What is with the jaw-dropping ending? This one was amazing. I loved it, and now I need the next fucking book.

Again!! I can’t believe that cliffhanger!! No!! I wasn’t ready!! I won’t say what I’m angry about, I don’t want to spoil it. This book was everything-more information about the history of Nyx’s world and leaving me with thousands of questions. I just love the storytelling in this series. I don’t want it to it but I am desperate to know what happened after that ending.

I am so darn frustrated right now. I just finished this book and that cliffhanger was just so…I don’t know what to say. Let me start by saying I enjoyed the whole book, and I was excited to see some of the events happen in this one (can’t say much as I don’t want to spoil them). Poor Nyx is put through the wringer in this one, especially with the end. I was just so flummoxed. I’m hoping that there is something that makes it right and it isn’t what it seems. Intrigued? Well, read this to find out what I mean. I can’t wait for the next one. Ugh. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

I don't know what to say..... that plot twist 😲. Zepar oh my gawd you bitch. I trusted you 😭😭. This whole time I was like, oh he doesn't get enough time with her, oh she doesn't like him as much as the others , but you??? You were conspiring this whole time😭😭.
I mean I get that he is a good guy and is pbbly doing it for good but he could've told her!! And Sin??? He's also conspiring??? What's with these men???
And also I'm not rooting for sin anymore. The way he treated her in this book is just not it. I hope he dies or sm. But Zepar🥺🥺 w h y.
I think Dhuma will die. Idk why. Just feel like it. Also she will pbbly go to the pit. IE inferis. Mallini needs a romance. Veena and that guy jera something idk. We didn't get much of arty in here. Hopefully more in the next ones. Poor sev😭😭.

I'm always looking forward to get my next Debbie Cassidy arc. Her stories are always exciting, filled with interesting characters and surprising plot twists, and I always fly through them way faster than I anticipate. I'm never bored and her imagination seems endless! This series seemed a little chaotic so far, but after the finale of the previous book I was incredibly excited to dive into this fourth book. It felt like the story was now actually beginning.
Once more this book is a rollercoaster from start to finish. The characters are running from one dangerous situation into the next one. Where it could get a little chaotic in previous books, especially because characters had no idea what they were doing or what their goals were, this book had a very clear direction and the characters have clearly grown a lot. They're making plans, connections and they discuss what they wanna do and what the goal is.
I also absolutely loved the politics in this book! So many people had so many different goals and were willing to go incredibly far to reach their goals. As a reader we could never know who was working towards what and which characters were really siding with the characters we're rooting for. I also loved how the author was working towards the reveal in the end changing the entire game! I can't wait to get explanations in the next book.
Just like I hope there are still more places in this world to explore in the conclusion of this series. In this book we're also exploring a part of the world we hadn't visited before and I loved how the place felt familiar and fitting in with the rest of the world as we have gotten to know it and yet had an entirely different feel due to circumstances. I understand there might come an end to all the exploring, but I hope that end comes with the end of the series and not before then.

This Author is the queen of cliff hangers and endings that you just dont see coming and this book is no exception.
We get a lot of answers in this book and yet are left with so many more questions that literally have you counting down the days until the next release. But i am sure the author has a few surprises left in store yet as there are still 2 books to go.
Nxy and her siblings at the end of the last book escaped the lava and fire but ended up having to fight for their lives in a different realm and have to find a way home. Along the way there is Joy, heartache, reliefe, shock. Be warned you will want to throw your kindle at the wall but please dont as you will need it for teh naxt book!

Have you ever read a series that seems to hit the gas with all action - and yet somehow only feels like a solid story later on? That's the feeling I am getting with the Morningstar brood. But instead of being a confusing situation or discovery, I am rather enjoying it.
Or that could just be Nyx.
UGH!!!!! What can I say about this book?? READ IT! But you have to read the others first, otherwise, this will be NO sense. That said, the cliffhanger is a doozy of a drop, a rather evil one too. Fortunately, Debbie never leaves us hanging for long, no matter the brutality of the ending.
I can't wait to see what happens next in this growing, complex universe.
Or that could just be Nyx.

