Think she is easier to follow than Gordon! Books are well set out, well written and great recipes. My kids are growing to eat her recipes, they do love her pasta recipes. The timings are spot on. There is a kind of honesty to her style of writing which I like. Have purchased her other books (although some are a recipes are a little same they will still get used).
homecook's recipes. just shows not all fancy cooks have time to cook for the kids and family. loved the pictures on the book, candid ones that kept it going. inspiring recipes? nah, not really. would I follow anything to cook? no, not likely. interesting read? well, that was a yes!
This is clearly one of the worst cook books that I have ever bought, have tried a number if the recipes, they have all ended up in the bin and as far as it being a cookbook directed at children as family fare my children have turned their noses up at the suggestions, not even heavy enough to use as a paperweight
