Civil war rages, but more than one crown is up for grabs. Nathan's preparations are being tested as all his enemies converge on him at once, including those he didn't know he had.
To win, Nathan will need to step further along the path of a heretic. He has tamed a pair of demonic Messengers and learned forbidden magic, but his opponents grow in power and number with each victory. While he has the support of his loving Champions, will the world judge him as kindly?
All the while, complex schemes simmer elsewhere in the world. A beastkin obsessed with Nathan claims to be a prophet. Foreign nations meddle in the Empire and prepare to invade. And the unfathomable being behind the Messengers weaves chaos into everything.
Will victory come at an impossible cost?
Or will Nathan finally break the loop of history and craft a new future?
Heretic Spellblade contains plenty of violence, undefined relationships, beast girls, and scenes that don’t fade to black.
This installment in the series continues all the fun stuff from the previous novels, but also delves a bit more into the mystery of how the universe works and who the major players truly are.
Oh my goodness! We’ve been too toeing about open war fare for 3 books now and we finally get a civil war, multiple large scale battles, vast intrigue explosive world expansion and everything else you could ever want. So many questions answered. Nathan has finally prevented all the things that cause his original world to fail and die. Now here comes the scary part. Fighting for a future where he has no inkling on who the players are or what they might be planning. Book 5 can’t get here soon enough
This book is as ridiculous as the rest. It's so past absurd that it becomes entertaining.
Hmm.
I finished the book and he did not use the ability. It was not even mentioned except for a very brief throw away action. It's almost as if the author wants us to forget about it... I hope it's used in the next book.
Series continues as strong as ever. Writing is excellent, the plot is complex but not impenetrable and the characters are interesting.
It's hard to say where these books should stop. This could work as an end point, but there is more story, especially if it expands into the extra-planar shenanigans. I will certainly watch to see where this goes from here.
One of the top 5 series in this genre!!! You have taken us the reader on an incredible ride and I can't wait to see what comes next!!! Some of the absolute best world building, powerful enjoyable characters and wonderful adult fantasy activities!!! These stories are always well worth the wait!!! Thank you
This series just keeps getting better with each book. It is the best harem series out there. I love we got to start expanding the world and hearing more about/from Trafaumh, Arcadia and Kurai.
I love the world that we’ve come to discover in these books, tome 4 isn’t an exception, we keep following Nathan in his quest to try to save the world. I’m only disappointed that the book is over and that the fifth one isn’t out yet
Absolutely love this series. Lots of action with very well written adult content thrown in for good measure when it makes sense to. The MC keeps growing stronger as he learns more. Very much looking forward to the next one.
Loved it the story flow was nice and smooth and had all the right dips in it when needed the character growth is amazing and lover where it's headed please release next one soon
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book is definitely worth checking out.
The story is getting complex and the explanations harder to follow. That being said, I’m still very much enjoying it. Mostly for its unique magic system and interesting characters. Though some barely get any love. Like poor Vera.
Another fun addition to Nathan's adventure. We are able to see Nathan look to take a stronger hold on the central government and finally see how he will handle both his father and the Nationalist movement. We also get to see how Nathan handles conflict with the other Trigems and their Bastians.
