In addition to the standard codes of conduct one would hope we follow on a lovely site like Goodreads, we also expect everyone to remain civil, polite, use reason when arguing their points, make no personal attacks, and in general try to contribute to the conversation rather than cause an argument. We are focused on inclusivity, so please don't tell someone who doesn't agree with, say, representation of a person of color in a book, that they are being "overly sensitive" or "whining" (that's an example).

Just treat others with respect and all will be copacetic.
