Visiting Ruby Mountain during a class trip, Eddie spots enormous tracks on the dirt trail and becomes convinced that the prints belong to the square-dancing teacher, a large, hairy man who resembles Bigfoot. Original.

I remembered these books being quite funny, but now after every corny one-liner, I keep hearing the "wahh wahh wahhhhh" background music from Scooby Doo. Still, very amusing. Reluctant young readers would enjoy.
Meh. This was ok. Definitely not my favorite of the Bailey School Kids stories. The plot just really fell flat. There really wasn’t much that happened.
They saw “Bigfoot”, but that was about it. There really wasnt anything else weird that actually happened. For example, it would be better if maybe they could have seen him super hairy with his shirt off and that could have been another clue or maybe Mr. Squash could have made weird grunting noises. I dunno, but it just didn’t feel like much happened compared to the others.
The only thing I did like in this one is that park ranger had no idea who that man was, had never heard of him and acted like he didn’t even exist. And then of course he disappears at the end!!!
This was another cute installment in the Bailey School Kids series. While definitely not the strongest title, I still had a lot of fun reading it. I wish that the "monster" would have played more of a role, however, as he was only in a couple of scenes.
The collection of "The adventures of the Bailey School Kids" stories are among my all-time favorite children's books. Witty, mischievous and fun, these short and silly books continue to bring giggles to the young and old. Just as I have enjoyed them as a kid, my own children also love them today. I even catch myself re-reading them (alone) from time to time. What can I say? I guess I'll always be a BSK kid at heart.
A school group goes on a trip to Ruby mountain where they meet an overly hairy, extremely large man. Eddie, Liza, Howie and Melody investigate to find out if this man is actually Bigfoot. This book is a fun read for kids and also teaches not to judge people by their appearances.
Eddie notices huge tracks on a dirt trail while visiting Ruby Mountian. He becomes convinced that the tracks he has spotted are prints of Bigfoot. This would be a book I would have in my class for students to read for fun.
they went on a field trip. it was to ruby mountain. eddie saw huge tracks. he thought they were bigfoot's they were bigfoot's. they went back to the mountain alone!
Another funny and interesting Bailey School Kids tale. The kids encounter a square dancer whom they suspect of being bigfoot (and of having eaten the dentist).
