Kändes som om omslaget var hundra gånger bättre än boken isig. Jag kände att man aldrig fick en ordentlig genomgång om vem som är vem av karaktärerna eller vad för intressen dem hade. Sedan var det extremt mycket namn och man tappade fokuset ofta om vem som var vem.
Läste den även högt för min sambo och även han ansåg den var förvirrande i vissa fall och svår att följa med i.
Annars var den gulliga och läsvärd. Kan tänka mig att många Frozen fans kommer vilja läsa den både pga omslaget men också storyn.

Recenzie – “Secretul Șoimului Argintiu” de Astrid Foss
Este primul volum din seria „Surorile Zăpezii” scrisă de Astrid Foss. Povestea se axează pe călătoria a trei surori în căutarea părinților dispăruți. Versiunea în română a cărții a văzut lumina tiparului în 2021 la Editura Paralela 45, Pitești, iar traducerea în limba română a fost efectuată de Diana Geacăr, scritoarea romanului “Ce Văd Dragonii”.
Autoarea îi atrage pe cititori prin stilul unic care poate fi ușor de digerat. Lumea creată de ea este asemănătoare cu mitologia nordică, îndrăgitul basm “Crăiasa Zăpezii” de Hans Christian Andersen, ecranizarea acestuia realizată de Disney, seria animată „Tabaluga” și filmul animat „Barbie și al Ei Pegasus Magic”. Vom călători alături de personajele principale prin insula Nordovia unde vom întâlni diverse personaje, animale și chiar pericole. Nordovia se aseamănă cu Norvegia, Canada, Alaska, Islanda și de asemenea cu tărâmurile fermecate din poveștile de iarnă, în timp ce Luminile Mereu-Schimbătoare ne amintesc de frumoasa auroră boreală.
Fiecare dintre noi ne asemănăm cu una sau fiecare dintre triplete: Magda – vocea rațiunii, echilibrul și inteligența, părul ei castaniu denotă că este adesea cu picioarele pe pământ, matură și sofisticată, Ida – artista timidă, părul ei blond ne aduce aminte de îngeri și de „Frumoasa din Pădurea Adormită” și Hanna – aventuriera curajoasă și rebelă, părul roșcat este un indiciu al caracterului ei: plină de energie, îndrăzneață și încăpățânată.
Freya și Magnus sunt imaginea părinților iubitori și înțelepți, regina reprezentând și responsabilitatea, istețimea și vitejia. Madame Olga reprezintă fermitatea, meticulozitatea cât și bunătatea așa cum se poate observa în capitolul doi. Gregor – seriozitate, ucenicie, ajutorul de nădejde. Veronika întruchipează viclenia, setea de putere și răutatea.
Există multe lucruri cu semnificații aparte după cum urmează: ursul polar – importanța de a fi independent, abilitatea de a avea încredere în forțele proprii și abilitățile de supraviețuire când lucrurile merg prost, determinare; șoimul – libertate, vigilență, percepție, perspectivă, înțelepciune, curaj, memorie pe termen lung și zbor; lupul – loialitate, familie, protecție, curiozitate, prietenie, întuneric, agresivitate; molidul – viață eternă, rezistență și forță fizică; florile de mărgăritar – puritate, tinerețe, sinceritate, discreție, fericire; trandafirul de cristal – iubire pură și binecuvântare veșnică; roca vulcanică – conexiune cu pământul, renaștere, stabilitate în vremurile schimbătoare; cristalul – puritate, credință și perfecțiune; zăpada – puritate, inocență, sentimente înghețate, tristețe și cercul – totalitate, perfecțiune originală, sinele, infinit, transformare și mișcare ciclică.
Una dintre cele mai importante teme discutate în roman este ritul de trecere. Misiunea de a căuta cele trei globuri care conțin Luminile Mereu-Schimbătoare și de a-i găsi pe părinții dispăruți nu numai că le ajută pe cele trei surori să își descopere puterile magice, dar le și maturizează în același timp.
Prietenia, familia, să îndrăznești să riști, responsabilitatea, munca în echipă, speranța sunt câteva dintre lecțiile pe care le vor învăța cititorii de-a lungul acțiunii și vor găsi magie la fiecare pagină citită.

