Liked the essays at the front and the photo essays in the middle. Not so much the stories in the back.

Favorite line: "You're American- why do you speak languages?"

Amazing collection. Felt most akin with Edmund White's "My First European" and most amused by the maps presented in Martin Dowson's "Mapping America".
