Yes, today I’m giving off all my favorite mangas out there a 5 ⭐️ and a badass heartfelt review, why ? BECAUSE I CAN.

If only BSD was not a monthly released manga I would’ve been happier in life. Things are very intense now in the last few chapters (this one is from 94 to 100 I assume). With the hunting dogs literally hunting down our detective agency members and more with Dazai and Dostoevsky planning and calculating everything while being in confinement (not very much of a confinement now).


Our little girl Aya being the most courageous girl out there snatching Bram and trying to escape with him in an attempt to control the vampire army in someway, I have to say that Bram and Aya combo just makes me literally roll on the floor laughing.

“A wolf has appeared, evil must perish and I have to protect the sheep” Tetchō Suehiro, man do I want to slap that boy ? Yes, if I ever get that chance will I slap that boy ? Absolutely with no hesitation, can I slap that boy ? Nope because he’s a fictional character, but like literally scratch that and add Teruko to the slapping party. BECAUSE NO WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE ATSUSHI GETTING TORTURED EVER THE FUCK AGAIN.


That and Kenji is really having the worst time of his life with Tetchõ and I want to cry because Kenji is so precious and I can’t accept what he’s going through but my boy will get back (he did) at Tetchõ and THIS SHALL HAVE A GOOD END SOMEHOW SOMEWAY

I hate monthly updates I really fucking do. I hope just two people that I love so much would be safe, one with anger issues and the other one is dwarf. I’m praying for the best.

not chuuya's first appearance in like 40 chapters being like this, i'm actually in pain
anyway, the game between dazai and fyodor is gonna be interesting and most likely painful

also, can we talk about how beautiful the cover of this volume is??

It was very nice to have a Dazai centered, mostly, volume. I had missed him.

All the shenanigans that Dazai and Dostoyevsky are simply a lot of fun and completely insane and incomprehensible, all at the same time. Adding Nikolai to that already chaotic mix was probably the best thing ever. I'm worried, however, with what they've gotten themselves in this time around.

There's a bit of a dichotomy going on, narratively, that I'm enjoying quite a lot.

We have the insanely smart group, all of to do some chaos and mischief, and then we have the more "average and normal" girl over on the other side, arguably being of greater help with the current conundrum. It's fun.

The customary cliffhanger closes the volume and both parts of it are quite intriguing.

I've spent many a review trying to express my opinions on this series eloquently and understandably. I have run out of intelligent things to say. This series is just really frickin cool. The main villain can attack in both the past and future. Half the world (and main cast) has turned into vampires. The main maguffin is literally Bram Stoker's head. Who would've thought of this??? This is the craziest manga out right now.

En primer lugar, la portada me parece preciosa. En segundo lugar, este tomo me ha gustado mucho más que el anterior porque siento que ha sido más ligero y al mismo tiempo dese el punto de vista argumental ha sido mucho más interesante.

Igualmente tengo ganas que este arco acabe. Siento que está llevando demasiados tomos, aunque por el paso que vamos no creo que finalice pronto.

Dazai and Fyodor are so unhinged, it's fantastic. 😭 Escape the prison game is 10/10 and Chuuya showing up beating ass had me screaming and kicking my feet despite what state he's unfortunately in right now.

My greatest villain origin story is how Chuuya has not been seen for AGES and then shows up like that?? Sick, the author is sick.

Sigma getting unwillingly involved in all this like pls he's just a baby.😭 Being stuck with all these wackos?? I'm sorry, it is so funny though.

I love Bram Stoker so much, he's such a mood and him with Ava is a fun duo. This vampire storyline is so fucked but it's absolutely batshit and I love it. Everybody's so creative.

Also that cover is the prettiest of the entire series.

bungou stray dogs is already a masterpiece solely for the fact of having two characters named after dostoevsky and osamu dazai as mirrors of each other BUT ANYWAY this is probably my favorite volume so far like are u kidding me all of my favorite characters (minus akutagawa who was... somewhere else?) playing mind games in an inescapable prison named after a character from the stranger? sign me the fuck up i eat this shit for breakfast

Aya is such a brave girl, I love her and Bram's odd friendship. I'm beginning to like Sigma, I feel so sorry for him being shackled with Dazai- cue their dancing😂 The love of my life Chuuya is back...kind of, hopefully what we see isn't what's actually happening, otherwise I'm going to riot. I'm hoping this arc wraps up soon, it's good but it's so stressful😅