It’s the first book from the “Snow Sisters” series written by Astrid Foss. The story focuses on the journey of three sisters to look for their missing parents. The Romanian version of the book is published by the Paralela 45 Publishing House in 2021, Pitești and it was translated from English into Romanian by Diana Geacăr, author of the novel “What Do Dragons See”.
The author attracts the readers through her unique style that can be easily understood. The world that she created is similar to Norse Mythology, Hans Christian Andersen’s known fairy tale “The Snow Queen”, its movie adaptation by Disney, “Tabaluga” the animated series and “Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus”. We will travel along with the main characters through the Island of Nordovia where we will meet different characters, animals and even come across dangers. Nordovia is similar to Norway, Canada, Alaska, Iceland and also the enchanting realms from the winter stories, while the Everchanging Lights remind us of the beautiful aurora borealis.
Each of us resembles one or each of the triplets: Magda – the voice of reason, balance and intelligence, her chestnut hair shows us that she is often with her feet planted firmly on the ground, mature and sophisticated, Ida – the shy artist, her blond hair reminds us of angels and “Sleeping Beauty” and Hanna – the brave rebellious adventurer, her red hair is a clue about her character: full of energy, bold and stubborn.
Freya and Magnus are the image of the wise loving parents, the queen also representing responsibility, cleverness and valor. Madame Olga, the governess represents seriousness, meticulousity and also kindness as seen in chapter two. Gregory – seriousness, apprenticeship and the reliable helper. Veronika is the image of slyness, thirst for power and evil.
There are many things with symbolic meanings as follows: the polar bear – the importance of being independent, the ability to trust your strength and survival skills when the going gets tough, determination; the hawk – freedom, vigilance, perception, perspective, wisdom, bravery, long-term memory; the wolf – loyalty, family, protection, curiosity, friendship, darkness, aggressiveness; the spruce tree – eternal life, resilience and strength; the lily-of-the-valley flowers – purity, youth, honesty, discretion, happiness; the crystal rose – pure love and forever blessings; the volcanic rock – connection with Mother Earth, rebirth, stability through times of change; the crystal – purity, faith and perfection; the snow – purity, innocence, frozen feelings and the circle – totality, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, transformation and the cyclic movement.
One of the most important themes discussed in the novel is the rite of passage. The mission to search for the three orbs containing the Everchanging Lights and find their missing parents not only helps the sisters discover their magical abilities, but it makes them grow up.

Boken handlar om systrarna Hanna, Ida och Magda. De är prinsessor i ett magiskt rike. Deras mamma är ljusets väktare och skyddar det magiska ljusskenet med sin tidsmagi. Dagen systrarna fyller 12 år kommer de också få sina krafter. Men deras föräldrar kommer aldrig tillbaka från sin färd - de har blivit kidnappade! Det är deras moster, den onda Skugghäxan, som försöker ta makten över ljuset. Deras mamma lyckas kontakta dem i ett magiskt klot och berättar att hon skickat iväg magin i tre kulor. De måste hitta dem innan midnattssolens dag. Prinsessorna måste ut på ett farligt uppdrag men de får som tur är hjälp på vägen av sin isbjörn. De kommer också upptäcka vilka magiska krafter som vilar inom dem.

En kort inledning om trillingarna som ska försöka rädda sina föräldrar från sin elaka moster. I denna bok som är del 1, förklaras världen som denna bok utspelas och eftersom de tre systrarna blir 12 år så får de magiska krafter, något som är lite oklart egentligen men men...
Inte min typ av bok, allt för kort och det händer inte mycket. Prinsessor som ska rädda sina föräldrar. Det är inte mycket mer som verkar hända i denna berättelse.

100⭐️ ger Lily (7.5 år) boken ”Snösystrar” av Astrid Foss, utgiven av . Om ert/era barn/elever gillar Elsa i Frost då kommer den här att bli populär. Spoiler! Varför gillar Lily den här? Systrarna får magiska krafter, deras djurvän är gullig. Handlingen är ”super” enligt henne. Själv tyckte jag också om den. Vi hoppas att vi får läsa uppföljaren snart. 🤗 Har ni läst den?

April 29, 2024This came from a school book fair and took a long time to get into it because she had other books she wanted to read. It's ...fine? It's fine. She was interested enough to want to get book 2. It looks like the main issue will be taking all 4 books to resolve, rather than each book having its own self-contained plot.

My six year old picked this out and I begrudgingly agreed to purchase and read… what an excellent surprise!
The writing and story telling are phenomenal. Even as an adult, I found myself invested in the characters and their story. It’s an enjoyable read because the writing is so excellent.
Highly recommend for kids who are interested in the subject matter!
