Oh my gosh, the angst!! she ends their fake dating 😈
-he tutors her before power outage. Then goes looking for her when she leaves to go to the restroom
-Valentine’s Day; makes friends with the shy guy, gifts that guy a cupcake, causing Sata to blow up
-shy guy confesses to her and tells Sata.
-Sata “doesn’t care” if she breaks up with him AND THEN SHE DOES IT. I may or may not have teared up.

Ahhhh that last chapter on this volume was truly satisfying. Honestly, I was starting to get sick of reading this manga because I highly dislike reading about relationships where one treats the other as some sort of toy or object. And I dislike it even more if the one being treated that way is happy about it. Now I'm sure they will still go back with each other but I hope from this point onwards Kyoya will actually treat Erika with respect. Otherwise, I might drop this series already.

Erika just wants to fit in with her friends as they are always going on and on about having boyfriends and one day she decides to make up her own. Little did she know that she would have to prove that she has a boyfriend and when forced to prove it she takes some random guys picture. How did she know he went to the same school. What's a girl to do now but ask him to be her boyfriend and shocking he agrees to pretend but he's not going to let her off easy.
I like Erika she's easy to relate to I feel like any of us would have done the same thing she did in order to fit in. However, I would have made sure the guy I was pretended to date didn't go to my school. I was so conflicted about Kyoya but the more we learn about him the more I'm starting to like him. He has some redeemable qualities.
I've had this one on my TBR list since I read a blog post about it ages ago. It's only recently started being published in English so I had to snap up the first two in the series as we wait for the third installment. I devoured both installments in one afternoon and I enjoyed them. It's a fast paced story that kept me turning each page wanting to know what will happen next.
I have high hopes for this odd friendship turning into more than just pretending. It feels very slow burn which is my favorite kind of romance. That artwork is beautifully done and very detailed the author has done a lovely job creating a captivating story. I'm looking forward to checking out more of the authors works as I wait for the next in the series to come out. Highly recommend if you like romance manga.

kyoya acting so cold really triggered me, and honestly if it wasn’t for the way erika acted near the end i would’ve gave this a lower rating. so glad she stood up for herself and realized he was out of pocket !

Erika is going overboard, as usual.
She wants to make the chocolate she will give to Kyouya.
She isn’t a great cook, so will she fail ?
Will Kyouya accept them, as he doesn’t like sweet things ?
Erika is in such a good mood she help a very shy, depressed classmate, Kusakabe who forgot his wallet.
Kusakabe thanks her again the next day.
As they walk to class Kyouya sees them and grabs Erika and makes it clear that she is his, and he doesn’t intend sharing.
Later she sees him very depressed again.
Kusakabe then tells her that his mother and sister get upset that he never gets chocolates on Valentines Day.
She decides to give him one cupcake from those she made for Kyouya,
and he is in Heaven, but Kyouya sees him with it, and that he is super happy.
What will Kyouya do ?
Ch 10
Kusakabe’s not as weak as we might have thought.
He confesses to Erika after her fight with Kyouya.
She isn’t interested until she overhears Kyouya bad mouthing her to Kusakabe, and him defending her, saying he would do his best to make her smile and be happy.
Since Kyouya is only amused by her, she goes out with Kusakabe.
Has the fake couple broken up for good ?
Looks like Kusakabe is in Heaven, again.
Looks like Kyouya isn’t happy to be free of her, as he thought.
His best friend Takeru warned him, but he kept on being mean to her.
Kyouya even yells at a girl at school.
Normally he would have smiled and played the part of Prince Charming for her.
Has Erika gotten to him ?
Is it too late for him, ah … them ?
Is there really a them ?
Kusakabe is working hard to impress.
Will he steal her heart and make it his own before Kyouya decides ?

