Fun ideas on how to use tea as a social gathering. And how to do it well with style, comfort, creativity and some good looking recipes. I love tea and this book was a gift from a dear friend.

Another delightful book by this author with lovely illustrations by Sandy Lynam Clough. I have hot or cold tea every single day, and have enjoyed so many memorable tea parties in various establishments all over the world and close to home. I’ve loved them all. Like the author, I have a collection of tea cups and several teapots that I treasure. I’m eager to try several of the recipes, especially Apple Tea, which is so simple - use apple juice instead of water with a tea bag.

This is now one of my favorit books on tea. Not only does it have some great tips and nice recipies, but there are touching stories. This book reminds the reader that tea parties are important; even if you have them by yourself. It also touches on how one can have a tea party and not even drink tea as the act of a "tea party" is a time to connect, breathe and relax. I've decided to give this book as a gift to those I've enjoyed having tea parties with; it will help them see how much the tea party means to me.

This is much more practical than "12 Teas of Friendship," mostly because it specifies that you don't need all the "stuff" to have a successful tea. The prose is genuine, the information interesting, the quotations appropriate, and the recipes easy and well-defined. All in all, a successful and "pretty" book.
