In a very special issue of Rick and Morty, the family finds RICK'S SEVERED HEAD! Unable to find Morty, they assume both are dead and begin the somber steps of funeral arrangement. Meanwhile, Rick and Morty... have bigger problems.
This is one of the more complicated and much darker in tone storylines for this series. Jerry and Beth start arguing and airing their grievances and it gets really uncomfortable. Summer attempts to fix things even though she has no idea what to do; she just sees her family falling apart. And all the while Rick and Morty are inside the head of an alternate Rick, tapped into what's left of its/his memory.

Stuff like this really makes this series, and show, transcend being "just a comic/cartoon" and it's why I love it.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
This did a solid job telling a story without Rick and Morty present, as the rest of the Smiths deal with their absence. I admit I am a bit confused about whether this is supposed to be the same universe they end up in at the end of the prom episode of if it’s a universe where a similar incident happened to the Rick and Morty of this universe.
more inception-like episodes, that was a good one tho, except for the part with jerry an beth fighting, that was really boring, can't wait to go inside morty's brain in #13
If I could save only one tv show/comic..and I am a Simpsons, futurama and samurai jack fan. I bet I am other kinds of fan too, but I bet on Rick and morty .
