I think this was a good book. It never lost my interest and I always was wondering what was going to happen next. The series, to me, is wonderful. I think it deals with everyday problems with middle school girls. It shows how there pretty much is a Massie in every school. The only thing is that she makes Massie pretty misunderstanding toward the other characters, but like every book there always has to be that someone who ruins the perfect life. Also I do love how she uses things in everyday life to relate to decisions the characters make. Also the author makes you really feel the emotions of the characters in many situations, and makes you care about them. Lisi Harrison does a great job on relating to teens. She definitely gives enough detail to give you a perspective of what people look like to even their attitudes. Also when Claire gets the part in the movie and not Massie it tells teens something. It shows how you don't have to be powerful, popular, and bossy to get what you want. If you try your hardest that’s all you can do. It gives people like Claire with a Massie on them, ways to deal with the problems. Overall this was a good book, and I would definitely recommend to any teen.

this book was about a bunch of girl that get kicked out of school. They have a girl named Claire that tries her best to fit in. But when she hits the spot where she becomes famous her friends never really influence how she really is. But then many other things that change her life.
i didn't like this book because the author used no tone. It was impossible to read this book. But if I was Claire I wouldn't have been friends with the other girls because it influenced her to do many things she didn't want to. It made her have to change to fit in. I would only try to fit into a clique that doesn't cause me to change. A clique that can express who I really am.

My first and favorite click series book. It started a portal of drama but somehow it close it as well.

the nostalgia's kicking in again
when I read these books in primary school I took them seriously but now the series is great as a comedy

Dial L for Loser is a great book with real situations and real drama that teenage girls can connect with. It is part of a series called The Clique Series by Lisi Harrison. There are eight other books in her series and she is writing one right now. The books are The Clique, Best Friends for Never, Revenge of the Wannabes, Invasion of the Boy Snatchers, The Pretty Committee Strikes Back, Dial L for Loser, Its Not Easy Being Mean, and Sealed With a Diss. There are a lot of different things happening in the plot of this book. There is a so called “pretty committee” of OCD which consists of Massie, Dylan, Alecia, Kristen, and new comer Claire. Massie, Alecia, and Claire are asked to come to Hollywood to audition for a movie called Dial L for Loser. The girls go leaving Dylan and Kristen behind. They are fighting to get them all back in to OCD which they had previously been kicked out of. Claire gets the lead roll and Massie and Alecia end up doing a mini show for the Daily Grind. While they are in Hollywood a lot goes on. There is a lot happening at home with Claire’s Boyfriend Cam and a lot going on with her friends. Also Massie’s guy Derrington has a lot happening. Will Claire, Alecia and Massie ever go home? If they do will they still have friends? Will they still have boyfriends? Will they ever be let back into OCD?
This book is very interesting and a very fun read. I recommend this book to any teen girls or even just girl or young adults in general. The mood of this book is very sarcastic in a way. It makes you laugh a lot and makes you want to keep reading and reading. The language used in the book is also sarcastic a lot. It is the kind of tone and language that most teenagers would use in their everyday lives and that is a lot of the reason these books are so fun to read. I gave this book four stars because it was very fun to read. I love how these books are written and I will continue to read the rest of the series and I will look into her other books if there are any.

I honestly can’t believe I finished this in one day, since that wasn’t my intention at all. Like most books, though, if I finish it in less than 3 days, it’s because I wanted to get it over with.
Throughout the entire book, this was a 2 star read. I don’t like the story when the entire Pretty Committee isn’t together, and I also hated Massie and Alicia’s characterization in the book. I felt like I was back at square one, with the bullying. I understand they were jealous, and that petty fights happen with 13 year old best friends, but it was just annoying.
However, I liked the ending of this book, and I’m interested in where the story goes. TPC is changing, as is everything, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

