We’ve reached the third book, where everything smells like dust and heat—two things I absolutely hate.
به کتاب سوم رسیدیم، جایی که بوی خاک و گرما می‌ده؛ چیزهایی که من ازشون متنفرم.
In this book, Tahiri returns to her home planet, Tatooine, the famous Star Wars planet, to finally tell her tribe, the Sand People, whether she wants to stay with them or become a Jedi.
توی این کتاب، تاهیری به سیاره‌اش، یعنی تاتوئین، سیاره‌ی معروف استار وارز، برمی‌گرده تا بالاخره به قبیله‌اش که جزو مردم صحرا هستن، بگه که می‌خواد با اونا بمونه یا جدای بشه.
Actually, Tahiri was only allowed to go to Yavin 4 on the condition that she would return after a certain time limit and decide whether she wanted to stay with her tribe or become a Jedi.
در واقع، اصلاً با این شرط تاهیری رو به یاوین ۴ برده بودن که بعد از یه لیمیت برگرده و بگه می‌خواد بمونه یا می‌خواد جدای بشه.
And, as usual, Anakin goes with her. These two are friends, and they’re never apart for even a moment. And they’re so incredibly innocent... I don’t even know how to describe it.
آناکین هم طبق معمول باهاش می‌ره. این دوتا دوستن و حتی یه لحظه هم از هم جدا نمی‌شن. و به‌شدت معصوم... نمی‌دونم چطوری توصیفش کنم.
Purest white.
سفیدی خالص.
Another Jedi goes with them, too, but the Sand People have a different plan for Anakin and Tahiri.
البته یه جدای دیگه هم باهاشون هست، ولی مردم صحرا برای اونا یه نقشه‌ی دیگه دارن.
They leave Anakin and Tahiri stranded in the middle of the desert for seven days, telling them they have to find their own way back. Otherwise, they’ll kill Sliven, the leader of the group.
اونا آناکین و تاهیری رو هفت روز وسط صحرای شن ول می‌کنن و می‌گن خودتون باید برگردید پیش ما، وگرنه اسلیوِن رو، که رهبر گروهه، می‌کشیم.
And this is interesting: Sliven is basically a father figure to Tahiri. He was saved by her parents, but after they were killed, he took Tahiri under his wing. This, in turn, made the other members of the tribe look down on him.
و این جالبه؛ اسلیوِن حکم فیگور پدری تاهیری رو داره. کسی بوده که توسط پدر و مادرش نجات پیدا کرده، ولی بعد از کشته شدن اونا، تاهیری رو زیر بال‌وپر خودش می‌گیره و همین باعث می‌شه افراد قبیله بهش بد نگاه کنن.
Tahiri’s parents were Force-users, too, and honestly, you have to wonder just how many powerful Force-users Tatooine is going to produce! 😂
پدر و مادر تاهیری هم فورس یوزر بودن و آدم می‌مونه که تاتوئین مگه چقدر می‌خواد افراد فورس یوزر قوی بسازه! 😂
Along the way, Anakin and Tahiri even make friends with the Jawas.
آناکین و تاهیری توی این راه حتی با جاواها دوست می‌شن.
Yes, THE Jawas. The famous, thieving, adorable, persistent little guys with their giant sandcrawlers!
دقت کنید، جاواهای معروف، دزد و بامزه و سمج، با اون ماشین‌های گنده‌ی ایکانشون!
And here, I get to see another unusual ability of Anakin Solo’s: he can assess the condition of machines, ships, and similar equipment and tell whether they’re in good shape or not. He can spot their problems incredibly quickly.
و این‌جا یه قدرت عجیب از آناکین سولو می‌بینم و اونم اینه که می‌تونه وضعیت ماشین‌ها، سفینه‌ها و این‌طور وسایل رو بسنجه و بفهمه توی وضعیت خوبی هستن یا نه. می‌تونه خیلی سریع مشکلاتشون رو پیدا کنه.
If Jacen is exceptionally gifted when it comes to connecting with animals, I think Anakin has this amazing ability to recognize when machines are in good working order. Jaina, meanwhile, is an incredible duelist and, of course, is handy with repairs just like Anakin.
