Goddamn here we fucking GO!

This is the best volume so far. With the original three on a mission together to take down some demons they each get a moment to shine. I never know I needed this team up so bad. Nobara has kind of been a side player but in this she gets to show what she's made of. Easily the best moments in this volume are thanks to her with some new moves that are both gross and amazing. On top of that we get our boy Megumi who finally steps out of the shadows of worrying about everyone and focuses on him, unleashing all hell on a demon. Then we have Yuji working together with Nobara facing off against two brother demons and it's perfection.

Overall, this is everything I want in a battle manga. GREAT fight scenes, wonderful bloody attacks, great dialogue, and good backstory. Give me more like this Jujutsu and I'll be sticking with you FOREVER.

Fushiguro Megumi supremacy!!!

I was ecstatic to see our beloved trio back to their regular shenanigans, especially as they banded together to fight some awesome curses. Megumi has always been my favourite character, so getting a bit of his backstory this volume was really great! I also loved the buildup of tension as the antagonists furthered their plot against Gojo and Itadori. This was easily one of the best volumes so far!

Another incredibly fun volume was delivered and thoroughly enjoyed.

I have gotta say, I'm really liking these fight scenes and powers. It looks really cool and ups my adrenaline levels a lot. They're intense and well thought and I feel on-edge all the time so I never know what's going to happen next or what to expect from them exactly.

One thing that makes them a little funnier is how they keep getting interrupted and disturbed by either memories or interviews or something happening off-battle which gives the whole thing a more upbeat and fun atmosphere than the overly serious it could have had. I like it.

The way this manga mixes action and jokes, I will not get tired of saying, is something that makes it all the more interesting and enrapturing.

Fushiguro, Kugisaki, and Itadori are just the perfect trio and any and all of their interactions make me really happy. Their friendship is just hilarious and also really, really sweet.

I would also like to say that the tiny, little pieces of plot that we are given are not enough for me to have any idea of what is really going on aside from having a very bad feeling about things and feeling really apprehensive.

Uhhh, the mystery thickens as does the plot and I, for one, cannot wait to see where it all leads us.

One thing I'm sure of is that I cannot see the whole picture just yet and that has me very intrigued.

After a few books, the aesthetics of a series are pretty clear. It is clear when someone is finding their style like Kishimoto in early Naruto, Tite in Bleach or Arawaka in FMA. Here, I do not think that it is so obvious. The art style is consistent and mainly the designs of the characters and curses. The curses are very creative and weird it is unsettling. The style reminds me of a lot of HxH, where everything is very squarish rather than curved. However, when Akutami wants to show the impact of a scene he shows it perfectly.

The star of this volume is not Itadori, but Megumi and daamn, it was needed! His character was intriguing since the beginning and his technique is awesome. I really enjoyed his flashback with Gojo as his growth had a great reason. I feel like had this book not finished the previous arc I would give this four stars but as it is, I have to give strong three.

Pre-review: after finishing the anime series season 1 and reading some fanfics, I think I'm in love with this series. LOL

Finally got my hands on this volume!

(1) Yuji and Nobara v.s. the Death Womb Painting Curse (that seems to be a bad translation, sorry!) Brothers! So exciting!

(2) Nobara Kugisaki is my Queen!

(3) The small amount of Sukuna's appearance is nice!

(4) I like the Gojo + Megumi's flashback, and what really happened to Tsumiki?!?!

(5) Impressive fight scenes YEAH!

(6) Can't wait to re-read the series again!