Our favorite Clique is back once again in this preppy and ah-dorable novel. After being expelled from their seventh grade class at their private school, OCD, the Clique girls have risen to fame on a movie set--Dial L for Loser, the latest teen movie being filmed. But what will happen when Gap-wearing "ordinary" Claire snatches the lead role from Prada-loving, born-to-rule Queen Massie? That obviously doesn't go over well with the Clique girls, and Massie has to employ some ruthless tactics to get herself back into the spotlight.
While this feud is continuing, other dramas round out the book. Alicia and Massie have found themselves as movie set correspondents for a popular morning television show, The Daily Grind. Kristen and Dylan of the Clique are stuck back at home in Westchester, but that doesn't mean they can't have fun...especially with the Briarwood boys. And new Hollywood "It Girl" Claire has caught the eye of her co-star, teen idol Conner Foley. What happens when her boyfriend at home, Cam, catches them kissing?
Rich and fabulous, though sometimes over-the-top snooty, these girls sure know how to have a good time. In this humorous piece of teen chick-lit, I found myself laughing out loud with every page. Is this a Clique novel you don't want to miss? Definitely so. Or, as Alicia might say, given.

Every book all I want is for Claire to be happy - to be with Cam, to be an actress, all of it. Obviously this book still has drama, but it's nice to see Claire in the spotlight and for Massie and Alicia to be on the "uncool" end of Hollywood.

In the book Dial L For Loser, by Lisi Harrison there is a lot that goes on ranging from breaking up a celebrity couple to getting the chance to try out for a featured film. All of this revolves around the main characters “The Pretty Committee” includes Massie, Kristen, Alicia, Dylan and Claire. Massie the alpha of the group comes across as conceded and self centered when actually she is really insecure and cares about what everyone thinks about her. Kristen is sporty, Dylan is acts like a guy, Alicia is a girly girl, and Claire is the only down to earth character. The plot focuses on when the pretty committee goes to The Daily Grind a talk show, Dylan’s mom is the host. There Dylan heard Abby Boyd a celebrity for the Upcoming movie Dial L for Loser talk about how she has been seeing Gabor (Hadley Durk’s boyfriend). Hadley is another star for the same movie, Dylan told the whole building by mistake. Hadley walks off the movie, and the director Rupert Mann is really mad and he uses Massies cell phone and forgets give it back. The genre of this book would be non fiction because nothing is fantasy or made up, all of this could happen in reality. The theme of this book would be dramatic because something always seems to happen, people are fighting and everything imaginable.
Dial L for Loser, a book where many things don’t need to be critiqued but there are a few things that could have been modified to have a better understanding of what was happening. Events in the book what were amazing were, the description of the Daily Grind and what happened there. The author went as far as how the glass on the tables looked as if it had been polished with Windex every day. Another thing that stood out was mood of the characters. The author described them to the t, for example when Claire found out she got the part. She made it feel as if you were the character and actually feeling that mood or emotions. Also the symbolic meaning was excellent, the author got right to the point that the meaning was about friends and their social lives and how they look. The tone was characterized as dramtic because all of the drama that happened between the Pretty Committee. The things I didn’t like were the ending, I think the author could have described the party more, and how Claire felt about returning to New York and seeing her friends.

i think this is the last one of these i remember reading
everyone is a little bitch in this book except claire and layne & co. even more than usual anyway
i liked the LA/NY distinctions; they’re funnier to me now as a 20-something in socal, especially knowing now what i know abt harrison herself (former MTV employee, blah blah blah)
massie gives off very closeted vibes throughout this book if we’re being honest
this plot almost felt made up as it went along. which is fine, it’s YA and i know i was entertained by it when i was still the target audience for it. still it really leaves me befuddled as to what harrison was trying to do with this series, considering that audience

