Ok, before we start to get judgemental, I must redeem myself by saying that I only read this book to gain a better opinion of a girl that I'd quite honestly only heard bad things about.

When I first saw the book, I was honestly surprised that Cyrus had gained a degree of literacy, but, we learn something new everyday.

When I first saw the book, I was honestly surprised that Cyrus had gained a degree of literacy, but, we learn something new everyday.

The story documents her life from birth to her current career as a 'singer' and 'actress'. With heavy use of inverted commas. The book is broken up with sections of pictures. I credit her for doing this, clearly her readers need some breaks in the text to absorb and reflect on what they'd read, so they could truly understand the depth that this book goes into. The picture are 'personal' with 'cute' captions accompanying them, to make the gullible pre-teen fan of Cyrus feel like they have been welcomed into their inner circle. *Note. You will only really be accepted if you have suitable hot pants and bong techniques.*

Of course, no autobiography would be complete without the obligatory sob story of the girl's struggle through high school bullying. The endurance through the harsh teasing must have been hard for her to deal with, but she succeeded and has climbed her way to the top, to make herself a suitable role model for young girls.

My favourite part of the book was were we really got into the nitty-gritty of Miley's life, and it made me realize that underneath the perfection, she really is just a normal girl like me! The reader is told, in excruciating detail the story of Miley's trip to the mall, where, OH NO!, she forgets her tampons. But help is on the way in the form of the women's toilets where they are readily available. Rescued! It's good to know that celebrities are real people just like you and me (though I would have preferred to learn this by knowing that Miley had run out of toothpaste, NOT sanitary products.)

So, as you can see, I thoroughly enjoyed the book, and I do look forward to reading the next instalment of Miley's life. Hopefully I can pick up some tips on the best way to pole dance at a children's awards show, and the best camera angle to film myself at smoking from a bong. Thank you Miley for guiding me throughout my teenage life!(less)

Honestly, I didn’t expect much when I started to read this. It was mostly out of curiosity since I would have loved her when I was 11. She discusses very real and important things for young girls such as bullying, not getting along with people you have to work with, feeling ugly and depressed, losing grandparents. When I was younger, I really liked Miley. She was such an inspiration and super gorgeous. I got this book as a present and read it over and over agian. She actually is a good writer. She makes her autobiography enjoyable and fun, as if you're a part of the story. Okay, so when I was younger I was absolutely obsessed with Miley Cyrus so I read her autobiography in 4th grade. I remember how the book starts with her hands, how she tried calligraphy on a plane, and her journey to be Hannah Montana. The book miles to go by Miley Cyrus is a very easy to read non-fiction book. This book is a new your times best seller and has many good reviews. I thought this wasn’t a bad book when I began reading it, it was actually quite good. The book miles to go by Miley Cyrus is a very easy to read non-fiction book. This book is a new your times best seller and has many good reviews. I thought this wasn’t a bad book when I began reading it, it was actually quite good. When you read this book the first things you will notice is how big in font the words are and how she adds her own side-notes and opinions. Her writing style is different than most people who write nonfiction.

Miley Cyrus wrote the book miles to go to tell about her struggles and accomplishments in life. By the time Miley was eleven years old she had become Hannah Montana but nobody knows what it took her to get there, do they? In the beginning of the book she talks about her life in Tennessee before she became Hannah Montana. She also hits on the subject of bullying with her own experiences but the book is way more than that. The book starts out with her just talking about her hands because it is part of what started it all. She was originally born left handed but her dad taught her to play a right handed guitar. Some people might say there was no point in doing this because she is left handed but he knew how hard life was when you are left handed. In the book it states “left handed people have to learn the world backwards.” Her father says this because he is also left handed and knows there are many difficulties. She grew up in her fathers footsteps doing whatever he did she wanted to be an actor and a singer. That is not all she loved though she also loved cheerleading because her mom did.

Although she talks a lot about things that she loved she also talks about her struggles before and during Hannah Montana. Before she was Hannah Montana she struggled with bullying. Everyday she went to school she was taunted by three other older girls but would never tell anybody. She though that leaving Tennessee and creating her new life in la would make things better but that is not always true. When you run away from your problems they don’t all just go away but you have to face new ones as well. In la she faced braces, acne, and dramatic co-stars. Some days were definitely better than others but it happens to the best of us.

There are many themes to this book as well as any others. I believe you can really take something from this book no matter who you are because every choice you make can affect the future and life isn’t perfect and nobody else is either. Miley might make really dumb decisions but she can at least admit she did it and then try to fix it as well as she can. You never know what is gonna come next all you can do is prepare for it and hope everything turns out ok. I recommend this book for anyone that needs to read an autobiography or like nonfiction. This book is also good for girls who like Miley Cyrus.

Ok, so let me start off by saying before I read this book, I was not a huge fan of Miley. In fact I kind of hated her. I saw this book on a shelf at the library the other day and picked it up as a sort of joke. Little did I know that I'd finish it in less than a day.