Once again Debbie has written another can't put down read in a series that is fast becoming one of my favorite by her.
Where do I start without giving away anything, all I can tell you is that her characters are just so dang fun and memorable. I love them. Nyx and her siblings, also with the guys. Everything just comes together so smoothly to create such a bond between them all. The character development, discovering powers. Getting some questions answered and then getting some more.
With plenty of action, fast paced and that ending, oh my!!! So emotional.
I would highly recommend this read, honestly any of Debbie's stories, they are top notch. She is not one of my favorite authors for nothing.

Omg soo much going on in this book. Many more betrays are found out and Nyx is in more danger than ever. That cliffhanger was crazy. Can't wait to see how she gets out of this mess now.

This is for the first 4 in the series as I anxiously await book number 5. This series works for me where 2 of her other series (while also fun and action packed) didn't work as well for me. I love the heroine (Kate Daniels would like this one 😉), the guys are great and the found family is excellent. The world building is definitely better in this series as well. (Yes, this is a spin-off from some of her others-like the Wolves, but I read this one before it😏.) Not the biggest fan of the "cliff hanger end scenes" which is why it's not slightly higher in the rating. A cliff hanger once in a while in a series is fine, but at the end of each book 🤨 lessens the impact.

I hate cliffhanger especially when I get so into a book and I have to wait for the next one to come out. I'm not that patient (working on it), so I'm going to struggle until book 5 comes out.
In this book, Nyx, again, cannot have one moment of peace or just to breathe before something else comes her way—especially politics. Seriously? After everything she went through she deserves a moment, but no. There is too much and too many people relying on her so here we go again. It's a rollercoaster of emotions for Nyx and for us who read about her story. I cannot wait for the next release in June to see what will happen next.

We begin at book 3’s completion, and Nyx and her siblings have completed their trials for Satan’s Throne. There is so much intrigue happening, unexpected betrayals and allies continuing to form, and Nyx and her men are finding their way to each other, that this book is jam packed with adventure after adventure. Cassidy writes her heart out and provides readers with deep emotional attachments, which make all of the action through the Demon Realm and others that much more exciting.
One more book to help continue to see how or if Nyx will survive to possibly become the next Satan.

Betrayal
Book four follows on nyxs journey I got to say I don't like sin he treats her bad and for me as the reader it's confusing as Nyxs comes across a women that will not take carp from people but has a big heart that's why she never kissed guys after loke broke her heart (not his fault) I was unsure about sev but he showed he was broken when they first met and truly loves her.so far looks like chase really is not a shifter? But a intelligent supernatural animal he protected her when younger but he Is never around now.I like the fire Lord and sev. But the rest nah.to many games they play.
The ending was a shock don't want to give spoilers so I'm going to say after wing I thought ok so was shocked how that played out.

I like this series and the main character but the way she acts with certain characters is irritating. If she doesn't grow a backbone soon I'm done.

Demon Gate left us with another cliffhanger! Nyx and her siblings succeed in the final trial. By the time they make it back through the portal, lava has swallowed all but one transport pod. While they argue that Nyx should be the one to take it, another swell of lava swallows the last one. Sin tries to intervene by going to save Nyx, but they vanish.
Sin knows that Nyx is alive because of their bond. Everyone is searching, but the Satan’s spawns are nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Nyx accidentally teleported everyone into the abyss. Now that they’re in the abyss, they need to make their way to the city. It’s their only chance at being able to contact anyone outside. The only thing that will get in their way to the city is the sickness. The sickness is the reason that the abyss was closed off. It takes over people and turns them into zombie-like creatures. Will they be able to make it out of the abyss? Will they all make it back alive? Who will win Satan’s crown? So many questions. I guess you’ll have to read it to find out.
Debbie Cassidy is keeping things consistent. There is constant suspense in all of these books. Nyx is so powerful. I love how she accidentally overpowered the power-muting cuffs to save her siblings. They aren’t exactly safe where they are now, but it’s better than burning in lava. True to form, Cassidy leaves us with another cliffhanger, and this one has quite the twist. There are so many things happening at once. The shifting perspectives really help keep the suspense going. There are constant threats and action in Demon Reign.
I’m still amazed at how well the editing has been in these books. I’ve mentioned before that it is uncommon in books on Kindle Unlimited. I wasn’t pulled out of the story at any point. It was actually quite the opposite. I’m reading through this series so fast. I just can’t put the books down. The cliffhangers are killer. I’m so glad that I don’t have to wait for the next book to come out. I couldn’t imagine having to wait to find out what happens next.