Dial L for Loser (Updated)
The PC are sitting in Starbucks celebrating their expulsion from OCD. After learning that the expression jinxed is out and AC is in, Claire wonders what she can do to earn the PC full-time respect and coming up short. Well not so much with Kristen (who it’s a nightmare for). Her parents are making her study philosophy so she’ll know what she’s throwing away. Not only did she get expelled she lost her scholarship. There’s a meeting coming up and Alicia says her parents will sue if they’re not allowed back in. If not Claire will have to go to public school. Massie, Dylan, and Alicia wouldn’t mind either being home schooled or going to boarding school in Switzerland.
Claire tells them the next day, Layne is throwing a protest in their honor. Massie is happy to see 18 girls have signs for her but 6 want to start replacement cliques (Da Crew and the Country Crew) and she can NOT let this happen! Dylan gives her friends the news that Abby Boyd and Hadley Durk with be on “The Daily Grind” to talk about their new movie Dial L For Loser (something that hasn't happened since Abby stole Hadley's boyfriend, Palmer Dryden) and the best part is she has passes for all of them.
In the bathroom, Dylan tells them that Abby and Gabor (Hadley’s boyfriend) have been hooking up behind Hadley’s back for weeks. Unfortunately, Calgery Edwards (Merri-Lee’s co-host) has her mic on (on) the toilet and Abby and Haley hear her and get into a cat fight. Hadley quits when Abby dumps tomato sauce on her head (live) and walks out. Rupert Mann makes an announcement on a talk show that he’s looking for the girl whose phone he’s holding (it’s Massies). He wants to fly her and her friends out to LA to audition to take Hadley’s place. When he gets in touch with Massie he tells her don’t bring “the red head”.
Kristen isn’t allowed to go because of her harsh parents. So, only Claire, Massie, and Alicia will be auditioning. Massie’s audition is too confident for the character of Molly. Alicia’s is good but Rupert says she’s too beautiful for anyone to buy she’s a loser. Claire gets the part (helped by the fact that she dressed the part-due to Massie and Alicia having water spilled on her shirt and the short cut of her bangs-). Immediately Alicia and Massie turn their backs on her. While Massie and Alicia are preparing to go back to Westchester, Kristen and Dylan surprise them with a job from Merri-Lee to stay and be behind-the scenes- reporters for the Daily Grind.
On the first day of shooting, Alicia and Massie freeze up and Claire has to come to their rescue and she takes control of most of the segment. The cast give Claire a special edition Dial L For Loser cell phone. (I forgot to say that when they talk to Kristen and Dylan back home, they tell them all the Tomahawk’s have to invite dates to the St. Patrick’s Day Dance whether they want to or not). Claire worries about who Cam is taking to the dance when he doesn’t answer her calls but then finds out from Layne he took Todd. Massie and Alicia want to ditch the parents and ask Claire can they meet up with her and Abby, but she doesn’t call them back while hanging out with Abby and Conner.
Massie gets told unless she livens up her segment, she and Alicia will get the ax. So, they try to interview Abby but she refuses. On top of this, she shoots off at the mouth about Alicia and Massie being the girls Claire blew off the night before and Conner liking Claire. So, Massie and Alicia manipulate the security guard, get into Claire’s trailer, and go live where they *find* a lot of embarrassing things they’ve planted (Pepto, Oxy, Listerine, face bleach, Dependends undergarments, ladies Rogaine, Head and Shoulders, Desenex (for athletes foot), Cruex (for jock itch, and oversized tampons). Fortunately they’re able to get a interview with Conner who comes looking for Claire.
Claire is hurt and brought to tears, but Massie just says she’s a drama queen. Connor wants Massie and Alicia to help him “get in touch with his emotions” and invites them swimming at his place in Malibu. Claire finds out it’s all about “picture wares” in Hollywood. She also finds out that Connier is taking advantage of “Moosie and Alice” in the press to uphold his bad boy image (what with them being drop outs) but decides not to do anything about it. Conner invites both Massie and Alicia to a wrap party. They find out he and Abby are an item-and have been for a while- from his mother whose glad he’s hanging out with “some nice girls”. They promise they won’t tell. They never gossip.
