My 12 year old daughter is learning to love baking with this book. On first glance, the book looks reasonably mediocre, with a sense the recipes are serviceable rather than sensational. The instructions are so clear and easy to follow for a beginner. The surprising part is that the results are also absolutely delicious. Highly recommend
