Join me in an epic adventure into the exiled world of elementals, demigods, and bioengineered humans as they face rising dangers in Earth’s dystopian future, driven by love and natural forces.
The youngest ever exiled, they believed it was a death sentence. But they were wrong. Nhari Evans survived brutal conditions living under the demigods’ rule in prison. Ancient laws allowed her to return to civilization to battle for a seat on the guardian council that exiled her. Her family will stop at nothing to see her dead. But Nhari has more than revenge pushing her to fight the strongest genetically engineered humans and demigods in a world where the environment is just as dangerous as her opponents. She has discovered her magical elemental powers and found others of her kind. But like any young adult with too much power, mischief is addictive and dangerous lovers are drawn to her. Evil is spreading, and a balance must be restored. Which side will she choose?
Exiled No More is the exhilarating first book in the Exiled Elementals Series, an epic paranormal and urban fantasy in a dystopian magical world full of metaphysical mystery and steamy romance.

T.L. PRICE enjoys writing epic paranormal and urban fantasy novels with memorable characters full of intrigue, romance, and adventure. You will fall in love with magical elemental beings, demigods, and bioengineered humans.
My adrenaline was pumping as I read this exhilarating story of strong-willed heroines and heroes trying to save elemental children from dangers. The book is set in a future dystopian Earth with the best world-building that I’ve ever seen! Hands down. The work done to create the future world is well-crafted and realistic.
If you like the Throne of Glass series, Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR), and Game of Thrones, you will love this book.
Nhari Evans is a young adult who discovered elemental magic while living in harsh conditions as the only child ever exiled to the most dangerous prison on Earth. The prison is run by demigods who are sexy and powerful. Romance galore! The romance carefully blends harems, dangers, and magical lovemaking in a way that you will hotly enjoy.
This book has multiple main characters, so I’m looking forward to reading more about what happens next. There’s a love triangle being formed between competing dangerous characters. But Nhari is no saint. She is full of mischief and not to be reckoned with. T.L. Price did a great job. I can’t wait for Book 2.
This has quickly become one of my top reads for 2022. The plot has lots of twists that make the story come to life on the pages. Since this is the first book in an epic series, the author describes the dystopian world in detail. The map helps to set the stage. I’ve never seen anything quite as imaginative. It reminds me of the Crescent City and House of Sky and Breath series, which also describes the new world in detail. I also enjoyed the main characters. The book depicts elemental bonds that are magical and powerful. It has great enemy to lovers and fated mate tropes. I also suspect a love triangle will be formed. The science fiction plot with the bioengineering of humans ties in well with the magic. This is now one of my auto-buy authors. I’m looking forward to reading the next book by T.L. Price.
Wow this book is amazing! First off, there's all this world building the author did. It's a post-apocalyptic world, but OMG there are so many things to discover, so many details, so much politics involved as well! This world is rich and complete.
The book gives a "Game of thrones" feel. The main character is amazing. I love her so much! I can't wait to see the future that awaits her, as the next book is already available 😉
And did I mention there's a demi-God? OMG so Vigot is by far my favorite character! Love him! Although we don't see him that much in the book, I know he's going to be an amazing character and I'm sure he'll be back.
OMG, too many new book boyfriends! I’m in love with Vigot, the demigod. I want pictures, art, any merchandise the Author sends! His description was sexy and mysterious. I love Earth but I want to go wherever he is from! LOL.
Nhari was an absolute riot. She’s totally badass when you combine her with her girl, Kasha. The elemental tattoos are my favorite part of this book. I’ve never seen an author describe living tattoos that bond elemental powers. It was very well done. Five stars all the way! I purchased the hardcover book. The prettiest book on my shelf!
Even when it is book 1 of the series I still feel like I'm missing a lot of things. mmc tiago is just a man slut and fucks everything to get information. Apparently, sex is the answer to everything in this book.
Some thing written also didn't seem to be fit. I mean aft 5 years of building your home and living there and stuff your not just going to say how proud you are of everything you've build. I mean you have been living like that for 5 years.
Every explanation you get at least 5 or 6 times. And not just 1 sentence but paragraphs of it. Eventho the storyline itself is very interesting it just gets clouded by the constant repeating of everything. Like the explanations. Or words that are overused like when the fmc sleeps she always tossed and turns. If you take out all the repeats you would be left with half the pages, or maybe even less. The story also stretched out unnessacary long.
Fmc is also not really likable, she even steals from people she cares about, she has an attitude and a god complex.