Alicia and Massie are on set when Claire has to kiss Connor (but she has her assistant escort them out for making her lose focus). At first, she has trouble with the kiss (not wanting to cheat on Cam) but then she really gets into it-making Abby “suggest” she dial it back-. When she calls Cam, she finds out Massie has emailed him a picture of the kiss. Claire tells him there’s nothing going on with her and Conner. It was just a scene. He tells her there’s nothing going on with him and *her* and hangs up the phone on her. He also thinks CF stood for Cam Foley (a question she was asked in the interview to give her crush’s initials).
Massie and Alicia make their way back to Connor’s trailer (they’re his guests on set) and they wonder why everyone is laughing at them-and thinks it’s because Claire kicked them off set-. They find out from overhearing Conner on the phone that he hired the photographers that they heard in the bushes while they were at his house to make Abby jealous. Instead, they got him dumped. The pictures are in US Weekly and are of Alicia what snot coming out of her nose and Massie picking her swim suit out her butt.
Claire finds out when she tries to stay in touch with Abby that she was just her “MBF” (movie best friend). Upset she heads back to her hotel room. On the way up she shares a elevator with Alicia and Massie -who are surprised to see her crying-. She tells them that in NY at least they’re honest when they don’t like you. Here people just prtend to be your friends. Then they go back and forth accusing each other of times that they’ve been there that they other pretended to be their friend but they weren’t. Claire then starts laughing hysterically and throwing chocolates at Alicia and Massie. They tell her to stop but there’s nothing they can threaten her with anymore and she says they’ll be begging for her friendship when the pictures come out. Alicia says point.
Kristen and Dylan write a paper on the meaning of life that gets all of them back at OCD but they all have to join clubs. Massie makes things right with Cam and Claire and when they get home there’s a surprise party (but Kristen and Dylan have already leaked this). At the end of the book another director calls Claire who wants her to move to California so he can take her to the top. She takes Cam’s hand and decides to just live in the moment.
My Thoughts:
Let's start with Claire since she's the star of this book. It felt good to see her one up Massie, who just really makes me ILL. I think if I had to pick a favorite character -and it's really hard with this series- Claire would be the one that makes me least wonder why I continue to read these books. Tho don't get me wrong Claire is such a weak character that she never seems to get that Massie is NOT her friend. I'm glad Claire got the role, but this is what frustrates me about the whole thing. As soon as I got back to the Block Estate -Layne may be Westchester's "loser"- but I'd ditch the PC so fast. Massie dumped all OVER Claire on national television with no shame what so ever AFTER she saves Massie and Alicia from public humiliation. and then Then jeopardizes her relationship with Cam. When Massie and Alicia's rep gets trashed, Claire wants to tell them upfront When is this girl gonna get a clue? By the end of the series? And then when I read about boyfriends of actresses getting jealous and the girlfriend's getting insecure over having to kiss the male lead it makes me want to scream. DID YOU NOT READ THE SCRIPT? The movie is about ROMANCE. There's a HOT male actor. What did you think was gonna happen? Yal were gonna hold hands? Firstly, if you’re an actor/actress that comes with the territory. and If you or your mate is that insecure, first of all, you're in the wrong field and second, you need a new gf or bf. The bf's make me just as frustrated because they never seem able to grasp the fact that again IT'S ACTING! Not to say tho that romantic attachments haven't formed from lead actors and actresses in those kinds of parts. Look at the leads from Once Upon A Time, True Blood, and Twilight (just to name a few). Massie and Alicia -with zero experience- (unless you count Alicia's at school) just happen to get picked to do a segment. And the one they’re picked cause the director still has Massie’s phone. These girls are so spoiled it's unreal how everything just seems to be handed to them for NO REASON! She even gets her dog MAILED to her. Because she can't wait 3 weeks (rolling eyes).

