[MB (What she read)]

By turns sinister and slightly silly all of these short stories suffered by being too short. My 2-star rating is indicative of this and is no way a reflection on the authors. I do want to give a 4-star to Joan Aiken's story which was new to me and a true joy to read with her whimsical humor which I miss.

Lots of well-known authors; surprised it has so few ratings and isn't available from the library.

...someone suggested it, got it from the library.
