"Honestly, when I wrote Good in Bed it was just to get myself feeling better after a really devastating break-up. When I published it, I thought that maybe there'd be 12 readers who were really interested in the plight of a plus-sized Philadelphian, and I'd know eight of them from Weight Watchers." ...More

"I think every person who is single should have a dog. I think the government should step in and intervene: If you're not married or coupled up, whether you've been dumped or divorced or widowed or whatever, they should require you to proceed immediately to the pound nearest you and select an animal companion."

"When I was five I learned to read. Books were a miracle to me - white pages, black ink, and new worlds and different friends in each one. To this day, I relish the feeling of cracking a binding for the first time, the anticipation of where I'll go and whom I'll meet inside."

"Cram your head with characters and stories. Abuse your library privileges. Never stop looking at the world, and never stop reading to find out what sense other people have made of it. If people give you a hard time and tell you to get your nose out of a book, tell them you're working. Tell them it's research. Tell them to pipe down and leave you alone."

Thank you for the add! :-) I have only read a few of your books so far, but have loved each of them! You have quickly become one of my favorite authors!
Just thought that I would drop you a line. I hope you read here. Certain Girls was a great book and I don't know how you are feeling about sequals, but Cannie is such a relatable character and I hope to hear about her again.
Your books are wonderful, Jennifer! I'm so pleased to find you on this site! I hope you continue to update your reading list because I'm very interested in what else you're reading. You know -- between now and your next publishment : )
Thanks for the add! Love your books, your style, your humor and wit, and I realize I sound like a stalking schmuck so I'll stop. Love your stuff though. : ) Cheers!
Thanks for adding me Jennifer. I love your books! I read Good In Bed in 2 days and then immediately started reading Certain Girls. I loved both of them. I have all of your books and I think you are a great author!
Hi Jennifer. Thanks for adding me, so nice of you. I love your books, the wit and humor. I tend to gravitate towards serious stuff in my writing, but I love diving into yours! All the best, Amjed