On the first day of shooting, Alicia and Massie freeze up and Claire has to come to their rescue and she takes control of most of the segment. The cast give Claire a special edition Dial L For Loser cell phone. (I forgot to say that when they talk to Kristen and Dylan back home, they tell them all the Tomahawk’s have to invite dates to the St. Patrick’s Day Dance whether they want to or not). Claire worries about who Cam is taking to the dance when he doesn’t answer her calls but then finds out from Layne he took Todd. Massie and Alicia want to ditch the parents and ask Claire can they meet up with her and Abby, but she doesn’t call them back while hanging out with Abby and Conner.
Massie gets told unless she livens up her segment, she and Alicia will get the ax. So, they try to interview Abby but she refuses. On top of this, she shoots off at the mouth about Alicia and Massie being the girls Claire blew off the night before and Conner liking Claire. So, Massie and Alicia manipulate the security guard, get into Claire’s trailer, and go live where they *find* a lot of embarrassing things they’ve planted (Pepto, Oxy, Listerine, face bleach, Dependends undergarments, ladies Rogaine, Head and Shoulders, Desenex (for athletes foot), Cruex (for jock itch, and oversized tampons). Fortunately they’re able to get a interview with Conner who comes looking for Claire.
Claire is hurt and brought to tears, but Massie just says she’s a drama queen. Connor wants Massie and Alicia to help him “get in touch with his emotions” and invites them swimming at his place in Malibu. Claire finds out it’s all about “picture wares” in Hollywood. She also finds out that Connier is taking advantage of “Moosie and Alice” in the press to uphold his bad boy image (what with them being drop outs) but decides not to do anything about it. Conner invites both Massie and Alicia to a wrap party. They find out he and Abby are an item-and have been for a while- from his mother whose glad he’s hanging out with “some nice girls”. They promise they won’t tell. They never gossip.
Alicia and Massie are on set when Claire has to kiss Connor (but she has her assistant escort them out for making her lose focus). At first, she has trouble with the kiss (not wanting to cheat on Cam) but then she really gets into it-making Abby “suggest” she dial it back-. When she calls Cam, she finds out Massie has emailed him a picture of the kiss. Claire tells him there’s nothing going on with her and Conner. It was just a scene. He tells her there’s nothing going on with him and *her* and hangs up the phone on her. He also thinks CF stood for Cam Foley (a question she was asked in the interview to give her crush’s initials).
Massie and Alicia make their way back to Connor’s trailer (they’re his guests on set) and they wonder why everyone is laughing at them-and thinks it’s because Claire kicked them off set-. They find out from overhearing Conner on the phone that he hired the photographers that they heard in the bushes while they were at his house to make Abby jealous. Instead, they got him dumped. The pictures are in US Weekly and are of Alicia what snot coming out of her nose and Massie picking her swim suit out her butt.
Claire finds out when she tries to stay in touch with Abby that she was just her “MBF” (movie best friend). Upset she heads back to her hotel room. On the way up she shares a elevator with Alicia and Massie -who are surprised to see her crying-. She tells them that in NY at least they’re honest when they don’t like you. Here people just prtend to be your friends. Then they go back and forth accusing each other of times that they’ve been there that they other pretended to be their friend but they weren’t. Claire then starts laughing hysterically and throwing chocolates at Alicia and Massie. They tell her to stop but there’s nothing they can threaten her with anymore and she says they’ll be begging for her friendship when the pictures come out. Alicia says point.
Kristen and Dylan write a paper on the meaning of life that gets all of them back at OCD but they all have to join clubs. Massie makes things right with Cam and Claire and when they get home there’s a surprise party (but Kristen and Dylan have already leaked this). At the end of the book another director calls Claire who wants her to move to California so he can take her to the top. She takes Cam’s hand and decides to just live in the moment.
My Thoughts:
Let's start with Claire since she's the star of this book. It felt good to see her one up Massie, who just really makes me ILL. I think if I had to pick a favorite character -and it's really hard with this series- Claire would be the one that makes me least wonder why I continue to read these books. Tho don't get me wrong Claire is such a weak character that she never seems to get that Massie is NOT her friend. I'm glad Claire got the role, but this is what frustrates me about the whole thing. As soon as I got back to the Block Estate -Layne may be Westchester's "loser"- but I'd ditch the PC so fast. Massie dumped all OVER Claire on national television with no shame what so ever AFTER she saves Massie and Alicia from public humiliation. and then Then jeopardizes her relationship with Cam. When Massie and Alicia's rep gets trashed, Claire wants to tell them upfront When is this girl gonna get a clue? By the end of the series? And then when I read about boyfriends of actresses getting jealous and the girlfriend's getting insecure over having to kiss the male lead it makes me want to scream. DID YOU NOT READ THE SCRIPT? The movie is about ROMANCE. There's a HOT male actor. What did you think was gonna happen? Yal were gonna hold hands? Firstly, if you’re an actor/actress that comes with the territory. and If you or your mate is that insecure, first of all, you're in the wrong field and second, you need a new gf or bf. The bf's make me just as frustrated because they never seem able to grasp the fact that again IT'S ACTING! Not to say tho that romantic attachments haven't formed from lead actors and actresses in those kinds of parts. Look at the leads from Once Upon A Time, True Blood, and Twilight (just to name a few). Massie and Alicia -with zero experience- (unless you count Alicia's at school) just happen to get picked to do a segment. And the one they’re picked cause the director still has Massie’s phone. These girls are so spoiled it's unreal how everything just seems to be handed to them for NO REASON! She even gets her dog MAILED to her. Because she can't wait 3 weeks (rolling eyes).