Το τρίτο τεύχος της σειράς είναι από τα πλέον αγαπημένα μου, αφού είναι πλούσιο σε ανατροπές και εκπλήξεις που ταράζουν τις ισορροπίες και αλλάζουν τα δεδομένα της ιστορίας. Η νέα χρονιά έχει έρθει και μαζί με αυτήν, το ξεκίνημα μιας νέας σχολικής περιόδου. Στο πρώτο από τα τρία κεφάλαια, η Erika, αντιμετωπίζοντας τον κίνδυνο να κοπεί στις εξετάσεις και να χάσει τη χρονιά, ζητάει από τον Kyouya να την βοηθήσει να διαβάσει, κάτι που εκείνος δέχεται αν και όχι πολύ πρόθυμα. Μετά τα γεγονότα των Χριστουγέννων, οι σχέσεις των δυο τους έχουν αποκατασταθεί, επιστρέφοντας ωστόσο στο σημείο που ήταν και πριν τον καυγά τους, με τα αισθήματα της Erika να γίνονται όλο και πιο δυνατά, αλλά και με τον Kyouya να αρχίζει να δείχνει κάποια ψήγματα ενδιαφέροντος, έστω και σε ανθρώπινα πλαίσια. Τα πράγματα θα γίνουν ακόμα χειρότερα όταν εκείνη θα κρυφακούσει κατά λάθος μια συζήτηση που έχουν τα δύο αγόρια, με τον Kusakabe να δηλώνει στον Kyouya πως εκμυστηρεύτηκε στην Erika τα συναισθήματά του γι' αυτήν, και με τον δεύτερο να δηλώνει πως δεν έχει καμία πρόθεση να την διεκδικήσει, κάτι που οδηγεί την Erika στην απόφαση να πάψει να είναι το Λυκοκόριτσό του. Φυσικά, το τεύχος μας αφήνει σε κρίσιμο σημείο, έτσι, για να μας σπάσει τα νεύρα, πετυχαίνοντας να εντείνει την αγωνία μας για το μέλλον της σχέσης των δύο πρωταγωνιστών, που δεν φαντάζει πλέον τόσο ονειρικό. Βέβαια, έχει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον η αντίδραση της Erika στην όλη κατάσταση, αφού παρά τα συναισθήματα που κρύβει στην καρδιά της, αντιδρά ήρεμα και ψύχραιμα και επιλέγει να ακολουθήσει μία μη παθητική οδό, και να πάρει τη ζωή της στα χέρια της, προσπαθώντας να ξεχάσει και να αρχίσει και πάλι από το μηδέν. Ενδιαφέρουσες είναι και οι αντιδράσεις του Kyouya, αφού για πρώτη ουσιαστικά φορά, τον βλέπουμε να χάνει την ψυχραιμία του, επιτρέποντας στο τόσο καλά μελετημένο προσωπείο του να πέσει, ακόμα και μπροστά σε τρίτους. Η παρουσία του Kusakabe σίγουρα ταράζει τα νερά, αλλά το κάνει με έναν τρόπο ειλικρινή και καθόλου βεβιασμένο και κυρίως, με τρόπο ρεαλιστικό που έχει άμεσο αντίκτυπο στο όλο story, το οποίο αρχίζει να παίρνει μια διαφορετική τροπή, που θα μας εισάγει σε μια νέα εποχή.

Love that she stood up for herself!!!! This very much is a stupid high school thing to do and it’s easy as an adult to see it that way but I’d I had been more like Erika in high school I may have done the same thing so I don’t really blame her. I think what keeps me coming back to this series is seeing him actually fall for her and I’m assuming we’ll get a real reason why he is this way. I think he’s falling for her bc he can actually be himself not really because he can manipulate her

Volume 3 of Wolf Girl and Black Prince continues right after Christmas break. Erika is excited for Valentines Day and even gets approval to bake something for Kyoya. But when the shy Kusakabe begins to get closer to Erika, Kyoya can’t help but act out. Will they survive the arrival of a new love interest?
I forgot how emotional this series actually gets. I’m so glad I’m re-reading it. It is such a solid plot and it covers so many adored tropes of the rom-com manga genre. It makes me feel like I’m 15 again reading for the first time. It definitely still holds up too. Even Erika’s character is not as whiny as many of the FMCs were of the time.
The only bad thing is that it was too short! They added a one-shot at the end so I’m not sure if that affected the volume length. I want more! But then the one-shot was cute and I liked it so I can’t even be mad.
I can’t wait to continue reading this series! Hopefully to the end~

Things seem to be going well and Kyouya even gives Erika a hint as to the type of chocolate he might like, promising to eat them if they come from her. Unfortunately, Valentines Day rolls around and everything falls apart. While Erika was just trying to be positive and lift up a classmate, this seems to threaten Kyouya and as usual that means he acts like a jerk. Neither one of them seem to be truly happy that they are no longer claiming to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Kyouya seems to be getting an earful from the few guys that are talking to him while Erika is spending more time with her new friend, Kusakabe. Kusakabe has also declared that he likes Erika, throwing yet another curveball into the tale, though Erika's friends seem convinced they are just friends and she doesn't have a new boyfriend - at least not yet.

