Their Reaper #3

Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor

Rate this book
There are worse things than death…

With my possessive god, my hot shifter, and my stubborn vampire, I felt a kind of safety and peace I never imagined in this life. We began to feel like a family.

But all of that is gone now.

They hate my kind. If they learn the truth about what I am, they’ll kill me. And if I can’t stop the other reapers from killing a shifter alpha, my wolf is dead. What’s more, my fallen god has angered his own kind and they intend to unleash chaos into our world, and into his life.

In other words, the three men I’ve grown to care about need me right now. I could be the one person that can stand between them and life or death. But to save them, my secret will need to be revealed and this secret will destroy anything between us.

So unless I come up with another plan, I’ll lose my men, one way or another.

I guess this reaper needs to start thinking.

I didn’t realize going into this book that this is the concluding title in the series. I read RH, but it isn’t my favorite, and this was a very good series. In this latest, Jules has to make some-heartbreaking decisions that lead to some interesting results. I was a little bit disappointed that when push came to shove that her men didn’t support her for some odd reason at one point in the book. Aside from that, this was a great end to a great series. I’m looking forward to what the author has next in store. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Ok, so the series isn't bad but there are a billion characters and a lot of drama. Stuff is touched on enough to just be confusing. Main players are barely mentioned. Some of it is really sad and heartbreaking.
Left with lots of questions and just bummed about the ending. The spice was pretty good though.

An action packed read that I thoroughly enjoyed. I seriously love Jules and I got most of the answers I needed but I really would’ve loved to have more answers towards Fredrick honestly. I kinda hope there is a spin off to this series because I’d love to see more of this world.

Book 3 is here and I couldn’t wait to get started after reading the first 2 books. To start the cover art for this book is amazing. Well things take a bit of a turn in this book with and the more i read the bigger the turns get I was not expecting any of that to happen. One thing I can say is Jules is a total badass. Things take a turn in her relationship with the guys and everything else hitting her but it all works out in the end the way it got there was just fantastic. But mind you they guys were being a bit of arses when they found out the truth but they sure as hell made up for it. The one thing I would love is to see more from Fredrick.

Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor is book 3 in Their Reaper series and the finale of all three books or is it? I just felt like maybe there might be more or it could just be left wanting more?

Everything was thrown into this book. Vengeful Gods, a warring/divided pack and secrets that threatened Jules and the guys. As well a few teary parts too. It all came together to make for a brilliant conclusion but im kinda wondering about Fredrick?? If he might get his own book maybe? Id definitely read it if he did

I loved books one and two but book three really amps things up. It’s the most action packed of the three, it’s exciting, it’s captivating, it’s full of twists and turns and we do get a lot if not all of the answers to questions as things look to be all wrapped up. It’s been one hell of a crazy ride in this steamy paranormal reverse harem romance with our female grim reaper and her harem of shifters, vampires, gods and the author has done a fantastic job with the conclusion.

Okay, I liked the series but I kinda felt that the ending was rushed off.

I would have loved to see Brad, Ajax and Conner especially the former two to reconcile and reconnect with Jules after they over reacted and it was really overreaction on their part .
Brad and Ajax should have never said the words they said to Jules . Yeahhh anger, hurt, dissapointment at being kept in dark(though with a good purpose) were expected and natural reaction but accusing her for something lowly after claiming to love and understand her spoilt their characters for me. Hell the girl practically told Brad that she lied only when it was necessary and yet the ass insulted and broke the poor girl's heart. Would have loved to see him and Ajax beg for forgiveness and do work to earn back her trust🙂.

Freadrick was a funny character with his sass and subtle taunts towards the trio and his various character references just made me laugh 😂.
Disliked Drake and his pompous ass😤😤

Overall, great series.

Finale…
You just can’t help but feel for Jules she’s is absolutely stuck between a rock and a hard place with what she is and the position it puts her in! It’s her morals and character going up against the Reaper Council who quite frankly are manipulative with their own aims 😡 throw in a connections between the wolves and the gods and there’s various issues being thrown at Jules and her men 😩
But honestly nothing is worse than the reaction of Brad, Connor and Ajax when Jules can no longer keep what she is under wraps 💔soooo disappointed in them! For all his flaws Frederick really comes through for her and along with Connor brings some home truths to the guys and shines a light on Jules true nature!! It’s not easy but a well fought HEA 👍🏻

Book 3 in the series continues Jules' and her men's story as she is forced to reveal her secret in order to try and protect her men. But her secret could push them away from her for good.

