Slow going
This book has been in my TBR pile for years. The story is very detailed and slow moving. Decades pass in this battle between hobgoblin and goblin. The reader simplifies interest.

I tried. This was a recommended book and it looked possibly good. It was just okay for me. My issue is that it went slow and dragged out for me. Not enough action.

Really, Really liked the wildside series. All sorts of paranormals running around. The fae, dragons, trolls, gargorlys, goblins ect..
