Ta książka to po prostu zbiór podejść do refaktorowania różnych miejsc w kodzie. Prosty schemat: krótkie wprowadzenie do samego refaktorowania, potem receptura za recepturą. Nazwa refaktoru, uzasadnienie i podpowiedź kiedy go użyć (a kiedy nie!), przykład w kodzie JavaScript i przy tym trochę uwag.
Książka zgrabna i chwilami nudnawa, ale koniec końców wyciągnąłem z niej trochę pomysłów, zwłaszcza w kwestii obiektowego oprogramowania (dziedziczenie nie jest czymś, co lubię). Kilka rzeczy zazębiło mi się z innymi książkami i artykułami, co jest dużym plusem. Ogólnie, warto było kawałek po kawałku przez to przebrnąć. Nie spieszyłem się i zajęło mi to trochę ponad miesiąc.