Jules continues to be the bomb babe that she is, all while working to keep her men safe. The tension with this book as Jules tries to figure out a plan to save everyone and keep her men with her had me on the edge of my seat.

This series feels like it's done but also unresolved. I thought there were four books, but the ending felt like it was done? It feels incomplete in ways but also like the series is over, so the ending caused some slight confusion for me. I guess we'll see what the author does next.

This is the final book in the series and Jules has settled into a relationship with Ajax, Brad and Connor.
Brad is determined to find out what she is now they know she isn't human, but telling them could cause her to lose them. Connor has problems now the pack Alpha is ill, and Ajax's family come to cause some problems.
I've enjoyed the series and how the story has panned out, but I am so disappointed in the guys, and Jules really doesn't make them grovel enough. Frederick turns out to be an interesting kind-of ally, I loved some of his one-liners!
There's a HEA for Jules and the guys which is fitting for the series.

This book was the most action packed of the three, a lot of things were revealed and a lot of problems came to a head. The issues with the wolf pack are most prevalent and the characters find out there is something going on behind the scenes that is causing all of the issues with the pack. This book felt like it was supposed to be the last in the series because a lot of the main issues were wrapped up, but I feel like a lot of things were left unresolved and unanswered so I’m not sure. Otherwise I did enjoy this book and the the main set of characters.

Alright

I don’t know how I feel about that ending. The guys lost it on her, and everything is hunky dory after they save her from Ajax’s brethren and the Council. I expected better of them. Lots of stuff went down and the ending didn’t balance our all the negative. Don’t get me wrong, the story was written very well. Every action and spoken word was natural, for the most part. I just I hoped to see a better ending, and closure. Otherwise, it kept me interested, anxious and the need to know more.

This was a fairly good read, i believe it's the last book but it didn't totally feel like it.
Jules secret is finally revealed but unfortunately the guys reaction is a bad one, I feel so sorry for her as they did not give her time to explain. Luckily Frederick steps up for her, he has become my favourite character!
Their is so much drama in this with the reaper council, gods and the pack! It's definitely not a boring book.
Was definitely not expecting the ending!
Overall a good series.

I was actually surprised to find out this was the final book. With what was happening in the books, and the “big bads” I thought it could’ve gone on for at least another book, if not 2. It did wrap up nicely, and I liked the ending. I was a little disappointed with her men at one point, but at the same time they had a “come to their senses moment. All-in-all it was a great book, and I can’t wait for the authors next project series.

Finale

Brad started off the series as a playboy and then he fell for Jules. He just can't stand the fact she's keeping secrets. But, when her secret is revealed, he treats her the way she expected he would.

Jules has finally come into her own and accepted who/what she is. I like her in this book.

There are several unanswered questions because of the rather abrupt ending, but overall, I enjoyed this book.

Thank goodness this series is over. Being a bit ocd about book series I had to finish it. I was so bored and I felt that it was too long and drawn out. The ending was rushed. Not steamy at all. Boredom set in about 30% into this book.

This is book three of the Their Reaper series and the main character is Reaper Jules. She is still getting used to her new life as a Reaper, having found out that she can heal people as well. Not that she has had any real training, nor know much about the balance of life and death. Because of her recent spate of healing people, fellow Reaper Frederick has been following behind her and ensuring those she had healed end up dead and reaping their souls! She has recently been trying to save the life of the Pack Bane wolf shifter Alpha Astro, who has strangely been really ill and unable to heal himself. For some reason, he seems to get a bit better, but then relapses again each time. The imbalance has meant an Angou has ended up at the hospital, a form of reaper who has gone completely to the dark side and causes those it kills to be stuck as ghosts, unable to pass over to the light or elsewhere! As such, reapers of any kind are hated by shifters and feared.
When Jules tries again to heal Astro, she falls foul of one of the pack’s wolves who wants Astro dead. Riggs has been poisoning Astro whilst another wolf kept guard at the hospital room door. When Jules finally figures out what is wrong with Astro and tries to go to heal him, she has to get past Riggs and the second wolf shifter. It doesn’t end well and now the alpha is dead and questions are being asked. The three men she has become involved with, Brad the vampire, Connor the rogue wolf shifter, and Ajax the god, who live next door to her and all work at the hospital as well, have been trying to figure out what she is. She isn’t allowed to tell them and she knows they hate her kind anyway! If she tells anyone, they will be killed and anyone else they love will also be killed. She has finally accepted that this life is all she has now and that she won’t be able to return to her former family and friends. Connor is in danger now there is going to be a new alpha in Pack Bane, as there are many who don’t accept rogues or turned wolves in their pack! Ajax also has an issue with family, with some of them making a home in the small town for whatever reason. With the attempts on his life last time, he has seen signs of his nephew near Pack Bane and is sure he might be behind the trouble in the pack and the death of the alpha.
He has found out that four of his brothers and a sister are on Earth and causing problems. The last time his fellow gods wanted to cause problems, they tried to crush Earth and kill all of mankind. Ajax’s actions in saving mankind ended up with him being banished to Earth! Frederick has been doing some investigations of his own, and about his own former life and maybe, he is beginning to understand Jules a bit more and where her compassion for people comes from. Brad gets confirmation that the gods are definitely messing with the selection of a new alpha through battle. They have a way to ensure only the wolf they want will win and all the others will die. This will hurt Ajax and they want to kill everyone he cares for, having never forgiven him for them losing a lot of their powers. One of them will have to fight for survival, whilst another must sacrifice everything to keep all those they love from being hurt or killed. All of them will face the wrath of the gods and not all of them will survive, in what I presume is the finale of the series. A cracking ending as the truth is finally revealed and hard choices have to be made, and battles have to be fought for those they love. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

