Dr. Robert Cialdini has spent his entire career researching the science of influence earning him an international reputation as an expert in the fields of persuasion, compliance, and negotiation.

누구나 자신은 합리적인 판단을 한다고 생각한다. 하지만 인간은 제한된 지식과 환경 그리고 시간 때문에 판단의 기준이 흔들릴 수 밖에 없기 때문에 장사를 하는 사람들은 그런 판단의 취약점을 이용한 다양한 세일즈 기법이 만들어 지고 있고, 그중에는 거의 사기 수준인것들도 있다.
이 책은 인간이 판단이 왜곡되는 여러가지의 사례를 분석하고 그런 것들이 어떻게 광고나 세일즈 시장에서 활용되고 있는가를 설명해 주는 책이다.
