I don't understand... How amazing these books are. I'm seriously crying right now. Nothing sad happened in the book, I'm crying because it is so impossibly beautiful that my mind cannot even begin to comprehend how someone can create such a beautiful work of art, only from their minds alone. I don't understand how this is even possible, how this author doesn't get enough credit for what she's done. How utterly wonderful these books are. It's so... So amazing. I can't... I don't... What... Maybe it's a good thing she's not very popular, so there wouldn't be a movie about it, because if there was, everyone watching the movie, if it stayed true to the book, would die. They would die of shock and they would cry of amazement because nothing, nothing this wonderful has ever come to their eyes. Nothing this wonderful has ever been thought in their minds. In my mind's eye, I see everything so clearly, so vivid. I feel it, I feel what they're feeling and it makes no sense. I love it. It's wonderful, it's amazing. This is what a book should be. This... This is a true book. A true story. A true wonder. And I spoke to her. I spoke to the woman, the woman blessed with the ability to create pure wonder from a pencil, pure wonder. I spoke to her, and she spoke to me. And I love her. I love her so much. I love her for giving this amazing and fantastic gift to the world. It's great. Just great. Seven Citadels Series, I love you Geraldine Harris. You're fantastic.

The Dead Kingdom is the third book of the Seven Citadels. While I feel definitely lacks in our main character development (until last couple pages) it gives our supporting cast so time to shine. We also meet a whole new group of people a little more then half way and their interactions with our group of misfits was a nice change of pace. Forollkin continues to be one of favorites.

This novel is a masterpiece! Mrs. Harris touches on the darker side of things and life in her writing, but manages to stay with her over all theme. She has a magnificent writing style and captures your attention and holds on to it. I look forward to a captivating ending.

Högläsning för sonen som satte betyget. Spännande och tänkvärd.

Again an improvement on the prior installment in the quartet, but the action is still confusing at times and the character development/the characters' interactions leaves a lot to be desired.
But I do want to live my entire life in an eternal, enormous library.
