Urasawa's work often concentrates on intricate plotting, interweaving narratives, a deep focus on character development and psychological complexity. Urasawa has won the Shogakukan Manga Award, the Japan Media Arts Festival excellence award, the Kodansha Manga Award and the Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. In 2008 Urasawa accepted a guest teaching post at Nagoya Zokei University.

Die gesamte Reihe hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Man konnte mit den einzelnen Charakteren, gerade mit den Robotern, wirklich mitfühlen.
Ich fand das Ende erst etwas verwirrend aber die Geschichte wurde dann doch gut aufgelöst.
Das einzige was ich nicht gut fand war das die Rückblenden nicht angezeigt/angekündigt wurden. Dadurch hat man erst nach 2 Seiten gemerkt, dass es eine Rückblende ist und das hat mich beim Lesen etwas gestört.
Insgesamt aber super Serie die ich nur empfehlen kann.

Es ist vorbei!
Ein bittersüßes und ziemlich offenes Ende. Ich hätte nicht mit der Art von Ende gerechnet, aber ehrlich gesagt hätte ein Happy End auch nicht gepasst. Am Ende ging es mir ein bisschen zu schnell, aber es gab auch ein paar Plottwists. Ich bin definitiv ein Naoki Urasawa-Fangirl geworden und kann kaum erwarten mehr von ihm zu lesen.

Der Abschlussband einer außergewöhnlichen Geschichte, die einmal mehr bewiesen hat, dass Manga nicht nur Comics für kleine Kinder sind, sondern ein ernstzunehmendes Medium.
