Thoughts: I bought this book last year because I saw posts about it on Instagram and it seemed like it would be a neat read. I was incredibly disappointed. I expected poetry – it had absolutely no poetry, it was pretty much just a self-help book. Some of the messages were nice, but a lot of it seemed very repetitive. A lot of it also felt like something you’d get off Chat GPT. I had to go and read the reviews mid-read because I was like surely others feel this way about this book too, but apparently not. I’m just saying, if I needed a reason to stay until tomorrow and I was given this book, I definitely would not stay.
(PS. This feels like a harsh review but y’all have no idea how mad I was while reading it – I think this review is significantly tamer compared to my thoughts as I was reading)

When i read the book, i feel so warm. It feels like someone is hugging me. It’s a great book to read when you are feeling down. And if it’s too overwhelming to read all of the encouragement, you can read it one page per day.

4.5 Rounded up*

*Received via a Goodreads Giveaway*

This was really needed. I believe that some people who chose to read books back to back picks up books they need in the moment. I'm struggling with a few different situations at the moment. These situations is leading up towards my seasonal depression (which always comes around Early to Mid May).

While I know there are people who need this book moreso than I do for encouragement, this was really needed. It provided a lot of encouraging words. I underlined and highlighted so many quotes that just spoke to me. I am happy I won this because I think the Universe or God knew that I was nearing a situation I would need something like this.

Definitely worth the read

Honestly such a good book, it has been on my TBR for a while and I one a copy in a giveaway that Goodreads held!

I love Jacqueline’s use of language and wording in this book, a lot of her writing really spoke to my soul and I love the way she describes feeling.

One critique I would have is that some things were very repetitive in her writing and it threw me off or brought me out of the book sometimes while reading. Otherwise it was an amazing read and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a book full of comfort and love.

A bit repetitive at times, but not necessarily in a bad way. An enjoyable read packed full of lots of hope. I preferred picking it up here and there to read a couple pages versus reading it all in one sitting.