Harrison is back with her sixth installment of “The Clique” series. Fans of the series will not be disappointed by this visit to familiar friends Massie, Claire, and the gang. In Dial L for Loser, the girls are beginning to come to grips with their expulsion from the seventh grade at Octavian Country Day School. The first few days of freedom to shop, socialize, and generally spend their parents’ money to exhaustion are fun and carefree. But as time moves on, they begin to get tired of this life and even begin to long for their return to school.
The girls are given an opportunity to visit a television show to meet their famous idols. Through some interesting turns of event, Claire, Massie, and Alicia are asked to try out for a part in the movie “Dial L for Loser.” Rich, beautiful Massie assumes the part will be hers, but surprisingly, Ked-wearing Claire lands the role. Massie takes out her rage on Claire in many different ways. All in all, it’s another adventure for these often-mean, spoiled, rich, and intriguing girls.
Dial L for Loser should definitely appeal to fans of the series, and also to girls who enjoy books about the rich. Even though their lifestyles are beyond what most people can identify with, that’s actually part of the fun of reading the books. They allow you to experience something out of the realm of ordinary living. The emotions and reactions of the girls are accurate, though, no matter what your financial background. Many of the friendship, competition, popularity, and other concepts dealt with are universal.
There is a great deal of brand-name dropping, which can get a little tedious and will probably date these books fairly quickly. And I have serious problems believing that these girls are only in the seventh grade. I think the series would be more credible if they were in high school. These shortcomings aside, Dial L for Loser is a fun, entertaining book that girls are sure to enjoy.

