I am a little confused with the relationship with Holo and Lawrence now that Norah has been introduced, but I am looking forward to seeing what this new character will bring to the plot; she seems very interesting. Yet again another riveting cliff hanger that makes me want to read the next book, however, I found this book to be more on the trading and business side of world it is based in rather than the relationship between Holo and Lawrence. I found this useful because now I understand the world's rules a bit more and Lawrence's trade, it helped me get my mindset into the land a bit more and feel more involved in the law of the world. Overall, an amazing book that makes me want to read more.

I wonder how far into the anime the series has gotten from the manga. Anyway, looks like Holo and Lawrence have set for another town, gain a maybe friend and deal with their profits and what scheme they should do next, etc. Another good volume.

Another solid entry. While this volume spent quite a bit of time focused on history and world building the end was beyond gripping. The world truly seems lived in and that we are only seeing a small portion of it. Norah seems like she will be an interesting character to follow.

This is a good manga to read but I simply lost interest in reading the story and, continuing Lawrence and Holo’s journey.

It really did seem like this volume entered a new story arc, it was good and well paced. I like the characters, and the interactions with Norah. The plot was good too.
I think an additional thing I like about this manga is the lack of bonus content, there may be bonus chapters at the end, but they do somehow tie to the story, there is very little in these manga that are unrelated to the story.
The illustrations are good and clear to look at (I feel sometimes manga illustrations are messy and cluttered- this is not).
Enjoyable volume and I can't wait to continue.

Forever a 5 star I’m glad that I’m reading the series people should know more about it and it’s also making me want to watch the anime because it’s been awhile since i have seen it but then again I loved it and recommend it.

This volume was predominantly slice of life with many fun moments between Holo and Lawrence. Norah makes he big entrance and builds a relationship with Lawrence. Holo is adorable in this volume. It wasn't until the very end and the cliffhanger that the story really moves forward.

Swelled with pride from his transaction in Poroson, where he was almost had, Lawrence makes his way, with Holo, to Ruvinheigen to make his profits grow even more. Along the way, he hires a shepherdess named Norah to assure his safety along a road that was rumored to be within wolf hunting grounds. Safe on their travels, the three finally arrive at Ruvinheigen, and Lawrence and Holo part ways with Norah.
When Lawrence goes to an old guild friend for a certificate, he sees a strange reaction when he mentions his stock and where he plans to make profit of it. And once he arrives at Latparron, he finds out why... They've gone bankrupt, and soon shall Lawrence!

I can never figure out where to start any kind of a review for this manga series. I'm not even sure why I keep reading this series, but I don't recall ever once considering dropping this series. Although, it has been over a year since I read volume three, so some of these things in this volume confuse me. But anyway... Again, this manga successfully shows the ins and outs of the business world. The experiences you have, the dealings you have, etc..
I enjoyed it, but I don't have much to say about it other than what I read in the bonus track at the end of the volume. Norah is pretty adorable, I'll admit that. But... I don't understand. What happened at the end of the chapter? Was she raped? Poor girl. Taking into account that she is property of the church, a young and pretty [virgin] girl, her meek demeanor and signs of abuse or secrecy, and the not-so-false stereotype of priests that molest children, it isn't unlikely that Norah was raped. That's horrid. I hope she can find her way out of their clutches. And what did they do with Kenneth, the boy that was supposed to accompany her? I hope he is alright.

holo and Lawrence stumble upon an cheep merchant that is trying to get them drunk and using an off balance scale. and Lawrence makes the merchant give them some armor for trying to trick them. the merchant gives them the armor and then Lawrence and holo leaves for the next town. when they get near the town the road is blocked because there are mercenaries ahead of them. so they decides to take a longer way bu it is rumored to be guarded by wolves. so they find a shepherdess (Norah from the other books) so she can protect them for wolves and foxes. they finally get to the city but when they try to sell the armor they find out its worthless and that Lawrence is now bankrupt. and has too pay it off in two days.

Holo and Lawrence continue on their quest for wealth and good fortune, traveling a new road where they meet a shepherdess, who accompanies them to Ruvinheigen. Our dear little Wisewolf continues in her playful ways, flirtatious as always and on the edge of trouble-making.

A nice description of buying on the margins and the importance/power of trade guilds and the value of the connections they bring.

So the last volume, we were sort of mysteriously introduced to Norah... there seems to be something up or wrong with her but we never really know. She shows up again in this volume and the entire time I was waiting to see what her deal was... but there wasn't much of anything. She seems pretty normal, so I wonder what sort of twist is coming with her.

The end of this volume was pretty cliffhanger-y! So I'm curious to see what is going to happen next!!

I know that it's a beautifully drawn story but I don't know why I have read this far and am starting the next one. it's all about the money and trading system of this world and that part is actually quite boring. I guess I'm hoping that the relationship between the two main character develops more because that's really the kind of thing that I like reading.
