After having one of the best meals of our lives on the patio of Commander's Palace this winter, I had to get this amazing cookbook so we could relive our memories, and try some new things. Highly recommended!
This is a wonderful cookbook by Ti Martin, daughter of Ella Brennan and Jamie Shannon, Chef at Commander's Palace. The cookbook is packed with elegant and tasty recipes that you will want to prepare! It is an excellent resource in my library!
It is what it says it is, a classic roundup of cajun and creole dishes. It is not for the vegetarian as even the vegetable side dishes have meat/seafood flavoring.
The best meal of my life was at the restaurant in Las Vegas. (I hope go to the New Orleans restaurant some day.) I think there were 7 courses. Very interesting read and of course, scrumptious recipes. I love this cookbook.
