“We learn to walk when we’re babies and never forget unless we’re drunk.”
Trent Zelazny, Shadowboxer

“I’m you, Blake. I’m a reflection of you, a multi-dimensional reflection. It’s easier to see a reflection of yourself than to see yourself in a reflection. It’s an inward/outward thing.”
Trent Zelazny, A Crack in Melancholy Time

“You build desires, and as a result, rather than just being who and what you are, you create one, ten, hundreds of false egos, which in turn create more desires until there’s no sense of self left anywhere in the jam-packed auditorium of schizophrenic nobodies.”
Trent Zelazny, To Sleep Gently

“When you're all alone out there, on the end of the typewriter, with each new story a new appraisal by the world of whether you can still get it up or not, arrogance and self-esteem and deep breathing are all you have.
