Nenadchne, neurazí. Jazyk mi přišel trochu neohrabaný a popis chování postav by nevyhrál první cenu za uvěřitelnost. Oboje ale může být ovlivněno překladem a ich-formou.

Pokud hledáte složitou detektivku, kde je vrah překvapením i pro čtenáře zběhlého v louskání zapeklitých případů - tohle není takový typ knihy. Není to ani románek, odehrávající se kolem řešení případu. Není to ani o profilování nebo naturalistických popisech.
Je to zkrátka příjemně svižný příběh s patoložkou v hlavní roli. Ne, není extrémně inteligentní a vyhraněná jako Temperance Brennan od Kathy Reichs, ale je sympatická a uvěřitelná. Příběh ještě má své malé mouchy, ale v porovnání s technikáliemi počínajícího počítačového věku, na něž se dnes díváme přinejmenším s úsměvem (vytáčené připojení a telefonní modemy! Diskety!), to jsou detaily, na něž se velice rychle zapomene.
Ideální čtení na dovolenou, na cestu do/z práce, zkrátka příjemná oddechovka.