Theres also some mistakes in this book like for example.... She hit the ground face-first, just barely getting her arms out ahead of her to break the fall.....What ? she hit the ground face-first or did she catch herself ?
Top notch fantasy series! An imaginative journey into the magical future. I've seen people say this is made for Netflix and I agree! The magical powers exhibited by the elementals is rich and dynamic. Nhari Evans is an elemental who was exiled by the civilized clans in the world. After discovering she is an elemental, she and her friends protect dozens of exiled elementals living in the demigod's notorious prison. The demigods are beautiful and dangerous. Nhari and her friends learn how to fight, and trust me, you don't want to go up against them. Just when Nhari thinks she has a way out, the civilized clans force her into epic games. She fights for her life against bioengineered humans with superpowers. The romantic subplot adds a layer of intrigue and danger. The book follows several characters with epic dialogue and banter. There are twists and turns and lots of surprises. I'm eager to read the next book. I'm a fan for life!
Nhari Evans, the youngest person to be banished to the Land of the Exiles, a harsh post-apocalyptic wasteland where the snow can disintegrate you, the earth can poison you, and the demigod jailers can eviscerate you. But despite being an exile, Nhari is still the child of a guardian. When she is called to participate in a hunger-games-like competition to determine the next guardian council, she will have to use all the skills and techniques she learned surviving as an exile to win against wily politicians, scheming nobles, and bio-engineered opponents.
This book has one of the coolest maps I’ve ever seen, with real world continents torn and broken apart due to environmental catastrophe. I was immediately intrigued. The world-building had a lot of interesting elements, and this is certainly a dystopian fantasy novel. It ends with a cliffhanger right in the middle of the competition, but I enjoyed reading the different environmental trials and the intertwining politics. The main character is rather fun and mischievous, and not your typical dystopian heroine.
Although, there was a bit of head-hopping, spelling errors, and sometimes the book changed from 3rd person to 1st person at random intervals. It was a bit distracting, but that didn’t detract from the creativity and the imagination of this book.
I couldn’t stop reading it from beginning to end I love the world the author has created and can’t wait to see what happens next for nhari and the exiled elemental children…
I’ve purchased enviro-scapes and can’t wait to continue this story
I’m loving the characters and the storyline. I’m looking forward to more of Nhari and what she gets up to. Is she going to have more men or just Allies?
I saw instagram posts recommending this author and decided to give it a try. It was the best decision! First, I purchased the hardcover book because it was beautiful. The map on the first page is very descriptive and totally seems real given climate change. I tried to figure out the epigraph, which is some type of riddle that draws the reader in from the start.
The elemental powers are truly badass! Most people like strong-willed heroines and sexy alphas. This book has them and more. It has the best villains that you can imagine. I love villains! I love this book! I just purchased the hardcover of the second book! I highly recommend this series.
Im a bit confused starting this book. I feel like I'm some how missing a bigger picture here? No matter how much I read on the picture never cleared. The read itself just kept on becoming more foggy and I just honestly couldn't get through it. I also really didn't like the constant huge paragraph inner monologues these characters kept having.
Goodness!!! A very unique tale among all of the other Dystopian books. The thought and imagination that went into crafting this story of Earth's future, is incredible. Don't hesitate, read this book if you're looking for a wild ride into tomorrow
I loved the amount of imagination and creativity that the author used in the making of this book. Pure talent indeed. The author also highlights the importance of taking care of our plant. A great message indeed.
Exiled No More is the story of Nhari, one of the youngest people to ever be exiled. Sent to prison for killing her abusive father, it’s a wonder she’s been able to endure such a harsh environment. But Nhari is an elemental, with magical powers, something that comes in handy while surviving the toxic atmosphere of the exiled realm, and the strong arm of the A-Lords, wardens of the prison.
Nhari is a member of the Guardian Clan by birth. An ancient law requires her to return to compete in the trials of guardianship. When Marsha is sent to release Nhari from prison and train her for the upcoming Guardianship Trials, Nhari isn’t sure she should trust her. But she must trust someone, for her family, the A-Lords, and the whole of the prison is out to kill Nhari before she can be released. Marsha’s task is a challenging one because Nhari only trusts the other elementals that reside within that realm. They are a secret society of sorts.
I really loved Nhari, she was beautiful, resourceful and cunning, a product of her environment. She wasn’t afraid of life threatening challenges, even when it came to love. She had a lot of heart and watched out for the young kids who were born within the confines of the exiled realm. She is in a sense already a true guardian.