A study date and Valentine's Day. And the introduction of a romantic rival?
I'm gonna say it again. DUMP THE JERK! He's not worth it. The lie isn't worth it. You deserve better!
But Kyoya is the main character so of course him and Erika are supposed to be together. But I'm saying this to any reader who thinks what's going on so far is romantic, it's not. It's a parade of red flags. He's verbally and emotionally abusive. She's using him as a trophy boyfriend. This isn't a healthy relationship. Something has to change.
Also, there's a really good bonus story at the end called "I Ain't Your Clown" about letting yourself be yourself, especially if you're a girl and susceptible to social pressures.
This series has 16 volumes.

Finally, we have some progress! Kyoyo rejecting Erika’s Valentine’s Day cupcakes because he was jealous she nicely gave Kusakabe one of the extras was the catalyst to Erika finally giving up on Kyoyo and breaking up with him. Of course, Erika probably wouldn’t have done that if she hadn’t overheard Kusakabe confronting Kyoyo about his feelings (or lack there of) for her and heard Kyoyo’s lies about not caring about her at all. I don’t blame her, though - what is she supposed to do? At least Kusakabe is genuinely kind, even if he is a little strange with his self-esteem issues.

Lei è il contrario di come dev'essere una donna secondo il mio ideale e mi sta enormemente sulle scatole per questo. Allo stesso tempo la storia mi piace e i personaggi sono simpatici. Anche se devo capire cosa ci trovi Erika in un tipo come Kyoya. Kusakabe, invece, è tanto ninin.
Molto bella la storia bonus, in cui una ragazza che ha assunto il ruolo di clown della classe ha un sacco di difficoltà per abbandonare quel ruolo.

Erika and Kyoya keep running into hiccups in their relationship. Erika has fallen for Kyoya, but Kyoya is fickle in his interactions with her. Sometimes she is sure that he cares for her, other times she is very unsure of him. This does he or does he not gets trying on this reader's nerves so the ending twist comes as a bit of relief. Now the question is does Kyoya actual have feelings for Erika may come out.

Wolf Girl and Black Prince throws a curve into the high school romance tropes. Volumes 3 is full of ups and down and a twist ending leaves you hanging until volume 4. No worries Hatta-sensei gives us a cute chapter at the end that promises another story that I am excited to see develop in future volumes of WG&BP or as its own series.

I’m going to give Kyoya the benefit of the doubt. He definitely has feelings for Erika. I mean why get so upset/jealous over the freakin valentines cupcake?! He’s just a stubborn ass. There’s always a reason for someone being so mean and aloof. Boy’s got some issues to work through. And I’m okay with that. I like a male lead with flaws. And I also lowkey love sadists LOL.

I love the breakup plot-line!!! It’s so cute!! Anyways, this is definitely slowing down and not becoming such a completely love-bombing based romance. I’m really enjoying as Erika grows more as a person and realizes what exactly she needs from Kyoya in order for him to actually be with her. Also, Kyoya needs to get his shit together!! You’re missing out, man!!

Esos dos definitivamente son lindos, se ven más escenas un poco.... profundas, en las cuales la relación de los protagonistas toma otro curso completamente inesperado, ademas... Erika me encanta con sus locas ganas por enamorarse... es muy ilusa, pero Kyouya Sata está ahí para aterrizarla

bendito seas kusakabe-kun por aparecer como un aire fresco en este manga! kyoya y erika son demasiado tontos como siempre que no se dan cuenta de lo que tienen enfrente (más kyoya, porque ese si está bien tonto y mamon)

This manga just gets cuter and cuter!! I love all of it. From the study section to the wholesomeness of everything.

I honestly was gonna drop it but the way it ended im intrigued enough to read one more volume but I really just don't like the characters. I think I mightve liked this series more if I read it when I was younger because I had more of a tolerance for toxic relationships back then lol