First up, I read this at a friend's sleepover, six in the morning. Sun streaming through the window, she was snoring, I didn't dare wake her up. So I grabbed a book and read.

I don't know why, and I can't figure it out no matter how hard I try, why I find Miley Cyrus interesting. I also find her annoying. But I find most celebs annoying. I like most of her music. MILES TO GO changed my opinion of Miley, too. Judging only by her music and the magazines, my expectations for Miley (and the book) were pretty low. I thought, like a lot of other folks out there, that Miley had the "dream life" and was spoiled. I think there might even have been hints of jealousy in the way I regarded her.

MILES TO GO changed my opinion of Miley, too. Judging only by her music and the magazines, my expectations for Miley (and the book) were pretty low. I thought, like a lot of other folks out there, that Miley had the "dream life" and was spoiled. I think there might even have been hints of jealousy in the way I regarded her.

That's completely all gone now. MILES TO GO makes Miley more real and brings her closer to her fans. Miley Cyrus is suddenly more down-to-earth, normal, and EXTREMELY relatable -- so relatable, in fact, that it's astonishing that someone so typical could go so far and climb such a tall ladder.

Once you've finished turning the last page, you wish there was more to Miley's story. It's the kind of fun, spunky, gotta-keep-reading book (autobio, in this case!) that you wish had an inch or more in it. I'm not saying it was uncomfortably short, I'm just saying that Miley kept me excited for the next page and so caught up in her story that I didn't want the book to EVER end.

You can tell that Miley is so humble, compassionate, and really cares about essential morals and values. She knows what she's here for, and through the pages her euphoria at performing is so clearly evident that it makes you smile.

One thing that really struck me and made Miley Cyrus, international pop star sensation, so much more likable was the fact that she performs and sings because it makes her (and a ton of people, obviously!) happy. Because she's been singing and acting since forever, and just to continue a lifetime of what she loves, she's acting on HANNAH MONTANA and producing albums.

By the end of MILES TO GO, I saw Miley Cyrus as a caring, ambitious girl who's so grounded and aspires to be so much greater than she already is in life. This is the kind of person you'd love to be friends with. The compassionate group of people out there -- a group that tends to be relatively on the smaller side.

The book also made me want to dream bigger and be the best person I can be -- trying as hard as I can, because I know there's always a reward at the end of the road. Miley taught me to aspire.

I would give a lot more now to know this girl now. Not just because I was suddenly aware of actually how popular she is, but because she shines through as such a charming, charismatic person -- and a perfect friend.(less)

This was actually sort of interesting. I like knowing people's backstories, and even though I'm not a huge Miley Cyrus fan, she is a huge icon nowadays. She does seem to be very grounded from this book, although it is very contradicting of what the media protrays her as. One has to wonder who is spreading the lies, Disney or the media?

Miley kept on going and kept on going she never ever gave up on anything she did. It also talked about how she wasn’t a very popular girl and she used to get locked in bathrooms by other mean girls, and she still made it this far. Along her journey she had to leave her friends and family behind and missed them so much. She wrote that it was very difficult to leave her friends and family and she said that it was also very hard to have to leave her school even though the kids were so mean to her there.
I really liked this story and how it was written. It was written as if it was almost like a diary of hers and it showed all of her little scribble outs and everything else that she wrote in there like little side notes. I love how it showed all of her baby pictures and all of the pictures of her in her signings and her journey pictures such as her cheerleading pictures and her tryout pictures. There was not one single thing that I dis-liked about this book! I also really liked this book because it was a very fast read and it was something that really kept you reading it even if you were tired. I would recommend this book to anyone, but it is mostly for teenage girls.(less)

People always get the wrong idea on Miley Cyrus, and they dont know her. It upsets me how people can make such a incocent girls life miserable in the real world for other people to judge her. I read this book a couple of years ago when I was 13. I remember when Hannah Montana first came out, I loved the show. I still think that Miley is just a plain ole regular human being who makes mistakes. She has lived such a privileged life, and I honestly think she's grateful for it. Yes, she did get involved wit a "bad crowd", but we all do. It's nothing new, y'all. Try to think about your life. Are you perfect?

I'm not really sure what to say about this book. Being an autobiography, there was obviously no plot or serious twists. I don't do biographies so im not sure why I owned this book in the first place. Also, after everything bad that's happened to Miley Cyrus in the last few years have kind of made me biased against reading this book.

As a hardcore Smiler, I found this book to be fantastic. It certainly lived up to all the hype it had generated. Miley's a brilliant author and this book is filled with great anecdotes and witty notes here and there. I enjoyed this book so much that I've read it around a hundred times. Okay...what I learned from this book? Well, I learned that Miley Cyrus isn't a BAD person...but there are still some things I dislike about her.
