35 Great Recipes You Wish Your Mother Made
Although this book does not contain pictures nor nutritional information it's a great book.
Love that the authors have experimented after going out to dinner to try to recreate a dish they had gotten at the restaurant.
Part of our family came from the Ohio area so some of the recipes are the same-except for a key ingredient that totally changes the flavor for the better.
Simple thing like cole slaw is transformed with no hard work. Authors have done their research as to the spices and herbs used in recreating things of beauty.
Along with the recipes, there are bonus recipes as well, tucked in between. There are also stories about how the dishes were made and the many experiments that led to the final product.
Trial and error and humor that went along with that. Feels like a family member telling me themselves along with the laughs, it's so down to earth.
For the nutritional information you should be able to substitute for a healthier option due to your dietary needs, in some of the recipes, experiment yourself.

The recipes sound wonderful. I can't wait to try them. They don't seem to be overly complicated. They sound delicious.