T.L. has created a captivating dystopian Earth in the same vein as Hunger Games and Divergent. The story takes you through the struggles one needs to survive the new Earth. Through the different POVs and inner musings of the characters, you get a feel as to how much perseverance is needed during this tempestuous time of political unrest, and deadly trials. With bioengineering on the rise, the trials will not be fair.
Some character thoughts overlapped and I felt like the book’s flow would’ve faired better with a thorough editing rinse. But all in all, I loved Nhari’s story and T.L’.s attention to details. The trials are what brings in the well written action and showcases T.L.’s writing strengths.
The book ends before the trials have concluded and you must read book two to find out who wins the guardianship. Very clever.

BOOK REVIEW- An epic paranormal and urban fantasy in a dystopian magical world full of metaphysical mystery and steamy romance.
BOOK REVIEW-
The beauty of dystopia is that it let's us vicariously experience future world. One such storyline with fresh perspective is here.
Nhari Evans, the youngest child ever exiled to the most dangerous prison on earth, runned by demigod jailers who can eviscerate you. Despite of being banished, she was eligible to participate in competitions competition to determine the next guardian council. Nhari used all her learnings and techniques during survival as an exile to win against politicians and bio engineered ones. She was the first prisoner to make it back from the exile.
Nhari is now aware about her magical elemental powers and very well coping with the same of her kind. Touch of romance in her life will bring amazing twists and turns and will create certain imbalance too. More danger is awaiting her, not only the beasts but the environment too.
Enormous amount of imagination and creativity used. Author will make you see things from different perspective. All elements are beautifully interlinked. Character develops was great.
Definitely will make you dive into the next one👏 Grab this pioneer one of the series now!!
Exiled No More is the first book in the Exiled Elementals series. It is a paranormal fantasy set on Earth in a dystopian future. The planet has suffered an environmental catastrophe. Many areas which were habitable are no longer. Continents have broken apart and shifted. There are dangers everywhere.
Nhari Evans was exiled to Arabia after murdering her father. She was the youngest to be exiled to the prison territory only accessible via jump portal. It was a death sentence, except she survived. She found new friends who became her family, and their family grew. Her life was not easy but she learned how to navigate the dangers in her new home.
One day a guide arrives in Arabia to bring her back to civilization so that she might participate in the Trials of Guardianship, a ritualistic coming-of-age competition for the children of the ruling Guardian Clan. She must leave behind her family and the life she knew to enter a competition which no one wants her to win. Her goal is not just to survive, but to find a way to get back to Arabia and save her family.
This is the simplest of summaries. The book is so much more including demigods, bioengineered humans, and elementals - what Nhari and her family are. I won't even try to provide a more detailed overview. The author has included an abundance of description not only of the state of the world, but also setting the scene for this epic tale. While Nhari is clearly our FMC, there are a plethora of other characters that come into play, and we often hear from their POVs as well.
Exiled No More is a like a roller coaster rider. At times there is a slow build, while at others there is action and excitement, and you never know what is coming around the bend. And of course, we are left with a cliffhanger. I am keen to get my hands on Enviro-Scapes, the second book in this series, as I need to know what happens next.
✔️ Enemies to Lovers ✔️ Political Intrigue ✔️ Elementals & Demigods ✔️ Environmental Danger ✔️ Elemental Magic (new powerful magic) ✔️ Fated Mates ✔️ A Secret Love
📌First of all, I totally loved the map of Tragea Pangea. Grecian Islands were so close to North America. And Africa close to Australia...just wow!! Real continents in different positions!
📑...[ "Our ancestors underestimated global warming, and severe storms and shifts of Earth 's tectonic plates caused the lands to buckle. We called that period the Tracea Pangea era. What used to be Africa is now split into two large continents," Marsha explained. ]
📌Exiled No More is the exhilarating first book in the Exiled Elementals Series, an epic paranormal and urban fantasy in a dystopian magical world full of metaphysical mystery and steamy romance.
📌The world building is amazing! A dystopian magical world in need of a savior. Exiled Elementals live under the Demigods brutal rules findings danger, love and adventure.
📌The main character, Nhari (an elemental with magical powers) and Vigot (a Demigod) are my favorites. When did I start loving this guy? - Read chapter -7-!!!
