I rate this 4.5 stars.
This is by far the best book in the series so far. After vol. 6, I was seriously considering dnfing this series, but then finally in vol. 7, things started getting better and at that point, I only had 3 volumes left. I'm glad I kept reading, regardless of how much of a trainwreck it's been.
I'm still wondering how Haruma is always so many steps ahead and how everything is always in his favour since like I said in my review of vol. 6, he's not a billionaire and he’s not the leader of a big group, so how does he keep staying ahead of everyone!? At least with other yanderes, they are rich and powerful, they usually have a group of people they are in charge of, wheather it’s a big company or a mafia group, but this guy has nothing, which is part of what makes him not seem intimidating. In fact, Yoh is the one who's rich (her mom is the ceo of a big company) but the reason she doesn't have the upper hand is because of her goody two shoes personality and because she's so naive, dense and very foolish to the point that it's not even endearing.
Thank God things finally started to get interesting again, I was getting bored and annoyed with this story. Judging by how brainwashed (or maybe it's just her extremely forgiving nature and or her obsession to be kind to people regardless of what they've done because poor Haruma, ugh) she is and the cover of vol. 10, they'll end up together.
As I’ve stated in my reviews for the previous volumes, I love yanderes and dark romance but I don’t like Haruma and I’m not exactly sure why but I had a few guesses. Part of it could be the main character, she’s just not as interesting. Anyways, other dark romances have interesting main characters that the yandere is obsessed with and he wasn't that interesting either and while he was adorable as a kid, he's not that good looking as an adult, at least not my taste. Whenever he or other characters who are liars are supposed to seem menacing, they just seem goofy to me, maybe it's the dialogue or maybe it's because there are too many characters in this series like that, or maybe it's just not written that well (*cough* Oshi no Ko is better at the liar characters *cough*). So you can bet I was shocked that there is a series with a yandere in it that I don’t like😳
Maybe I'll update this review when I figure out how to say what else I want to say later.

Love and Heart keeps me wondering just how high or how far the flames of the trash fire will spread.
In this volume, I enjoyed seeing the other characters' backgrounds with Yoh going back to college entrance exams, or even further back to junior high. It makes the usual shoujo manga trope of everyone in the cast being obsessed with her a smidge more believable, when you see how she is personable and compassionate, but does nothing in self-interest, i.e. to draw boys to her. She's also rather impenetrable, not letting others in.
Yoh has said many times that she's still in love with Haruma, even when faced with everyone around her responding with horror to the things he's been doing to her. So, uh... live your life in a prison of somebody else's making, if that's your thing? Ugh...
I wonder if Yoh will make it to the airport, and if she does, how things will shake out there. How is Haruma always one step ahead of everyone else? This review makes the excellent point of wondering how this can happen, when Haruma isn't a rich boy with infinite minions and resources.

That was when I realized Yoh is a nice person who doesn't wear a mask. But she doesn't wear her true feelings, either.Come down to it, I'm not all that fond of the kind of story this is. Maybe a "dark romance" will come along that breaks my resistances down, and makes me see the appeal of a wicked ML. This ain't the one, though. I'm kind of assuming I'm not supposed to be nurturing a hate-on for Haruma the whole time, but that's what's happening here.

I'm totally 😱😱😱😱 things escalated real quick! I think I'm more shocked by Yoh's reaction to and way of dealing with the situation than I am at Haruma's behavior!!! I admire her for her patience (or perhaps foolishness) but I think that's a big burden she's carrying on her shoulders 💔 I'm LOVING this story, but one cannot possibly deny the amount of toxicity and red flags emanating from this relationship! I mean it was clear from the very first volume that something wasn't right, and I'm not really surprised at how it turned out on Haruma's side of the story, but MAN is it hard to wrap my mind around the whole thing!! 😭💔 and that ending really left a lump in my throat, so I NEED to get to the next volume ASAP!!!

OMG the bonus pages just make it creepier!
