A post-apocalyptic, mutant-infested wasteland stands between me and my family… Time for a road trip.
Earth has changed. In a flash, the Parasite took mankind’s place in the food chain, and it is changing our world into an alien hellscape.
But the Parasite also changed me. I am an Alpha now—stronger, faster, and gifted with powers that I must cultivate and grow. I’ll need them all if I want to brave the road and save my family.
I already have two beautiful women to accompany me, and I’m sure I will find more allies—or enemies—as we travel the wasteland, scavenging and looting to survive.

No NTR, sharing, or cheating.
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.
Genre: Apocalypse harem with power cultivation
Power dynamics in harem: MC calls the shots Explicit/adult material: Explicit. Very well written.
Summary: Having saved Baileys room-mate it is time to leave and find the way to Ben's ex wife and child. The infested are still everywhere and not everyone out there and you never know if who you meet is friend or foe.
Narrators Voice diversity: Good. Easy to follow and never monotone. Pacing and intonation: Exceptional. The story and dialogue really comes to live and immerse you fully in the book and the scenes. Sex scenes: Very well done. Gabriel Michael and Katana Jones are expert narrators and it shows. Overall: 5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths. - The writing is great. The suspense of travelling in a world without order and monsters everywhere is palpable. - The explicit scenes are well done. - The cultivation is naturally described and doesn't feel forced. - I love the pace. Fast paced action and intense explicit scenes, but slow paced relationship building and the explicit scenes make sense. - The narration
The book’s weaknesses. - I can't think of anything. Its a great listen.
I got interested in End-of-the-World stories as a teenager after reading classics like On the Beach, Alas Babylon, Level 7, and later Without Law. I have to say, Apocalypse Cultivator is a really different and interesting take on the genre.
The introductory volume was a jarring read; so many events happening so quickly it left me spinning and confused at what the author was creating. But as I read on, it clicked that the author had immersed me in what he wanted to convey about the environment and utter bewilderment and fear the protagonist was experiencing. I was pretty impressed.
What happens in this second installment is an excellent expansion of the story. The events the MC and his crew experience are riveting and I rather enjoy the methods by which they recharge and recharge and evolve their powers.
Just another great series by this author. Can’t wait to see how it concludes.
Good fun. Nothing special. A little annoyed that the MC doesn't push harder to improve himself but I guess everybody is learning in this new world. Still can't fall to. Lots of growth left in this series as not a lot has been accomplished. There obviously are bigger fish to fry so to speak when they reach the crossroads. And the fate of earth has yet to be determined though it looks like there are more survivors which is good. I look forward to the next book and see what new powers get discovered.
This would definitely be a 5 star series in my opinion if the editing was fixed! Its not just a distraction it really breaks the flow of the series at times! Otherwise excellent characters, A truly interesting outlook to an apocalypse event and really good adult fantasy activities!!!
Apocalypse book needs one thing, a main character strong enough to survive.
This doesn't have it. This took the guy from book one and had him run from one fight after another. Had him turn from a cultivator to a guy scrambling for guns. This has lost the sense of growth and direction from book one, and along the way has ruined the main character.
Direct continuation of book 1; story progresses, as does the "pride". MC continues to be generally sensible and not an insufferable OP alpha bro. Can't say much else without spoilers, so if you liked the first book this one is more of the same (but in a good way since the story and characters progress somewhat).
One of the better apocalyptic series I've read recently, with plenty of interesting and fund characters, twisted villains and a whole bunch of weirdness as the world is changed after The Event.
It's really good to see the character development and looking forward to the next book!
Great dialogue, action and is fast paced. Main Characters background is lacking but the action and details surrounding them, fun read but may hit a bit close for those seeking an escape from reality.
The adventure continues as our intrepid adventurers continue their search for safety and the main characters loved ones. Gun fights and battles all well done and the spicy scenes are definitely not fade to black or for the faint of heart.
Man what a story, series!! I want to read the others in this great series that you started. Thank you Mr Bryce for another awesome characters and storyline.