The truth is that I couldn't stop reading. I want the next book immediately and I definitely want this story on Netflix...🎬
📑 [Nhari Evans] " They stole my youth, denied me justice, and stripped my royal rights. As a child, this prison became my dark playground. And now I know how to play the game". 📑 "Vigot said they use their demigod powers and ability to manipulate minds to protect the balance in the universe. He said death is part of the balance".
“...hope was stronger than foolishness, and love was stronger than hope. And nothing was stronger than a fool in love.”
We meet Nhari as a young woman who has survived her teenage years in a dangerous prison holding the worst and most dangerous humans from the “civilized” world. We know that Nhari killed her father when she was fifteen and didn’t receive a fair trial. Her evil stepmother wasted no time throwing Nhari to the wolves in a land she believed would kill her stepdaughter. How wrong she was. Nhari holds a secret talent, a hidden ability that allowed her to survive years in the Realm of the Exiled. And now she’s returning to find more elements like her and take back her life. But first, she has to survive, again.
Exiled No More is book one from TL Price’s Exiled Elementals series. I’m currently reading book two because I couldn’t wait to continue reading this intriguing story. I love the world-building of an Earth that has been transformed. Global warming and climate change have made most of the planet uninhabitable. There were times I wasn’t sure if the Realm of the Exiled was actually on earth though it’s referenced as a place that used to be the Middle East. I think there might be something there in the vagueness of how some characters describe it though…
I’m giving this 3-stars because I thoroughly enjoyed this story and want to know how it plays out. However, the constant POV changes and shifting to inner monologues from different characters within the same scene make it difficult to get through at times. The dialogue falls flat for me, and I haven’t quite connected to any of the characters. But I still am dying to find out how the story plays out and where these elemental beings come from. TL Price definitely has an amazing imagination and fascinating lore to tell.
Exiled No More is book one in the Exiled Elementals series which tells the story of Nhari set into prison by her nasty stepmother. She was only a teenager by the time and the youngest at that awful place, full of killers. Years passed, and a woman, Marsha, came to her rescue. She’s called to participate in some games for a place in the council.
It’s right there the action starts. Nhari is a strong, determined and powerful young woman, and with her friends Tiago and Kasha, set on a quest to find more elemental children in the exile. She will have to gather all her knowledge, skills, make alliances (sometimes not a good one) to survive the trials.
The world building in the story is interesting with many details, and the interesting part is the author woven all this into the story, not wasting time with long descriptions, making the story fast paced. Besides, the maps of this new world are amazing.
The story takes place in a dystopian future of a destroyed Earth due to all the degradations of climate changes. Demi-gods exist, magic, elemental powers, bioengineered humans. The story still counts with lots of politics and conspiracies. There are a lot of characters in the story and quite a bit of shifting in POV. I felt lost a couple of times, but I just went back and re-read the scene. The book ends in a cliffhanger, and it continues in Enviro Escapes.
If you like the dystopian genre, an adventure packed with action in such a different world, you’ve got to read this thrilling and exciting story with lots of badass heroines and sexy heroes!
This book was ok, although I struggled to finish it. I liked the MC, but everything else, well I could not entirely connect with the story. I think it was not so successful scoop of too many elements - the magic, the demigods, the bioengineered humans, etc. This book is kinda military dystopia, the possible distant future world with a very autocratic hierarchy.
The main character is sentenced to exile in prison, yet she discovered a mighty power of elements and should be released to return as a nominee for the council seat. Her very family is up against her (which I find very un-human), so Nhari Evans should prepare for the fight of her life.
Well, even though the book had some interesting ideas, they, unfortunately, were not executed well. It seems like the writer picked too many adult goods but was stuck with a dilemma to write YA story. This book needed to be darker, because it is about the heroine's survival in prison, then in the pool of High Society serpents. As a military dystopia, this book lacks brutality and challenges for the characters.
Not sure will I read the rest of the series, this story is probably not for me.
Nhari Evans has been exiled and sent to prison by her stepmother for a crime she didn’t commit. Five years later a mysterious person by the name of Marsha rescue Nhari from prison. Nhari has been called to participate in some challenging games to win a seat on the council. Nhari is sent on a mission along with her friends Tiago and Kasha to rescue other elementals in exile. Aelianna is a demi-god who controls fire, Thalor can control the power of water and Zephyr masters the wind. Kael is an elemental who controls water, Liora controls fire and Ryn can manipulate air. Dax is a bioengineered human who has strength and agility, Seren has heightened intelligence and strategic thinking and Lyra is a warrior and medic who has advanced healing abilities. This story takes place in post-apocalyptic dystopian future when Earth was destroyed due to climate changes. This epic tale of survival with Nhari and her friends Tiago and Kasha bring power and struggle to restore balance in a world filled with danger and intrigue I really enjoyed this fascinating dystopian science fiction fantasy novel.