How this author can pack so much into one book is beyond me. Nyx's story is one of my favorites. Everything about this series I have loved.
So much is happening in this installment of Nyx's story. We got a recap of the previous book in the beginning and I just love that it was provided. It is so helpful to have those in ongoing series, so I do not have to go back and re-read.
The satan spawn have all vanished at the end of the previous book. No one knows what's happened or where they went. Of course Sin figures it out. I truly didn't expect that and the events that unfolded. The development of our characters is amazing. Nyx is growing by leaps and bounds. As are other characters. Almost anything I want to say, is a spoiler. So I just won't say it.
I absolutely loved this book. The ending, it killed me. My phone (which I was reading from) landed on the floor and I just left it there for a bit. You cannot possibly guess the ending to this one. It is going to leave you reeling! Your world is going to tilt and you are going to be so very shocked and confused. Maybe betrayed. Please do not let that deter you from this book. I think most people hate a cliff, but only because they cannot have instant gratification. Have some patience. Experience this book and series in the way the author has intended for you to. Join all of us in our misery and enjoy the wait. I know the wait is going to be worth it. It always is with this author. Just read it. Send me a message or something so that you can have someone to talk to about it. There is nothing better than reading this series with others.

I really need to stop reading the last chapter of Debbie Cassidy's books right before bed. I had to take HOURS winding down from the fluster that that ending put me in. WTF is going on??? My poor husband, who usually rolls my eyes at my reactions to these books, actually feels bad for me with this one lol.
These books are so deep and amazing with so many twists you don't see coming! As much emotional turmoil as I'm in right now, I freaking love these books. They are absolutely some of the most mind-blowing pieces of absolute perfection that I've ever read. And they're so deeply intricate that I could reread these books forever and keep absorbing more and more. I am so in love with every character, the wicked awesome plot, and obviously the steamy scenes!
The Trials may be over, but things are only ramping up... and seriously WTF is up with that reveal at the very end of this one??? I will be DYING until the next book comes out. I may smother myself in more books to read in the meantime, but you know I'd drop them all in a second the absolute minute that the next book in this series is ready. Heck, I'll take a day off of work and binge it like I'm a teenager again.
Anyway. Definitely get this book, but maybe don't read the last chapter unless the next book is out. ;) Save yourself some pain. Or, you know, join us in raging at the author and wailing our hearts out through the night.

I seriously loved this book!
Omg the action in this book really ramped up! It starts off right after the spawn disappeared after the last trial. Except they ended up in a place no one else could have gone - they somehow ended up in the abyss, which had been locked up for a long time. After finding a town of sorts that had much more advanced technology, they are attacked by the infected and helped by demibeasts. They are found by the remaining daimons who are not infected and have been waiting patiently for their queen, who they don't know is dead, to return.
Now they have to figure out how to get back and figure out who has been blocking the transmissions.
Once that is figured out, they are able to return and discover that someone is really plotting to kill Nyx, so the siblings along with Nyx's men all have to work together to find the source before they kill her.
There was sooooooo much that happened in this book, and I don't want to give any more spoilers except to say OMG I DID NOT EXPECT THAT ENDING!!!!!!
I feel a little traumatized on Nyx's behalf for the betrayal that you would never expect! I can't wait to read what happens next!

That was an absolute roller coaster of a ride. So many things go on in this book, and some of the twists are really starting to come together.
We start right where book 3 left us, with the spawn vanished and nobody knows where they might have gone.
I'm not sure I can write much more, almost anything else might give a hint to the storyline and I really don't want to do that as it was so enthralling to read and not know what was coming next, if I bit my nails I'd have none left after this book - especially the cliffhanger at the end - I guarantee you couldn't guess that at all, completely out of nowhere.
Nyx and her siblings have to work together yet again to get back to Morningstar. So much more if found out as they meet new people which sheds light on more things that have been going on and that Nyx wants to correct.

