If you read my stuff expecting something like what my father wrote, I can tell you now, you will likely be disappointed.

So, yes, the sequel, or as I prefer to call it, the follow-up to Fractal Despondency, is now available as an audio book, read by Clifton Satterfield. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, and it's affordable, too. If you are an audio book person, check it out.

This is the first thing I've read by Jeffrey Kosh. I doubt it will be me last, matey. Kosh has a great handle on language and captures the time period he's writing in very well. Robert Louis Stevenson crossed with H.P. Lovecraft, but it's not that ei...more

“We learn to walk when we’re babies and never forget unless we’re drunk.”
Trent Zelazny, Shadowboxer

“Extinction, that’s where it’s going, that’s where we’re headed. And we’re going that way because we’re all so fucking afraid of it. We’re so afraid of dying off that we’re setting ourselves up for exactly that. Keeping away from each other, rarely making eye contact with those we don’t already know. Not helping when folks need help. Avoiding confrontation and staying away when we see anything which might instill fear. Doing our best to stay out of trouble, while in effect creating more trouble.”
Trent Zelazny, Shadowboxer

“I’m you, Blake. I’m a reflection of you, a multi-dimensional reflection. It’s easier to see a reflection of yourself than to see yourself in a reflection. It’s an inward/outward thing.”
Trent Zelazny, A Crack in Melancholy Time

“When you're all alone out there, on the end of the typewriter, with each new story a new appraisal by the world of whether you can still get it up or not, arrogance and self-esteem and deep breathing are all you have. It often looks like egomania. I assure you it's the bold coverup of the absolutely terrified.”
