I've read it before and I'm reading it again. A huge eyeopener for anyone who is interested in the cultural heritage of the entire world. Brief articles on thinkers, cultural artifacts, social scientists, -isms, religions, music, artists, leaders, etc. Should be in everyone's reference section.
i actually wish this was a lot less western centric. i could do without a few of the american and english authors that nearly everybody knows about. this might be the best book of its kind now, but the idea could be easily expanded and improved. but anyways, hats off for a noble cause and slightly flawed execution.