I wanted to like this series more but I still rated it four stars for the parts I loved.

Favourite parts:
- Jules big sacrifice. I almost cried. She is such a great Mom and I would’ve done the same for my child.
- Jules as a FMC was amazing. She was figuring things out while trying to stay a good person and not lose her humanity. She was feisty and bold. I loved her character.
- Connor: amazing MMC. He was such a golden retriever in a wolf’s body. I loved his character so much.

What I didn’t like:
- Brad. I feel like he was always waiting for the other shoe to drop with Jules and even when she told him she couldn’t tell him under penalty of death he still pushed her. For a vampire who has been around along time, I found him naive and a bit misogynistic. Not a fan. He also never jumped on the Jules train full until the group stuff started happening. Still not a fan.
- The fact Frederick wasn’t brought into her harem and Jules referred to him later as “that idiot” when he did so much to protect her. He needed more of a role in the end.
- Ajax doesn’t really do anything cool for being a god. He glowed and used his Dad voice sometimes. He was okay but still pretty misogynistic and quick to turn on Jules when he found out what she was. He’s literally a god who brought natural disasters down on humans when he had a bad day but not he’s reformed so that’s all fine and dandy. Hypocritical much.

This could’ve have been more if it had been fleshed out in places but it was a great read overall nevertheless.

Book 3 has finally arrived and I couldn’t wait to dig in after reading the first two books. I swear one day I’m going to learn to look to see if a series is finished before I start reading!

We’ve made it to the final book and I’m sad it’s here, I loved following Jules’ journey. It wasn’t an easy one especially when her men found out the truth. We knew they probably wouldn’t take it well but man, they were jerks. It was sad to see all of the hard decisions she had to make and unfortunately she didn’t get the support she really needed from the guys.

The twists and turns in this book were unexpected, you didn’t know what direction Lacey was taking us! Jules is such a strong FMC and she truly shined with her strength in the final book. Her focus was to keep her men safe, and I believe that’s what helped her stay as strong as she did. Their HEA was fought hard, and I’m glad that they were able to pull it together in the end.

Can’t wait to see what other amazing journeys Lacey is going to take us on!

Book 3 continues shortly after Book 2 as Astro is still not recovering, despite the best care and Jules’ Reaper magic. Watch for the changes in point of view at chapter changes. There is a lot of intense, graphic RH sex involving all of them individually and collectively. Jules finally figures out why but before she can save him, he dies. Now the pack is without an alpha. Some blame Ajax, Jules, and Brad; others listen to the facts. Jules realizes some basic truths about her new life as a reaper. Ajax fears his 17 siblings, the gods, are coming to wreak vengeance on him and the world. Frederick fears the wrath of the reaper council. Connor fears the wolf pack will blame him and Jules for the death of the alpha. Sure enough, the wolf pack, the gods, and the reapers are out for blood, guts, their pound of flesh, and anything else they can destroy of Jules and her team. The unexpected and amazing finale to the book must be read to be believed - no spoilers here. You will be surprised.