Short Review: Using your mom's job to get yourself on camera... not below these girls standards. So Claire gets to be in a movie, just like that, no acting experience needed, just show up and act like a "dork" and bam, you're the star in the movie... UGH. The other characters in the movie are shit. Massie is shit as usual, she wanted to be in the movie so bad, then she's stuck doing back stage things on TV. She goes out and buys a bunch of not cool things to have in your bathroom and pins it on Claire, hilarious, if you're 4. These are quick reads otherwise i would just stop reading, and i completely skipped book 5 by mistake and didn't notice anything. Oh besides they get kicked out of school, guess i'll figure out why later.

I liked this book once I'd accepted the outlandish plot. When Rupert announced he wanted Massie and her friends to audition for the role, I turned off my Kindle. I know these books don't exactly go for realism, but this narrative is a little much.
I did really like that Claire finally got some cool points of her own. She's felt inferior to the Pretty Committee the whole time but now has her own cred. Massie's jealously pissed me off though. Let Claire have something for once!
This was a weird detour in the series and am excited to be back at OCD in the next one.

These kinds of books are one of my top guilty-pleasure books! Hollywood, Celebrity stars, Reputation to uphold and drama? The theme for this book is beautiful and heart-racing. And the fact that this is another book of the famous CLIQUE series? I totally heart it.
So, the book starts off where the Pretty Committee starts the life free of OCD. This meant unlimited shopping sprees, meetings in Starbucks and no homeworks! They're living the fantasy life any teenage girl would love, right? So, after a bathroom accident at the set of the famous talkshow The Daily Grind , one of the teen stars quits and the director of the new teen blockbuster movie, Dial L for Loser is looking for a new lead, the Pretty Committee couldn't be much more delighted. After all, they're school-free and the girls from OCD would love Massie more if she becomes Hollywood's newest teen-sensation. Right?
WRONG!
After Claire gets the part, she's instantly everyone's favorite girl. Talk about unbelievable, right?
Like always, it filled my CLIQUE fix about girl drama in the glamorous, perfect world of The Pretty Committee. (more like Massie, Alicia and Claire)
The pacing was alright, the drama was on point and even if it's cliche I love the Hollywood drama! I love the transition from the turning point of this book.
In this book, Massie was shown to be self-centered and jealous of Claire. She was the alpha, she was the girl everyone envied and the spotlight just completely came to Claire. Of course, she's Massie Block and no one's stopping her from getting her way. I always thought of Massie to be very vindictive, controlling and yet she's still classy even though she makes someone's life miserable. But outside Westchester, (in my opinion) she looked bitchy and acted immature. I know she's like a seventh grader but whenever I read Massie's manipulative schemes, she always do it in a classy way. When she "trash-talked" Claire, she looked like an amateur news reporter. She acted way immature for her character. And Alicia? There were some parts in the book where she acted like a bimbo. That is so not her! Although I love the duo of Massie and Alicia and doing their crazy schemes, I felt bad for Claire.
Claire was the character I least liked but this book made an eye-opener to Claire in a very, expressive way. I felt she really was alone, despite the fame and recognition Hollywood is giving her.
Who wouldn't right? Her "best friends" were trashing her, her boyfriend dumped her and she was used by her so-called BFF.
I think that this book is a transitioning time of the Pretty Committee. They're going to face new different dramas but in a more challenging way. It's more than just about friends, crushes and spotlight. They're soon to face more than that.

Based on the book Dial L for Loser, the purpose of the author is to inspire teenagers. In this book the protagonist is Massie Block. She is a seventh grader and she lives with her parents in Westchester. She has 4 friends and they are Kristen, Alicia, Dylan and Claire. They all are expelled from school (OCD). They have their own group called The Pretty Committee. The purpose of this committee is to be famous.
Massie’s favorite teen celebrity was Abby Boyd. She loves to act like her. She also likes to go shopping with her friends every day. Her parents do not care about anything she does as long as she “proves it’s educational” (Harrison 7). Because she is expelled from school, she spends most of her time with Claire and her friends at home. Massie and Claire live at the same house because Claire just moved from Orlando FL. Claire joins The Pretty Committee.
Later, Dylan tells her friends that Abby and Hadley were going to be on her mother’s show. The 4 friends were excited and shouted because they were meeting famous actresses. Massie commands Claire to take photographs of herself (Massie’s) and the celebrities whenever they were talking together. Massie did not want Claire to be on the picture. When they arrived at the show, they met the actresses. Massie is self-centered. She wants everything for herself. When Hadley said she has the same shoes as Claire, Massie felt a bit of jealous.

I am currently reading Dial L for loser. I put down the book Killing Brittney because it was just to boring. Anyways my book Dial L for loser is about 5 girls and there rich,dramatic lives, and growing up together. They really have like the best life ever and are so lucky to be growing up and being rich. Also there is so much drama in this book. These girls are always fighting over boys, friends, and money. Like whose more rich,whose better, and which boy likes them more. My book is just about drama and relationships. I can't wait till it continues with more drama.
This book is like the same as me. My friends and I are like that, just not about the hole money thing. But, also like I get in fights with my friends over boys. I love reading about drama, but I hate being in it, or seeing it. It gets old after awile, because it's just like a broken record, that keeps repeating itself. So annoying! Once, my friend and I liked the same guy and I got to date him first and that was one of my biggest mistakes in my life, because I was about to loose one of my closest friends. My neighbor! This girl was neighbor. Then I felt really bad, so we stoppped dating and her and I talked about then just to get back at me she went and dated him. Then I relized how she felt. It hurt that she would do that to me. In the end we worked things out and now were really close friends and get ready every morning together for school. Were closer then close. Were tight. I can't wait to contuinue with my book it's going to be really great.
