias for their favourite character, yet every book is delightful.

I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.

The best bit, alas, was Mr Messy's cameo.

I enjoyed this book because I like to be smart. I also enjoyed this book because Little Miss Brainy was super duper smart.

Little Miss Brainy discovers that answering questions can cause unforeseen problems.

Another classic from Hargreaves as I now have ten books to go to complete the series. It has been very enjoyable, and this is no exception, a great time to be had for all readers. I wonder if Alex will like or dislike being brainy. These things keep me awake at night.

The first book in this series I've ever read! Despite not being a member of the target audience, it was a pleasant enough read. Short, slightly silly, and well illustrated.

Faster than you can scratch your head, trying to figure out the character of Little Miss Brainy...
She tells you, herself, about her particular form of hyper-intelligence: Simply by sharing her wisdom.
Goodreader, you know the saying, "One man's meat is another man's poison."?
Like that... One sentence from Little Miss Brainy just might be enough to make you feel that you are really, really clever.
Perhaps a bit more sarcastic than the other Little Miss books I've read so far, yet devastating!
FIVE SMART STARS to Roger Hargreaves!

I'm of the opinion that all of the books in these series are quaint. HOWEVER this one is not my favourite. I suppose the intension is to give the rude know-it-all their comeuppance (much like what happened with Mr Clever) but it comes across more like no-good-deed-goes-unpunished here.

Little Miss Brainy is annoying and not brainy in the slightest. It’s a two from me.