This is not at all how I thought it was going to go. And that ending? Absolutely perfect, but nowhere near anything I expected. I don’t even know how to explain this book without giving it all away. There is so much going on, and each event and revelation builds on the one that came before it. Jules is dodging so many things that are outside of her control, but she handles them with grace and skill. I kind of want her to be my spirit animal, she does it all so well. And even though her “boys” manage to make a hash of it before the end, I still love each and every one of them. They’re a big part of the reason why Jules finds such strength within herself. I don’t know if there’s more drama to be found in Reaper Hospital, but like in the best soap operas, I’m willing to come back and do it all over again.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.

Reaper Hospital: Code Stubborn Doctor is the third book in the series by Lacey Carter Andersen and was the perfect continuation to this story! Packed full of action, revelations and of course delicious steam this is a must read for any paranormal rh loving fan!

Picking up where the first left us with our group still dealing with issues with the wolves, our fierce FMC Reaper Jules is busy researching ways to help the alpha all while dealing with her feelings for Ajax, Brad, and Connor and the ness she continues to find herself in when using her powers for “good”.

I loved how we got some long awaited answers and issues resolved, yet still have so many to uncover! This is a fun and exciting reverse harem romance that will keep you reading till the very end trying to figure out what the heck is going on and what’s going to go wrong next for our fearless four….possibly more?!? ;)

Omg i absolutely loved this!!

This is the final book in the Reaper Hospital series, and it had a perfect ending. Ending wrapped up in a tidy-ish bow!!

Jules has figured out that she is not like normal reapers... her ability to save a life is not what other's do. And Fredrick thinks she must have had some ability when she was human.

But now there is a lot of tension in the wolf pack after the Alpha was killed and with no alpha in line, Connor might have to leave. Ajax is having more probs with the other gods. And Brad keeps bugging Jules with wanting to know the truth... which she can't say.

Thankfully everything ends up working out....a lot differently than i expected but it was great!!!

I received an ARC for my honest review!

Keeps the reader jumping through hoops

Jules, a recently turned reaper, has been researching ways to help the alpha wolf from the events that occurred in Code Hot Nurse while also being conflicted about her feelings for Ajax, Brad, and Connor, three men who work at the same hospital. As the story progresses the solution does not come in time, their battle could turn on a dime, and all could be lost if the bell fails to chime. Lacey Carter Andersen’s Code stubborn Doctor is an exciting reverse harem romance read that keeps the reader jumping through hoops trying to figure out just what could go wrong next.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Code Stubborn Doctor is the third and final book in the Reaper Hospital series. Jules and her guys have finally settled into their relationship, but Brad is getting suspicious and wants answers to exactly what she is. It definitely puts tension on their relationship, because Jules can't tell them for fear that they will be killed. Conner and Ajax have their own issues too when it comes to pack and family.

I immensely enjoyed Frederick in this one, his part wasn't huge but he was a great additional character. There are quite a few up and downs as well as some twists and turns as the story goes on, and it was an excellent conclusion for the series. It was nice for Jules to finally get her happily ever after at the end even it wasn't exactly what I expected.

Reaper Hosptial: Code Stubborn Doctor really starts things off with a bang and only races off into drama-central from there. This book, by far for me, is the best one of the series. Jules's secrets are pressing at the seams to come bursting out and threatening a lot of aspects of her life, but her problems don't stop there. I mean, why would they? LOL! One of her men is trouble, and the alpha whose protection he enjoys dies, where does that leave him? In a lot of trouble and no place to go.
I devoured this book and I'm eager for more. I love the twists that the author is packing into this book. It is finally coming together better and I'm loving it.
5 out of 5 stars! Can't wait for the next book!

I really loved this series. But it was a disappointing end. Brad getting mad and pissy she wouldnt share the secret that he knew would kill them all? And then their reaction to her secret. It wad bullshit. The ending with the gods and reapers did not make sense. The gods wanted to punish ajax and reak havoc on his town. They wouldn't have left him alone forever just for her to sign a contract she would be forced to anyways. The reaper council reaper ending didn't make sense. The whole series was hinting her and Frederick, but then it ends eith him not knowing shes alive? Really unsatisfying ending. And we saw nothing with their lives after, like con leading the pack as the beta etc. I wish it showed her getting closure seeing her sons life or something

Third and final book of the series. From the start the action and danger just hit you as Jules tries to save those she can while other unknowns are killing them. Being a reaper is a secret she has to keep to protect those she loves and that includes the men in her life. She faces so many dangers and always continues on doing the best she can. She gave her life to save her son but she may just lose the life she was pushed into to save the men she loves. The story is the perfect ending and does answer so many questions. Things of course are always hot as hell when it comes to her men. But what do you expect with a vampire, werewolf and a god?
