My Children enjoyed this book a great deal because it covered many of the things that we have been talking about since I enjoy ancient Egypt. Despite the common misconceptions held by modern people about Ancient Egypt, such as Ramses II building a Pyramid and the like, it is a delightful book of poems about this fascinating and poetic people

The rhymes definitely provide great anchors for remembering ancient history. I just wish the author had omitted the poem about Ramses II, due to the lack of evidence around Egyptian enslavement of the Israelites.