Unputdownable read
This poor FMC, Nyx, just breaks my heart the trials, plots, and betrayals she has to survive just to keep her loved one safe and secure. The betrayal in this book almost overshadows the excitement cheering for these characters, that it has left me reeling.
Demons of Morningstar are definitely becoming a favourite. I am emotionally invested in these characters, and I need them all to have a HEA.

This poor FMC, Nyx, just breaks my heart the trials, plots, and betrayals she has to survive just to keep her loved one safe and secure. The betrayal in this book almost overshadows the excitement cheering for these characters, that it has left me reeling.
Demons of Morningstar are definitely becoming a favourite. I am emotionally invested in these characters, and I need them all to have a HEA.

The storyline is so good! We are introduced to so many new characters which is great. The story keeps you on your toes and then finally right as I am at the end we are left with the biggest cliffhanger yet! My heart is broken and I just want to understand why things happened the way they did. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone so I won’t say anything more except .”WHY Debbie, I am crying inside and thinking how can I wait for book 5?” LOL
I believe that there has to be reason it ended the way it did and a certain someone cannot be the bad (I will say culprit because again I don’t want to spoil anything and even saying if it’s a boy or girl could do that)
If you’ve been reading this series or even if you’ve never read it and you love fantasy, a strong female lead, awesome side kicks including an awesome dog and of course all Nyx’s hot steamy lovers this book and series are meant for you.

This series was highly recommended by a book influencer that I follow and being a RH paranormal romance I had to dive straight in.
I really enjoyed this series with it's vivid world building, engaging characters, found family, various paranormal 'species', banter, romance and spice. There were a few twists and turns that I didn't see coming which is always great. The FMC was strong and feisty, and I loved the way she brought her family together with the varying personalities. The MMCs were charismatic, engaging and sexy. There were a couple of things that bugged me though... I wish there had been more romance (and spice), it seemed that area suffered to fit in all the plot points and action. To me it seemed like most of the romance was with one MMC in particular, and yet another MMC was left in the 'wings' for ages. I would have loved if they were together as a group earlier with more romance peppered throughout t he story. Overall, however, I did really enjoy this series and will be checking out more books by this author.

How hard can we make it for Nyx
That really kind of what this book felt like. After the final trial, Nyx breaks her bonds, and saves herself and her siblings by teleporting them all to the abyss. What I did not understand was that originally there was essentially supposed to be just one survivor, the next Satan. All others would be killed. Nyx did away with the death contracts, and now the princes got final say over who was supposed to be Satan? I guess that was the original way too? Just with killing all others? Why bother with these silly trials than? There is some decent stuff in this book, lots of development, which seems a little late in the story. The total vibes of "let's see if we can break Nyx emotionally" are getting a little old. I mean whether through intend on necessity, every time she gets comfortable with guy he betrays her, or has to go attend somewhere else at a crucial moment, or is literally taken away from her by someone else. The girl had trust issues because of her childhood, but should start to get some serious PTSD.

Absolute madness. Can't get enough.
With Nyx and the rest of the spawn trapped in the Abyss, there is a danger no one will claim the Morningstar throne, yet the princes keep hoping they will figure a way out. There must be a Satan, and they have a good candidate in their focus - if she can survive all the traps and assassination attempts. Even with so many guardians and protectors, Nyx's life is in constant peril, regardless of where she is. Being used, pushed like a pawn in grand power schemes, and underestimated, it is time for Nyx to claim her place and use her powers to seize control instead.
What a rollercoaster the book was. There was no moment of peace, only constant action, drama, and surprising twists. I for sure did not see that cliffhanger coming! Characters are growing, adapting, changing, and crystallizing as the plot moves on, and no scene gets the reader bored. I absolutely loved this and can't wait for more!

