Kūrinys tikrai gerai parašytas. Kai reikia, yra greitas tempas, įtampa, kad išlaikytų susidomėjimą, o kartais istorija sulėtėja, kad pasijustum mažo miestelio gyventoju. Labai patiko pateikiama miestelio atmosfera, su jaukumu, kur gyventojai pažįsta vienas kitą, iš to sekančiu informacijos plitimu "iš lūpų į lūpas" ir kitais mažo miestelio niuansais.

Puikus vasariškas skaitinys. Romanas, žinoma, ne be trūkumų, bet man patinka tokio tipo lengvos knygos. Nežinau kodėl, bet man įdomiau, kai veiksmas vyksta mažuose ir nuošaliuose kampeliuose, o ne dideliuose miestuose. Šiek tiek detektyvo, šiek tiek romantikos, šiek tiek mistikos ir gamtos - kaip tik man.
Veiksmas ir veikėjų santykiai rutuliojosi gana tipiškai, bet nei kart nebuvau praradusi susidomėjimo ar pradėjusi nuobodžiauti ir laukti, kada jau čia ta pabaiga greičiau bus.
Na, o ta pabaiga... šiek tiek skystoka, sakyčiau. Todėl ir ne penkios žvaigždutės. Ne tik pati kulminacija šiek tiek nuvylė, bet ir tai, kas liko neaprašyta po jos. Taip norėjosi miestelio gyventojų reakcijos į tai, kas nutiko, kaip jie su tuo tvarkosi, kokie jų likimai ir koks tolesnis miestelio likimas. Gal čia tik mano smalsumas kalba ir visa tai nėra reikalinga šiai istorijai, bet skaitant atrodė, lyg kažkas būtų išplėšęs paskutinį skyrių iš knygos.
