Got this and several other non-fiction books on volcanoes to support home learning on Mr T’s school topic during lockdown. This was by far the best one; lots of really useful information, diagrams, maps and photos. I have abandoned the others and taken them back to the library. This is the one you need. I love referring to it and it has helped us complete lots of worksheets and mini projects.

A nice introduction to volcanoes for the young interested child. Quite technical but with appropriate use of scientific terms and awe-inspiring illustrations. Good for establishing readers and as inspiration / information for beginner readers.