The newest addition to the Demons of Morningstar world is full of the delightful backstabbing, untrustworthy, chaos that has defined this series. It has been a ride up until this point, and I keep wondering who will make it out alive. There has truly been some heart wrenching plot points with Nyx and her men. Nyx's harem is one of the slowest developing I've come across, and yet I'm enjoying the slow burning relationship building with Sev, Ignatius, Zepar, Sin, and Artimus. I'm even intrigued by the elusive Loke, and his figurative handcuffing from The Source. The only thing better than the relationship Nyx has with the harem, is her relationship with the siblings. Their bond is fantastic to read, and brings much needed support to a heroine bombarded at every turn. Its a romp through the weeds of adventure, and while I wouldn't say this is the highest spice level I've come across in Cassidy books, the swashbuckling action will keep your eyes riveted, and fingers turning the pages.

Debbie Cassidy ... why ... why ... why?
I don't know how to process this book! I think my brain short circuited after all the twists, turns ... and that ending, thats what sent it into thermonuclear meltdown😱🥺😓
But apart from my brain, this book was absolutely phenomenal and I don't know if I will be able to wait until the next one to find out what happens, my brain can't stand the strain either.
The characters have grown so much throughout the books, and relationships just make you live them all.
Overall, a truly excellent, well written (as always) book, that keeps you enthralled and as such makes it a book that you have to finish all at once, you won't be able to put it down.
However, saying that, you will be an emotional wreck once it's finished, but it's meant to be that way, pushing you into hoping and praying the next book is available a.s.a.p.

If any series should be renowned for it's cliffhangers, it's this series!
Again, I wandered off a huge cliff at the end of this book; it's what I think might be the biggest cliff yet. I'm sure I think this after every book in the Demon's of Morningstar series, but this time it was Mt Everest size!
I absolutely cannot wait for the next book and not just because of the incessant need to find out what happens after the cliffhanger, but because I just want more of all the relationships, sibling and romantic . They are all so well thought out and each character acts exactly like themselves despite all the crazy situations they are forced into.
It's a roller-coaster for me with all the twists and the plot bubbling away like a... I would say hot spring but it's more like a volcano waiting to erupt at this point!
Super excited to see the rest of Nyx's (and her siblings) story.

Oh my stars! Nyx is definitely put through it in this book! Just when things start to finally go her way she’s caught fighting for her and her siblings lives once more. Separated from Sev, A toy for Sin, A sibling running out of time. Poor Nyx is pulled in so many directions. She still hasn’t learned one valuable lesson, everyone you know can turn on you! I’m curious to see how many mates she ends up having, I’m personally hoping for six although after that ending , well let’s just say he has some serious explaining to do! I’m in awe of the different worlds and the way I’ve come to care Nyx’s siblings as well. Sweet Verena and Gus, gruff Keelan, strong Tristene and poor Mallini, they have all found a place in my heart.

Nyx has finally won the crown but the danger hasn't ended yet. She's attacked, and rescues both herself and those that she loves time and again, just as they protect her time and again. She's completed bonds, and then when finally is ready to try and complete the final bond and be crowned at the ball, she's betrayed.
At the end, the truth comes out just WHO had killed Beelzebub, and it's not who everyone thinks. So my question is this, how will Nyx react when she wakes up and is at full power? Reign ends on a cliffhanger that no one sees coming and leaves you screaming at your reader. It leaves you hanging for the final book in the Morningstar Series and I can't wait until Demon Wrath comes out!

We are back with Nyx and her non stop adventure continues. It’s fast paced, action packed and I just cannot get enough. Nyx is an incredible character, strong, brave and totally kicks ass and she is loyal to a fault, she is someone you want on your side no matter what you are facing and no matter what is thrown her way she faces it head on. The trials are over but that doesn’t mean things have stopped or slowed down. There’s so many twists and turns, I couldn’t catch my breath and with an ending that totally blew my mind, i literally had to sit and let it sink in for a bit once I’d finished. It’s a fantastic series with some incredible characters, a thrilling and exciting storyline, a whole lotta steam and it’s one hell of a ride. So looking forward to the next book!