اگه جیسن توی توانایی ارتباط گرفتن با حیوانات خیلی خوب و زبان‌زده، آناکین هم به نظرم این ویژگی فوق‌العاده‌ی تشخیص سلامت ماشین‌ها رو داره. جیانا هم یه دوئلیست فوق‌العاده‌ست و البته مثل آناکین دستی توی تعمیرات داره.
Anakin and Tahiri encounter a krayt dragon, which is a pretty rare sight. But, well, these poor kids just aren’t lucky. Anakin ends up with a huge scratch across his chest. Even so, the two of them manage to work through their problems with teamwork once again.
آناکین و تاهیری با یه اژدهای کریت روبه‌رو می‌شن؛ چیزی که خیلی کم دیده می‌شه، ولی خب، بیچاره‌ها کم‌شانسن. آناکین یه خراش گنده نصیبش می‌شه، اونم روی سینه‌اش. ولی باز هم دوتایی با کار تیمی می‌تونن مشکلاتشون رو رفع کنن.
And finally, by calling out to Tahiri’s animal companion, a bantha, they manage to find their way back.
و بالاخره با صدا زدن حیوان تاهیری، که یه بانتاست، می‌تونن راه برگشت رو پیدا کنن.
I genuinely love Tahiri, her kindness, and her outlook on life. She really is a life-giving ray of sunshine in the truest sense.
من واقعا عاشق تاهیری و مهربونیش و دیدگاهش به زندگی‌ام. تاهیری یه خورشید زندگی‌بخش به معنای واقعیه.
Tahiri has a necklace bearing her parents’ fingerprints, and Sliven gives her his fingerprint, too. And just like that, the necklace becomes something that carries all three of their fingerprints.
و تاهیری یه گردنبند از اثر انگشت پدر و مادرش داره و اسلیوِن هم اثر انگشت خودش رو به تاهیری می‌ده. و این‌جوری یه گردنبند با سه اثر انگشت درست می‌شه.
Then Tahiri has a dream about her grandfather—and he has a lightsaber!
بعد تاهیری یه خواب می‌بینه، اونم از پدربزرگش که لایت‌سیبر داشته!
Pretty interesting, right?
بسی جالب، مگه نه؟
It’s a shame they never got to see how their daughter’s life turned out...
حیف که ندیدن زندگی دخترشون چطوری شد...
Luke nearly faints when he sees Anakin and Tahiri return. Anakin’s wound has become infected, and Tahiri has an injury on her leg, too. They’ve barely had enough food or water, and they’ve just spent an entire week on a potentially deadly adventure.
لوک بعد از دیدن آناکین و تاهیری نزدیک بود غش کنه. زخم آناکین عفونت کرده بود و تاهیری هم یه زخم روی پاش داشت. اینا آب و غذا هم درست‌وحسابی نداشتن و قشنگ یه هفته ماجراجویی مرگبار داشتن.
But do you think they take some time to rest? Nope.
ولی به نظرتون استراحت کردن؟ نه.
As soon as Anakin feels a little better, he heads straight for the temple to rescue the spirits of the children trapped inside the golden sphere and set them free. And, once again, they do it through teamwork.
تا آناکین یکم خوب شد، به سمت معبد راه افتاد و روح بچه‌هایی رو که توی گوی طلایی بودن، نجات داد و بیرون کشید؛ اون هم باز با کار گروهی.
Always together.
همیشه دوتایی.
Always together, and I LOVE IT.
همیشه دوتایی و من عاشقشم.
And in the end, it turns out that Ikrit has told Luke everything, and Luke tells them both how proud he is of them.
و آخرش هم معلوم شد که ایکریت همه‌چیز رو به لوک گفته و لوک بهشون گفت که به هر دوتاشون افتخار می‌کنه.
And yes, two kids managed to solve one of the galaxy’s mysteries and free the spirits of abused children. I’m proud of them, too.
و بله، دوتا بچه تونستن یکی از معماهای کهکشانی رو حل کنن و روح بچه‌های آزار‌دیده رو آزاد کنن. منم بهشون افتخار می‌کنم.