Nhari Evans was exiled at the age of 15 when she brutally killed her father. She is the first prisoner to make it back from the exile as she is an heir to participate in the trials of guardianship.
😊What i liked -
✔It is set in future dystopian Earth. ✔Despite Nhari being the main protagonist, the book has many more main characters. ✔The book is very imaginative and descriptive. You don't feel lost. ✔In a subtle way the author has put in repercussions of global warming. ✔Though the woman characters are quite strong , the character that caught my eye and was quite interesting is of Thayden's. ✔It's adventurous, thrilling, sexy and futuristic.
🤔What could have been better -
✔If few places the story didn't feel too dragged.
📚Who Should read : 👶Begginers 🧙♂️Dystopian lovers
📈My Rating : 4.5/5
P.s : I was hooked to this book right from the first chapter. @tlprice_author waiting to read the next book to know what happens next.
Qotd - Which was the last book that left you surprised?
DNF - quit at 17% There was so much confusion going on right from the beginning, it was hard to get my bearings to figure out where the plot was even heading, let alone understand anything. It just seemed to get worse the further I got into the story, not clearing up at all. I felt like this might be splintered off another series, but just didn't care enough to figure out if the author had another series that would have fit that description or even a prequel. The female main character, Nhari, just came across as crazy half the time and was just not likable given no context for her crimes are given to the point I quit, or even an understanding of the world building (which is slim pickings) to place the story into context or even get a grasp on the story. I just couldn't be bothered to keep reading something that plain & simple was an unenjoyable tedious mess.
At my age (60), life is way too short & my time is too important to force myself to read a book I'm not enjoying, especially when there are so many other books out there waiting to be read.
I am so confused by the positive only reviews. I could not get past the first couple of chapters. The storyline might be cool and the premise, I am sure there is a lot to this book. I just could not get past the messiness in terms of writing.
Examples: - unnecessary exposure (Nhari tells one of her friends something they would already know, just to the reader gets it. Like telling someone the sky is blue.) In line with that, I am sure that we can find better ways to mention "the secret exit" without calling it the secret exit. Can we call it the exit by the twin rocks or exit 354 and then have someone think about how it's a secret exit? - inappropriate switch of perspective. If you're writing from the view of person X, even if it is written in third person, don't tell me secrets and thoughts that Person Y is having. Wait until it's their official turn. - and yes, poorly edited, couple of typos, but my biggest issue was the lack of flow..
This story is centered around Nhari who is the youngest person to ever be exiled. Exiled is usually a death sentence for anyone who goes there, however due to ancient laws Nhari is allowed to fight her way to being a part of the guardian council. While Nhari is in exile she befriends Tiago and Kasha, who are also elementals. This bonds them and they set out to find other people in exile who are also elementals. They form an army in exile and also offer refuge for the children who are stuck in exile. Once Nhari leaves exhale she becomes a member of society but will have to survive trials to become fully free. Her family and other foes are dead set on trying to kill Nhari which forces her to have to make alliances and survive the trials. This story was a very action filled and fast pace read. I loved the use of elemental magic and also the demigods that were portrayed in this book. I also loved how near the end more characters were introduced which left me wanting more. I loved many of the characters in this book and even some of the villains. I was not the biggest fan of Nhari seeing as I had a very hard time relating to her. She does come off as a very vain main character which is interesting to read, I just wasn't able to fall completely in love with her. However I do think she is developing and I would love to see how that plays out in the second book!
“When the rabbit turns and chases the wolf into the arms of the devil, the devil and rabbit become deadly alliances. Beware of the rabbit.”
Exiled No More is the first book in the dystopian world in the Exiled Elemental series, adopting a perfect blend of paranormal x urban fantasy - and it's nice to pick up a new dystopian read after my teen YA dystopia obsession (hunger games anyone?!).
T.L. Price doesn't hesitate to pull you right in with this fast paced fantasy, packed with phenomenal world building, a competition, mystery, magic and steamy romance (always the best part).
“...hope was stronger than foolishness, and love was stronger than hope. And nothing was stronger than a fool in love.”
⭐⭐⭐.5
Thanks @breysreviews & T.L. Price for the copy!
#QOTD: What was your all time favourite dystopian read?
